Structural Weakness And The Hull Of The Titanic
Structural Weakness in the Hull of the Titanic
Abstract
This document will explore the structural weakness in the hull of the RMS Titanic. I will also explore
the background information and different types of modern day steels compared to that of the hull of
the RMS Titanic. After research, I will report these events and my findings in formal report format.
All the information I find about the weaknesses of the hull will be reported using information from a
number of sources. They will be referenced using the Harvard referencing system in the document.
They will be used and referenced from in chronological order in the typical report style format. The
references will be listed in alphabetical order at the end of this report document. This document will
be laid out using headers to divide up the different sections that I will explore and report on. All the
sections will be explored and described to cover the information required to report upon the topic of
this account. The main sections I will explore will be an Introduction and about the RMS Titanic s
maiden voyage, an analysis of the materials used in the construction of the RMS Titanic, the effects
that temperature has on the materials especially metals, the different compositions of the steels and
how that effects the material s properties and I will also be comparing the steels used in the
construction of the RMS Titanic s hull with the steel used to construct lock gates and the modern
equivalent structural steel

Reflection About Misfit
The response is based on my experience that was faced with overcoming the obstacle of my misfit
situation, which began on September 8th, 2015 that continued onto April 11th, 2017. It will feature the
overall story, evidence, and my obstacle of finding the best college for me. This paper has a strong
sense regarding to the definition of misfit doing something out of ordinary to where I m at as a college
student.
Now, onto my experience. I was sitting in Study Hall then I overheard a conversation between a
student and teacher regarding this program called Futures Lab, which is a program to guide students
into college. This conversation inspired me to leave Study Hall; to check out Futures Lab so I d started
searching Special Needs Colleges which gave me a surplus of colleges to look from such as
Landmark, Mitchell and Beacon Colleges. The first website that intrigued me was Mitchell College;
which was first on my top choices of schools as it provided train transportation and my major, which
is Television Communications. One of two things that I did was, doing a virtual tour of campus as that
s when my excitement was out of control since Mitchell was the college that was a perfect fit at that
certain time. Then the second thing that I did was; I had recorded information in my notebook and
printed about fifteen pages of paper on Mitchell College to give to my parents for them to read why
Mitchell was the right place for me to get my education.

Gung Ho
Gung Ho
I recently read Gung Ho! written by Ken Blanchard and Sheldon Bowles. This book gives a unique
perspective on the leader versus manager concepts. It depicts the struggles a General Manager faces as
she is given the daunting task of running Walton Works # 2. This book shows how motivation,
appreciation, and respect can help to transform a self destructive plant into a thriving successful
business.
While on the surface Peggy Sinclair, the General Manager, thought that she was being rewarded, it did
not take longer than one day on the job to realize she was being set up. She had authored a staff
study which concluded that Old Man Morris s new strategic plan had a fatal flaw (Blanchard 2).
Though he had admitted there ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Andy believed that information is the gatekeeper to power. [He] wanted the team in charge, with the
power to make decisions and make things happen (Blanchard 112). The finishing department had
charts and reports hanging on the walls. Sharing this information allows for employees to know that
what they do impacts others and any safe time saving techniques they can develop or any time passing
with no injuries can positively affect the bottom line.
Andy and Peggy were transformational leaders. They inspire[d] people to do the unexpected, above
and beyond the plan (Kreitner 511). They wanted the employees to think outside the box and also to
be proud of the work they did each day. Taking pride in what they did improved the quality and
efficiency of the work and in turn helped to bolster morale throughout the plant.
A management style used in Gung Ho was delegation. Delegation is assigning various degrees of
decision making authority to lower level employees (Kreitner 337). When Walton Works #2 was going
through the process of achieving Gung Ho, there were many job responsibilities that the employees
absorbed. The employees had morning group motivational huddles. They would meet first thing in the
morning and discuss as a team the game plan for the day. The work schedule was not set by the
manager but it was discussed in the huddle. The decision to take machinery off line to perform
maintenance was not decided by the manager but by the

Differences And Similarities Between Hinduism And...
The world is made up of different religions that consist of different beliefs and different ways of
worshipping those beliefs. It is one s opinion to place judgment on whether a certain type of religion is
right or wrong . Essentially, religious beliefs boil down to the connection one feels within oneself.
Whether that connection can be explained by nature or spiritual beings, is determined by the beliefs a
person lives by. The most common religions include Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, and
Islam. Here, we will discuss the differences and similarities between Hinduism and Christianity. These
two religions are the most alike out of the five previously mentioned religions.
Hinduism is the major religion of India, and it unites the worshipping of many gods while believing in
a single divine reality. Hinduism can be thought of as an umbrella of many beliefs. The Hinduism
religion believes in many gods, each one having a specific purpose. Many of them are mentioned in
the Vedas, which contains the ancient scriptures of India. The Vedas are the earliest sacred books of
Hinduism, and its name translates to knowledge or sacred lore . It is said that the Vedas were revealed
to holy men of the distant past, who transmitted them to later generations. Similar to the Bible, the
Vedas were originally preserved in oral form then eventually written down. The Vedic period is
estimated to date back to about 2000 to 500 BCE. During this period is when a vast amount of

