The magazine proposal outlines a magazine focused on MMA fighting called "Fight Night". The cover will feature an enlarged photo of an MMA fighter in a fighting stance or move. Around the photo, the masthead, puffs describing the content, price and barcode will be included. Throughout the magazine, fighting terminology will be used and colors like red will represent blood, while backgrounds will be in varying shades of grey like the magazine "Fight". Photos will depict different MMA equipment, styles, stances and techniques. The masthead font will be large and bold to stand out against the dark background.

I have chosen to base my magazine around MMA, so
the front cover and the information inside will have
something to do around MMA and fighting.
An example of how I want my magazine to look like is
the “Fight” magazine. The cover of my magazine will
have a photo of an MMA fighter that will be enlarged
and that covers the front page. I will choose a fighter
with a typical fighting stance or one doing a fighting
move.
Around the photo on the cover, the masthead will be at
the top of the page, there will be puffs around the outside of the cover and this will
show you what is included in the magazine and other fighting content. The price and
barcode will be is a small font somewhere in a corner.
Throughout the magazine, the style of language will be written formally there will be
use of fighting terms/slang for example, ‘beat down’, ‘bang out’ etc.
My use of colours will have represented around fighting for example, red for
representing blood and the colours will differ from the use of gloves used, shorts or
any other MMA clothing. The background colour will be merge from a light grey to
dark like the “Fight” magazine. This will be useful for my information around the
page because they will stand out in a brighter colour and will catch the readers’ eye.
The colour of titles and the masthead will be brighter colour such as, red, green,
white or yellow, this will contrast from the background and help stand out to make it
more eye-catching.
The images I will use will be my own, realistic photos. The photos will be linked to
MMA and will show different types of MMA for example, it will show the different
types of clothing you would use like gloves, shorts or a red man suit, it will include
different types of fighting styles, stances and techniques.
The masthead font will be bold and in a large font that will stand out in a bright
colour it will be contrasted from the dark background to make it eye catching.
Important information will also be enlarged in a bright colour to make it stand out
and the information underneath it. Other than the cover the information inside the
book will be a basic, readable font at a readable size in a white colour.
