I imported text into a box in Courier Std size 12 pt, spreading words by 210 and italicizing some using a 4 degree angle. I then imported text into all boxes, adjusting spacing and distance from box edges to structure text around an image, changing the font to Paper White.

- 1. I used the image tool on Quark to insert the main image, adjusting the size to fit one half of the page. I then drew out a text box with the text tool to add the title. I held down shift and pulled out the text box to give it a stretched out look. I placed a banner/background for the stand first and the by line underneath the title to make it stand out. I used the shape tool to do this and then changed the colour to black and the font on top of it to white. To add in the text I typed it up in word and then imported it into a text box which I drew out to the right size to fit the gap. I changed the column setting to 3 so that it looked conventional. I highlighted the first letter ‘W’ and changed the row length to 5 to create the drop cap. I also changed the colour to red to make it stand out more. For the quote with in the body text I drew two narrow rectangles and selected an option to space the text away from the shape. I then placed the quote inside the lines and centred the text. I used the shape tool to draw out a rectangle and then brought down the opacity so that the white text was more clear on top of the image. Production Diary