Disadvantages of Texting Texting on the phone while driving can be a very dangerous thing to do. As
someone looks at the phone and concentrates on the text messages, they will become distracted from
driving. Distracted drivers can cause car accidents and injuries or death to themselves or others.
Texting causes delayed reactions, which increase the chance of getting into an accident. According to
Cary Aspinwall, when texting while driving, drivers take their eyes off the road for 4.6 of 6 seconds. A
National Safety Council fact sheet states drivers who use cell phones are four times more likely to be
in a crash. The Harvard center for Risk Analysis reports the annual cost ... Show more content on

Karl Marx And The Great Philosopher Essay
Karl Marx was born in Trier, Prussia in 1818 to a Jewish family, but despite his baptism at age 6, he
later became an atheist. Marx attended University of Bonn, but due to his imprisonment for
drunkenness and variances with another student, he was enrolled in the University of Berlin by his
parents. Marx earned his degree in philosophy and began writing for Rheinische Zeitung, a liberal
democratic newspaper. He later became their editor. Marx was a member of Young Hegelian
movement which was group that criticized Christianity and the liberal resistance of the Prussian
autocracy. Marx engaged in numerous revolutionary movements; However, after the failures he was
driven to London in 1849. For most of his life, Marx was not working alone. Marx worked with
Friedrich Engels, who had created a similar theory to that of Marx. Engel was a great communicator
while Marx was the great philosopher. The two worked well together to formulate the term, Marxism .
Engel contributed much to Marxism and Karl Marx s other successes. Marx continuously studied and
wrote, but he was unable to finish the last two volumes of his work. Therefore, Engel put together
Marx s notes to finish the volumes after Marx passed on March 14, 1883.
A group of people who share similar opinions and views on characteristics of cultural movements,
philosophy, belief, and other concepts form into a school of thought. Karl Marx not only belonged to

Disadvantages Of Disaster Risk
Disaster risk indicates the possibility of adverse effects in the future. It originates from the
collaboration of social and environmental processes, from the mixture of natural hazards and the
vulnerabilities of exposed elements.
Due to increases in the exposure of persons and assets, the brutality of the impacts of disasters
depends strongly on the level of exposure and vulnerability in the affected area, and proof indicates
that risk has increased worldwide largely. For example, long term increases in economic losses from
weather and climate related disasters is caused by increasing exposure (IPCC 2012). There have been
limited decreases in vulnerability as a result of, for instance, better building standards and compliance,
but these reducing effects are geographically rough and there are many examples of increased
vulnerability, mostly in large urban centres and in developing countries. This has created new risk and
potential disaster losses mainly at the local and community level with the poor and demoted, marginal
populations, women and children, and those dependent on single sector economies suspiciously
affected.
Exposure:
Exposure refers to the portfolio of essentials in an area in which hazard events may occur. Later, if
population and economic resources were not located in potentially dangerous settings, there would be
no problem of disaster risk. Exposure is a required, but not enough, factor of risk. It is possible to be
exposed but not vulnerable (for

Compare My Last Duchess And The Farmers Bride
Marriage and the Natural World
When examining both Robert Browning s, My Last Duchess, and Charlotte Mew s, The Farmers
Bride, the reader witnesses the poems positions of marriage in the natural world. Within both works, it
is quite evident how each relationship is vastly different from the modern world, yet parallel it at the
same time. Whether it be: the interactions between the two people or the conditions of the marriage, it
is made more than apparent that both can be applied to modern conceptualizations of marriage.
Within My Last Duchess, the reader is introduced to the character of Alfonso, the Duke of Ferrara.
Throughout the poem, Alfonso is talking to an emissary about his late wife (Robert Browning, My
Last Duchess). He then goes on to discuss in detail about how his wife would flirt with every man she
saw, She had a heart how shall I say? Too soon may glad, too easily impressed; she liked whate er she
looked on, and her looks went everywhere (Robert Browning, My Last Duchess). From this statement,
it is made apparent that Alfonso and his previous wife didn t have the greatest of relationships, this is
further segmented when he goes on to say that she held no respect for the influence he bore, She
thanked men good! But thanked somehow I know not how as if she ranked my gift of a nine hundred
years old name with anybody s gift (Robert Browning, My Last Duchess). Just from these two
excerpts alone, it could be assumed that Alfonso and the Duchess

Essay on Poverty and Common Mental Disorders in Developing...
The two most striking take home messages from this paper are: common mental disorders should be
looked at on par with other diseases associated with poverty (like tuberculosis); treatment and
prevention of mental diseases should involve confronting poverty and economic development, apart
from the medical interventions. The rest of the paper provides a discussion of the evidence backing
these points and the ways in which they can be implemented. These conclusions and the reasons why
they are remarkable are discussed in this critique.
This is a review of 11 community studies on the association between poverty and common mental
disorders in six low and middle income countries published in English language journals since 1990
and three ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, they qualify this statement, maintaining that this is not a final conclusion since the review
contained a small number of studies, none of them longitudinal.
The first important implication this paper emphasizes is that there is a strong need for mental diseases
to be looked at on par with other diseases associated with poverty. There is no doubt today that mental
disorders form a significant public health burden (WHO report, 2001). One category of mental illness
unipolar depressive disorders is placed third among leading causes of burden of disease in terms of
Disability Adjusted Life Years (DALYs) globally (Global Burden of Disease, WHO, 2004). This is
more than that for ischemic heart diseases or even HIV/AIDS. Yet, there is a big discrepancy between
the magnitude of mental illness burden (especially in low and middle income countries) and the
resources devoted to addressing it (Tomlinson, 2009). At the root of this issue is the stigma associated
with mental illness. Public stigma and internalized stigma (negative attitudes held by stigmatized
individuals about themselves) associated with having a mental illness negatively affect a person s
attitude and intentions toward seeking mental health services (Conner, 2010). Stigma also affects the
way policy makers and donors perceive the need to allocate funds and resources to a cause. If
common mental disorders are viewed

