• Creativity and innovation are
essential life skills.
• They can be developed.
• Creativity- coming up with original
ideas that have value.
• Innovation- the implementation of
new ideas.

• Sharing work in forums.
• Get-togethers with other artists in a group.
• Feedback and support.
• Prompts and challenges.
• Find your own mentors and kindred spirits.
Artists you know, artists of the past.

• Committing goals to paper
and reviewing them
regularly gives you a 95%
higher chance of
achieving your desired
outcomes.
• Giving your self a
deadline. Something to
shoot for.
• Contests – it’s not just
about winning.

• You can learn more about your favorite medium. You don’t have to
have a teacher or a class. You can teach yourself.

you and coaches you, but
doesn’t make you give up.

21. 13. Look for opportunities to look at great
artwork.
There is no substitute for seeing artwork in person.
