A pleasure to be here today to share our experience in the global museum field + explore with you the points of convergence and divergence btw what is happening in the sphere of museums and the sphere of universities

One element of explanation is the high level of trust in museums and thus despite the general distrust in expertise
Some possible explanation
Research departments (eg VARI, PhD supervision) but always an ultimate objective to meet a public
Somehow a dynamic of co-production of knowledge with the development of always more sophisticated interpretation strategies
But a critical needs to maintain the connection with university research and certainly a number of avenue to join forces to have their voice increasingly heard forming this vital force that is knowledge economy