Rich Mans Toys Review
Genesis Gaming launched nearly a decade ago, but in that time it hasn t really been able to dent the
online slots market. The developer has pretty much spent the best part of 10 years floating under the
radar, but considering how quickly the production line has been churning out tiles as of late, they are
now making a play to improve market position. Focusing on delivering something a little more
highbrow, the latest game from Genesis Gaming comes in the form of Rich Mans Toys.
Rich Mans Toys is a game that is as obvious as you are ever going to get with a slot game name. Super

Looking at what bonus features are included in the game, it s a case of the classics, as both wild
symbols and free spins are in effect. The luxury home is the scatter here, with it needing to appear 2,
3, or 4 times to grab some free spins. The wild is the popping champagne icon, with it working the
exact same way as it does in other Genesis Gaming titles.
All effort, little reward
Rich Mans Toys has another drawback with its controls, as the game is cumbersome to navigate even
at the best of times. We don t quite understand why Genesis Gaming continues to push forward with
the multi screen control panel approach when it clearly doesn t work.
Slowing the gameplay process down, we can only wonder what game Rich Mans Toys might have
been if it had a streamlined control panel.

Contextualization affects the way theology is expressed. During the 19th and 20th centuries the
theological center of Protestantism seemed to be in North America and Europe, with Germany being
the nexus or center for theological scholarship. However, the issues German theologians talk about are
not always the issues being wrestled with in other parts of the world. In this regard Korean Bong Bin

made believers in the West start thinking of them as the mother church. Now that Westerners are a
minority in the global church, some are worried that leaders from other parts of the world will make

What Is Bouguereau s Depiction Of The Young Shepherdess
The Young Shepherdess was painted in 1885 by William Adolphe Bouguereau on a 62 by 28 and a
half inch canvas with oil paint, and is currently owned by the San Diego Museum of Art, given as a
gift to the museum in 1968 by Mr. and Mrs. Edwin S. Larsen ( The Young Shepherdess , 2014). The
painting depicts a young woman tending to her flock of sheep. The young woman in this painting
appears to be a typical youth, she is assigned what are most likely her chores for the day, to watch
over this flock of sheep while they graze. Her body faces her flock of sheep, but her head turns to face
the viewer. She seems to be distracted, she is looking away from the flock, almost appearing to gaze at

He demonstrated artistic talent as a youth, and was allowed to attend the drawing school of M. Alaux.
At this school, His fellow pupils, almost without exception, intended to be artists, and felt a contempt
for Bouguereau on account of his business occupations; thus, when at the end of the year he took the
prize for which all had striven, the excitement was so great that a riot occurred, and the pupils made a
formal protest against his receiving it, but without effect. (Erskine Clement, 79 80). This type of
reaction to Bouguereau s success became quite typical within the art community. The impressionist
and realist painters of his era despised his rigidly academic style, and commercial incentives. He was
paid top dollar for his works, and even though he had great passion for his work, he realized that in
order to succeed financially, his subjects must reflect the tastes of the market. This is perhaps one of
the most intriguing things about Bouguereau, that despite the fact that his works were often
commissioned, and that he was expected to paint certain subjects, his work still showcased a
remarkable amount of passion and energy. The most successful period of his career was after his
return to France in 1854, where he became an immensely successful and influential exponent of
academic art, upholding traditional values and contriving to exclude avant garde work from the Salon
(Chilvers, 68). This is the period in

Pride And Prejudice By Elizabeth Bennet
In today s society, young girls have been taught to believe in their perfect Cinderella wedding where
they will marry their Prince Charming in a beautiful dress and eventually live happily ever after. The
film industry portrays marriage as picture perfect, in which every girl has their dream wedding and
true love always finds its way. Contrary to the media s view, marriage was not always a fairy tale
because women had the responsibility to help provide for their family. During the English Regency
period, young girls married for financial security and social benefits to improve their family s status.
In Pride and Prejudice, Elizabeth Bennet rebelled against this mainstream idea of marriage set by
society, in order to marry for true love. Set during the Regency period, Pride and Prejudice focuses on
the upbringing of women in a male dominated society in which marriage was the only escape from
destitution. For women, the story emphasizes the major motives behind matrimony such as financial
stability, social pressure, and passion, but it ultimately embodies the idea that females are capable of
marrying for true love. In the following pages, this essay will first provide background information
about society during the English Regency and the marriage customs set for women during this time
period. This essay will then offer a brief summary of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Finally, this
essay will analyze the various motives of marriages presented between

Rogers seems therefore to be describing an emotional consequence resulting from what the
behaviourist BF Skinner called positive and negative conditioning. He conceptualised Conditions of
Worth as the limited ways in which a person could see him or herself as being valued. The formulation
was also influenced by psychoanalyst Erik Erikson and his ideas of the early stages of development.
Rogers asserted that the child who learns trust and a sense of personal control are more likely to have
a sense of self agency and robustness in the face of later difficulties. This comes about when conflicts
find a successful resolution leaving both parties emotionally respected and intact. Thus Rogers more
developed model of how a child is socially instructed can encompass concepts such as shame

as such is more of a meta model of growth of the personality.

