2. Firstly, I clicked file, new then new
project to get a blank
document. Then I changed the
settings of my pages to blank
facing pages and then I
dragged a blank page from the
option ‘blank facing page onto
my document and received the
outcome of what is shown to
the right of this slide.
3. To insert a title I selected
the text box and drew a
text box on my page at
the top. I then clicked
on the hand symbol and
then clicked on the text
box I had drawn to
insert my text. I then
edited my title by using
the edit tool at the
bottom of the page, I
made my text large and
my font bold so it
stands out and is clear
that it is a title. I also
made it red to stand
out.
4. To insert the cover lines I did
the same as what I did
with the title however I
kept the text size small at
font 18. I also made it
bold so it also stood out
and put the page number
of that feature next to it in
red. I spread these cover
lines in columns placed
around the page.
5. I added some pictures by
selecting the rectangle
picture box tool to
draw a box. I then
pressed select of the
box and pressed
import a file and
selected the pictures
from my area. I didn't
have a picture for
every cover line as I
didn't want to give
away all of my
contents, however I
put some pictures in to
relate to the pictures
for my contents page
to look more
interesting.
6. Finally I added a background
to my contents page
design to make it stand
out and look appealing to
the people reading my
magazine. I chose the
colour light blue because
it is a vibrant colour and
goes well with the colour
red, which I have used in
my title and for the page
numbers next to my cover
lines subheadings.
