2. The main focus of my front cover, contents page and double page
spread is Leanne Parker, an new upcoming artist. Her debut album has
already reached number one in 37 different countries, including the UK
and America. This girl has raw talent! She is a fun and bubbly girl who’s
personality is as big and bright as her hair! She is naturally pretty with a
unique style. With her signature voice and quirky style there is nothing
out there in the pop industry like her. I have chosen this artist to be the
main focus of my magazine as she is the girl everyone is talking about
who suddenly appeared to become famous over night. She will create
an entertaining and interesting article for my readers. She has an
incredibly large fan base for a girl who has only been on the pop scene
for a few weeks. Also, my readers are dying to know her current
relationship with bad-boy Liam Payne from One Direction. She was first
signed by Simon Cowell, which shows she must be good! She is a
stunning girl with an amazing voice who has already began to take over
the pop industry!

3. My main artist will be portrayed by my friend Kathryn. She will fit in
with the pop genre as she is bubbly and fun with a naturally pretty look.
I will style her in the unique style of ‘Leanne Parker’, which usually
consists of funky patterned shorts, crop top bralets, skater skirts and
trainers. In the front cover image and the double page spread image,
Kathryn will be dressed in the same costume to maintain the symbiotic
link. However in other images of her she will wear a completely
different costume to show Leanne’s style more to the readers. Her
make up will be natural to show off ‘Leanne’s’ natural beauty, but
teamed with bright and vibrant lipsticks to show her bright and bubbly
personality. This artist will fit in the pop industry as she is young, fun
and lively like the pop genre and pop fans. Also, she is not afraid of
letting her hair down and having fun which is what pop music is all
about. She is a lively and rebellious young girl who is always up for
gossip, and ideal candidate for a pop magazine! However, she also
encourages young girls to embrace their quirks and uniqueness which
makes her a good role model for the young readers of my magazine.

4. My magazine will feature all the current and popular pop artists. For example,
Justin Bieber, The Wanted, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Conor Maynard and Little Mix.
I will have a section on my front cover stating ‘Artists Inside’, with a list of these
particular artists. They will also feature on my contents page on the section of
the articles inside. My contents page will feature 4 images. One main image of
the feature artist, Leanne Parker, that will be larger than the other 3. The others
will be of other featured artists. These 3 artists will be:
•Rhythmix - a popular female duo that have been in the charts for 2 years.
• Jay Blake - a new teen pop sensation who has been on the scene since the
beginning of 2013.
•The Chosen – a popular boy band who were discovered on X Factor in 2011.
The images of these artists will feature on the contents page, and some on the
front cover also. By featuring these images, the pieces will look more visually
appealing to the reader. It will also make my three pieces look more professional
as real music magazines feature multiple artists.