The Effects Of Dual Relations On The Therapeutic Alliance...
In a psychotherapist s office, there are a multitude of occurrences that may prompt possible boundary
crossings and violations some that may impact the therapeutic alliance or some that may enhance the
relationship. Therefore, a psychotherapist must weigh the possible risks and benefits when coming
across such instances that may engender a boundary crossing, a boundary violation, or a formation of
a dual relationship. Although, not all boundary crossings or dual relationships are considered
unethical, psychotherapists should still be weary of trespassing such ambiguous territory, especially
when the trespassing can lead to exploitation of a client or impairment on the psychotherapist s
professional judgment (Jensen, 2005). Thus, an analysis of decision making is warranted in Lying on
the Couch (Yalom, 1997), where psychotherapists, Dr. Marshal Streider and Dr. Ernest Lash, facilitate
a myriad of dual relationships and boundary crossings via self disclosure, without taking into
consideration the implications this may have on the client. A dual relationship is defined by the
American Psychological Association as one in which a psychotherapist is in not only a professional
relationship with a client, but is also either in a non professional relationship with that client or in a
non professional relationship with someone who is close to that client (APA, 2010). In Lying on the
Couch (Yalom, 1997), Dr. Streider enters a professional relationship with Peter Macondo, who

Essay On Muscle Injury
You often hear about athletes who are unable to play their sport due to a pulled hamstring. In fact, a
pulled hamstring is one of the most common muscle pulls or muscle injury. Your hamstrings are a
group of three muscles that help extend your legs at the hip and flex them at the knee. A pulled
hamstring is a strain or tear in the muscles or tendons.
To understand what causes a hamstring injury you have to know how muscles work. All muscles work
in pairs to perform a task. One set of muscles contracts to exert force while the other set of muscles
relaxes. The hamstring muscles located at the back of the thigh, work with the quadriceps muscle
group in the front of the thigh. When you want to bend your leg, the hamstring muscles contract and
the quadriceps muscles relax. Conversely, when you want to straighten your leg, the quadriceps
muscles contract and the hamstring muscles relax. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This frequently happens with the hamstring muscles. The quadriceps muscles are usually much more
powerful, so the hamstring can become fatigued faster. A fatigued muscle cannot relax as easily when
its opposing muscle contracts, leading to strains.
Muscle strains are overuse injuries that result when the muscle is stretched without being properly
warmed up. An injury to the hamstring is usually readily apparent. Mild strains may involve simple,
uncomfortable tightening of the muscle. More severe injuries may result in a sharp pain in the back of
the thigh, usually in full stride. A rupture or tear may leave you unable to stand or walk, muscles may
be tender to the touch and painful to stretch your leg. Within a few days after a tear the area may
appear very bruised.
Remember RICE and you will know the immediate treatment protocol for many sports related

glad I did. After posting my praise on this blog and all my other social media platforms, the author
offered me a copy of the second novel as well as a novella which I can t wait to dive into, by the way.
I loved that in this book we had an entirely new setting, it no longer takes place at Miss Mabel s but
rather at Chatham Castle which is basically the capitol of the Central Network. We get to explore so
much more in this book, we even travel to another Network in Antebellum. I also loved the addition of
the new characters and creatures, especially Merrick and Sonna. ... Show more content on

Considering that the first book was set at an entirely all girl s school romance wasn t much of an
option. What I liked most about the addition, though, was the fact that the romance was centered
around Bianca s friends rather than herself. Yes, there are still hints of it between her and Merrick but
it is hardly a blossoming romance or anything of the sort, especially when compared with the
descriptions of Camille and Brecken or Michelle and Nicholas. This book kept up my favorite part of
the first book, and that was the all around girl power. The girls in these books basically rule, and it is

Cleofilas Is A Feminist Analysis
In Mexican culture, women are expected to marry a man then stay at home to care for the kids while
the husband is at work. Women are taught to be dependent on a man in their lives, thus they never
really learn what it is to be feminist. This is very similar to what Cleofilas believes, which she learned
from her family and telenovelas. Therefore, Cleofilas does not understand feminist ideologies and
wants to marry a man to care for her. Although from her background, Cleofilas is clearly not a
feminist as she endeavors to make a home, she is able to observe or visit the feminine perspective
through her struggles.
As she grew up watching telenovelas, Cleofilas witnessed many scenes involving domestic abuse. She
watched on television as the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
She is willing to stand up to her spouse in order to make sure there are no complications during the
birth of her second child. She is slowly realizing what it is to be feminist due to the fact that she is
willing to try anything to convince Juan Pedro. Although she agrees to lie about her bruises saying she
fell down the front steps (Cisneros, 226), it is a step in the right direction to feminism. Ultimately, the
visit to the doctor allows her to receive help. She is given a chance to escape. She accepts the
opportunity as she begins to find out that she no longer has to take the abuse from Juan Pedro.
By the end of the story, Cleofilas is able to witness feminism in the form of another woman, Felice.
Upon leaving Juan Pedro to return to her family, she meets Felice. Felice gives Cleofilas the ride to
the bus station to escape from Juan Pedro. Cleofilas was shocked by the idea of Felice, a woman who
drove a pickup... and didn t have a husband (Cisneros, 228). Cleofilas has an epiphany and realizes
that she could be independent. She would no longer have to rely on a man to support her and her
children. Also, as Felice screams when they pass Woman Hollering Creek, Cleofilas realizes that she
has the power to speak up. She does not have to suffer in silence if anyone in abusing her. She
becomes empowered by Felice and knows what it is to be feminist.
In conclusion, Cleofilas culture limits her knowledge of feminism. She is basically a mail order bride

Summary Of Canuck Rock
The article Canuck Rock written by Ryan Edwardson was a very informative and interesting piece.
Although I only read the introduction and conclusion I believe that the information I was giving was
very strong. In my essay I am going to write about the parts I found interesting in the Canuck Rock
introduction and conclusion. The introduction of Canuck Rock was more than less comparing the
Canadian side of music to the world. At the very start of the introduction a quote by Gilles Vigneault
caught my eye I thought was very true I often say that there is no such thing as a Canadian song style
this may sound a bit ungracious of me, but it conveys what I mean... There is Quebec style, and there
is the American style . In my opinion, this quote

Throwing Strikes by R.A. Dickey and About R.A. Dickey Essay
The book, Throwing Strikes, by R.A. Dickey is a fascinating biography about the author, a 39yearold
knuckle ball pitcher who currently plays Major League Baseball for the Toronto Blue Jays baseball
team. R.A. Dickey tells the story in an informal, conversational writing style written in first person
about his struggles in the beginning of his baseball career, and how he miraculously turns his career
around after getting advice and working with his idol, Phil Niekro, a former Atlanta Braves ballplayer
who was nicknamed Knucksie because of his usage and skill level with the knuckleball.
Throwing Strikes was first copyrighted in 2013, which coincidentally is the same year that

Luckily, his hard work started to pay off, and Dickey moved back up the ranks with the Rangers. He
played decent there, but then got traded and while using the knuckleball as his primary pitch, Dickey
got back on top. It took a lot of faith, hope, and determination, but R.A. Dickey achieved his dream of
making it into the major leagues. Now, he s one of the most respected pitchers in the game and proof
that with hard work and devotion, anyone can overcome whatever life throws at them.
Although the author did not state the exact purpose of writing his biography, I believe R.A. Dickey
shared his amazing baseball story in order to encourage and inspire young readers like me, reinforcing
throughout his biography that hard work and dedication pays off.
The theme of the book is to never give up on your dream. Even if you think your goal seems
impossible, it never hurts to dream big. That is exactly what R.A. Dickey did. R.A. Dickey s dream
since he was a little kid was to be a pitcher in the Major Leagues. But once he got there, he struggled.
Phil
Niekro told R.A. Dickey, If you want to be the best, you have TO BE the best. R.A. took that to heart,
and from that point on really worked harder than ever to be the best knuckleball pitcher ever. Every
practice R.A. worked his butt off and in the games he pitched in, he used all his power, blood, sweat
and tears and put it to work. Luckily R.A. Dickey s dream paid off, and he gets paid millions

Define And Describe The Three Analytics Types Essay
1. Define and describe the three analytics types. a. Descriptive Analytics. This type of business
analytics is to answer the question what is happening and why did it happen? . The process of
descriptive analytics is looking at past performance and understanding this performance. Data mining,
data aggregation, segmentation, profiling are some tools that can be used to perform the descriptive
analytics. The output of this analytics, for example, is the age range of bank customers, the income
distribution of the customers, number of children in the household, and customers preferences. b.
Predictive Analytics. This type of business analytics is to answer the question What is likely to

Ode To Joy Beethoven
What is the purpose of life? Making money, travel around the world, or peaceful? It is about all of

Why people want to get rich, why people like to travel around the world, and why people love

Desdemona Is To Blame In Shakespeare s Othello
I do think it is their husbands faults / if wives do fall, Emilia says to Desdemona the night of their
murders (4.3.82 83). However Desdemona goes and passively takes blame and only Emilia follows
her ideology and fights back against the men. While both characters have their own distinct
personalities, their choices boil mostly down their contrary senses of loyalty and justice. In
Shakespeare s Othello, although Emilia and Desdemona are both characterized as loyal and judicious,
through their differing statuses, opinions of men, and trust in their husbands, Shakespeare shows
Emilia to be more honorable.

him out even on her deathbed. In this scene, Desdemona seems desperate, as if she knows her fate but
still wishes to save someone. The closest person to her is Othello and knowing that he will certainly be
killed for murdering her, Desdemona shares her helping personality one more time and tries to spare
Othello. Desdemona places the blame on herself as she dies as she will be unable to face any more

actually killing her, Desdemona is able to judge his character and knows he still loves her and is
worthy of her loyalty. Desdemona s focus on loyalty contrasts with how Emilia believes justice to be
of more importance. After Othello kills Desdemona, Emilia, realizing she has proof of Iago s guilt,
knows she is the only one who can reveal the truth. Despite Iago s knife to her throat, Emilia says, I

Key players
The key player in the case is Pat Evans, became Director of Health Services for six months at GSV,
and he noticed two main issues at GSV, 1) most of the decisions for levels of care are economic
driven; 2) weak correlation between each department.
Therefore, he promotes his idea about integrated delivery system to the board, and he forms a group
called The Geriatric assessment and Care Planning Team which gather medical, rehabilitation, social
services, nursing staffs to work together on resident health assessment. But his plan bristled with
difficulties.
Some other key players are Reverend Kathleen Mueller, the chair of board, she strong supports the
plan; Dr. Alexis Schmidt who is Medical Director, he deeply disagrees Pat s idea about integrated
delivery systems; Bill Wagner, executive director, Dr. Schmidt and she make the final decision to
determine the residents level of care, and she has concern of pat s plan as well. And there are also
some minor players like, Louise Richards, chief physical therapist; Maggie Newman, Director of

China s Power Generation Report
China Power Generation
China has no option but to continue using coal in generating electricity. Coal is the only viable
resource in their disposal that can be used to generate electricity bearing in mind that in 2011 it was
the largest coal producer, producing more than 3.5 billion metric tones of coal. This accounts for 135
of the worlds coal supply. Coal is used to fire 805 of China s power plants (Institute of Energy
Research, 2013). There are other avenues that China can exhaust with regard to electricity generation
like hydroelectric power. However, hydroelectric power has since lost its share in China s power
generation market from 18% in 2010 to 12% in 2040(Institute of Energy Research, 2013). This comes
even after hydroelectric power had injected an excess of 190 gigawatts of hydroelectricity generating
capacity. This has relegated to the second position after coal (Institute of Energy Research, 2013).
Nuclear power is ranked third. It is expected to add 149 gigawatts of nuclear capacity over 30 year
projection into China s energy grid. The Fukushima incidence and other world nuclear incidences
could be the reason why nuclear power is ranked lower relative to coal power. This may be because
apart from the environmental concerns that have been associated with coal use it has never caused an
incidence of a magnitude of a nuclear disaster. Use of wind is also gaining currency in electricity
generation. However, it is still ranked fourth after nuclear power because it

Benefits of Adoption
Adoption is a wonderful and rewarding way to grow a family. When you open your heart and house to
a child through adoption, you make an everlasting commitment. It is an important decision that
requires thought and discussion among the entire family. Adopting a child is without a doubt a life
changing experience that requires patience and dedication. This experience allows families to change a
child s life who one day may have thought that they would never be loved. Parents who adopt from

Ultimately, they learn to be comfortable with themselves. (Child Dev 1984). In conclusion, adopting is
absolutely something to consider. The most important thing to remember is that every child needs a
safe and loving home. Any family who believes that they can provide security, love and safety to a
child in need should consider taking this role. It is an unforgettable, life changing experience not only
for the parent but for the child as well. Parents have the opportunity to provide that child a normal life
which would otherwise be missing. Some researchers say that adopted children who were once in a
foster care tend to misbehave or act a certain way in order to create a feeling of rejection, anger, pain
and abandonment in their parents. This testing behavior may actually indicate that the child feels
comfortable enough with the parent to communicate his or her own true feelings. (Welf Info Gateway
2012). This is a positive reaction which only solidifies the strong bond that parents will be able to
attain with the new member of the family. The benefits of adopting are endless, and will only gain
love in a child s heart. Parents will absolutely bring tremendous joy to that child s life. One thing is
true, and this is that no one will ever know unless they experience this. References

Criminals Do not Obey Gun Control Laws
In America, the average amount of people shot per year is 100,000; over ten thousand defenseless
people are murdered. The Second Amendment s proclamation that A well regulated Militia, being
necessary to the security of a Free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be
infringed has been an extensive topic of debate. Moreover, the amendment has been one of many
debates over the several years throughout America. The discussion of gun control is often debated as
to whether or not it is morally right to legally bypass the Second Amendment to avoid unlawful uses
of arms. The Second Amendment allows citizens to carry firearms specifically for protection, gun
control hinders that right and places civilians lives in danger. In short, the U.S. government s intrusive
restrictions on gun laws prevent law abiding citizens from defending themselves with firearms.
The effects of gun control should abide with the Second Amendment. Although true, the Second
Amendment is not an unlimited right to own guns. Notwithstanding, the Second Amendment allows
the freedom to bear arms. The Second Amendment has never been interpreted as giving only states the
right to peaceably assemble. Moreover, the Court did not address whether the Second Amendment
applies to state and local governments. Even though the government chose to limit the rights of the
people, the Second

The Origin Of Modern Human Behavior
The origin of modern human behavior is a subject in anthropology that accumulates much debate.
Cognition is the dominant factor in such behavior, therefore raises the question, when did this
separation of intelligent or modern thought from the primitive come to daily behavior for our genus?
There are two such answers that hold experts in the field captive in debate: the rapid imagination
revolution in the European centrailized Upper Paleolithic, and the steadiness of cognitive growth
provided first in Africa during the Middle Paleolithic. Although each argument provides supportive
evidence for their perspective claims, the more naturally convincing shows this creative revolution
taking place much earlier than the Upper Paleolithic. This explanations human cognition developing
with no brisk advantageous revolutionary response, and instead by gradual means. This
metamorphosis follows the pattern of biological human evolution. My argument combats the
imagination revolution claim to the origins of creativity using specific artifacts dated earlier than those
of European restrictions. Furthermore, it is the lack of excavation in Africa and the conditions of the
terrain itself that pose problematic preservation of artifacts, unlike in Europe, to exonerate this
innovative exclusivity. These pieces of evidence in Africa exemplify a higher process of thinking,

Indian politicians believed that the objective of the policy for women s development should consist of
a shift of attitude from one of compassion and welfare to that of treatment of women as equal partners
with men, (Madhok). One way the Indian government promoted it was that nearly five years ago, the
government brought in legislation reserving seats for women on panchayats, or councils which make
decisions on every important decision in village political life. Originally the sole preserve of men,
panchayats now have women members and leaders, who are slowly beginning to challenge feudal
traditions and change the way the councils run. The society in India is beginning to accept women in
high political positions. In this case, political culture plays a significant role since Indian society
promotes the representation of women, and thus, it is a part of that nation s culture. Since Indian
society supports more representation of women, or at least equal representation given the population
size, political culture helps push the women s movement forward. Not only are there seats reserved for
women on panchayats, or the local form of government, but there is a quota system present in all three
tiers of government. Quotas are being introduced in countries that do not have a long history of
mobilization of women and of women s integration

to treat Kara lynn s phoneme collapses into /d/. She collapses multiple phonemes into /d/ in word
initial, medial, and final positions including some stops, fricatives, and consonant clusters. The
multiple oppositions approach targets phoneme collapse by simultaneously contrasting the errored
sounds with the target sounds .This helps the child recognize their own patterns of error and make

Voltaire’s Candide
The Human Tissue Act 65 of 1983 regulates all aspects regarding organ transplants. This
Act was last amended in 1989. Since then medical science has developed so big in size and to such an
extent that organ transplants today are almost routine operations in many hospitals. Unfortunately the
current methods of procuring human organs are not supplying the demand. A new approach, the
commercialization of human organs for transplantation is a possibility with the potential to supply one
hundred per cent of the demand for organs. There are however many arguments against the
commercialization of human organs. Ethical aspects concerning commercialization of human organs
also need to be investigated, in order to reach a conclusion ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Such cases may be motivated by the desire to discharge a religious duty, to correct a wrong done in the
past, to gain mental or moral satisfaction, or to be seen as a good
Samaritan.
Once the practice of organ donation by the genetically related and also by strangers, based on altruism,
has been accepted as ethically sound the following components of organ removal stand morally
vindicated. Here are 2 of which they are talking about: (a) A person s expectation to enjoy life with the
help of organs belonging to others is valid, and(b) the breach of a donor s bodily integrity and the
consequent harms are permissible. Judged on these values a person s act of severing his/her organ in
order to liberate a fellow being from a terminal illness or to save his/her life cannot be dubbed as
immoral simply because the act is accompanied by a reasonable material consideration. When a
person sells an organ he or she acts both selfishly, in advantaging him or herself, and altruistically, in
contributing to a public good. The presence of considerations is not a sufficient reason to transform a
simple act into a sin. Otherwise, selling water to the thirsty would be an equally big sin in fact rather a
bigger one (Marino 2002).
Policies on organ transplantation reflect a unique social paternalism. Objections against the sale of
organs such as the dilution of altruism in society, the risk that

  • 3. Reflection About Misfit The response is based on my experience that was faced with overcoming the obstacle of my misfit situation, which began on September 8th, 2015 that continued onto April 11th, 2017. It will feature the overall story, evidence, and my obstacle of finding the best college for me. This paper has a strong sense regarding to the definition of misfit doing something out of ordinary to where I m at as a college student. Now, onto my experience. I was sitting in Study Hall then I overheard a conversation between a student and teacher regarding this program called Futures Lab, which is a program to guide students into college. This conversation inspired me to leave Study Hall; to check out Futures Lab so I d started searching Special Needs Colleges which gave me a surplus of colleges to look from such as Landmark, Mitchell and Beacon Colleges. The first website that intrigued me was Mitchell College; which was first on my top choices of schools as it provided train transportation and my major, which is Television Communications. One of two things that I did was, doing a virtual tour of campus as that s when my excitement was out of control since Mitchell was the college that was a perfect fit at that certain time. Then the second thing that I did was; I had recorded information in my notebook and printed about fifteen pages of paper on Mitchell College to give to my parents for them to read why Mitchell was the right place for me to get my education. As I had begun the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Gung Ho Gung Ho I recently read Gung Ho! written by Ken Blanchard and Sheldon Bowles. This book gives a unique perspective on the leader versus manager concepts. It depicts the struggles a General Manager faces as she is given the daunting task of running Walton Works # 2. This book shows how motivation, appreciation, and respect can help to transform a self destructive plant into a thriving successful business. While on the surface Peggy Sinclair, the General Manager, thought that she was being rewarded, it did not take longer than one day on the job to realize she was being set up. She had authored a staff study which concluded that Old Man Morris s new strategic plan had a fatal flaw (Blanchard 2). Though he had admitted there ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Andy believed that information is the gatekeeper to power. [He] wanted the team in charge, with the power to make decisions and make things happen (Blanchard 112). The finishing department had charts and reports hanging on the walls. Sharing this information allows for employees to know that what they do impacts others and any safe time saving techniques they can develop or any time passing with no injuries can positively affect the bottom line. Andy and Peggy were transformational leaders. They inspire[d] people to do the unexpected, above and beyond the plan (Kreitner 511). They wanted the employees to think outside the box and also to be proud of the work they did each day. Taking pride in what they did improved the quality and efficiency of the work and in turn helped to bolster morale throughout the plant. A management style used in Gung Ho was delegation. Delegation is assigning various degrees of decision making authority to lower level employees (Kreitner 337). When Walton Works #2 was going through the process of achieving Gung Ho, there were many job responsibilities that the employees absorbed. The employees had morning group motivational huddles. They would meet first thing in the morning and discuss as a team the game plan for the day. The work schedule was not set by the manager but it was discussed in the huddle. The decision to take machinery off line to perform maintenance was not decided by the manager but by the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Differences And Similarities Between Hinduism And... The world is made up of different religions that consist of different beliefs and different ways of worshipping those beliefs. It is one s opinion to place judgment on whether a certain type of religion is right or wrong . Essentially, religious beliefs boil down to the connection one feels within oneself. Whether that connection can be explained by nature or spiritual beings, is determined by the beliefs a person lives by. The most common religions include Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Here, we will discuss the differences and similarities between Hinduism and Christianity. These two religions are the most alike out of the five previously mentioned religions. Hinduism is the major religion of India, and it unites the worshipping of many gods while believing in a single divine reality. Hinduism can be thought of as an umbrella of many beliefs. The Hinduism religion believes in many gods, each one having a specific purpose. Many of them are mentioned in the Vedas, which contains the ancient scriptures of India. The Vedas are the earliest sacred books of Hinduism, and its name translates to knowledge or sacred lore . It is said that the Vedas were revealed to holy men of the distant past, who transmitted them to later generations. Similar to the Bible, the Vedas were originally preserved in oral form then eventually written down. The Vedic period is estimated to date back to about 2000 to 500 BCE. • 6. Disadvantage of Texting Vicki Jackson Professor Perry English 100 03 16 Feb. 2011 Disadvantages of Texting Texting on the phone while driving can be a very dangerous thing to do. As someone looks at the phone and concentrates on the text messages, they will become distracted from driving. Distracted drivers can cause car accidents and injuries or death to themselves or others. Texting causes delayed reactions, which increase the chance of getting into an accident. According to Cary Aspinwall, when texting while driving, drivers take their eyes off the road for 4.6 of 6 seconds. A National Safety Council fact sheet states drivers who use cell phones are four times more likely to be in a crash. The Harvard center for Risk Analysis reports the annual cost ... • 8. Karl Marx And The Great Philosopher Essay Karl Marx was born in Trier, Prussia in 1818 to a Jewish family, but despite his baptism at age 6, he later became an atheist. Marx attended University of Bonn, but due to his imprisonment for drunkenness and variances with another student, he was enrolled in the University of Berlin by his parents. Marx earned his degree in philosophy and began writing for Rheinische Zeitung, a liberal democratic newspaper. He later became their editor. Marx was a member of Young Hegelian movement which was group that criticized Christianity and the liberal resistance of the Prussian autocracy. Marx engaged in numerous revolutionary movements; However, after the failures he was driven to London in 1849. For most of his life, Marx was not working alone. Marx worked with Friedrich Engels, who had created a similar theory to that of Marx. Engel was a great communicator while Marx was the great philosopher. The two worked well together to formulate the term, Marxism . Engel contributed much to Marxism and Karl Marx s other successes. Marx continuously studied and wrote, but he was unable to finish the last two volumes of his work. Therefore, Engel put together Marx s notes to finish the volumes after Marx passed on March 14, 1883. • 9. Disadvantages Of Disaster Risk Disaster risk indicates the possibility of adverse effects in the future. It originates from the collaboration of social and environmental processes, from the mixture of natural hazards and the vulnerabilities of exposed elements. Due to increases in the exposure of persons and assets, the brutality of the impacts of disasters depends strongly on the level of exposure and vulnerability in the affected area, and proof indicates that risk has increased worldwide largely. For example, long term increases in economic losses from weather and climate related disasters is caused by increasing exposure (IPCC 2012). There have been limited decreases in vulnerability as a result of, for instance, better building standards and compliance, but these reducing effects are geographically rough and there are many examples of increased vulnerability, mostly in large urban centres and in developing countries. This has created new risk and potential disaster losses mainly at the local and community level with the poor and demoted, marginal populations, women and children, and those dependent on single sector economies suspiciously affected. Exposure: Exposure refers to the portfolio of essentials in an area in which hazard events may occur. Later, if population and economic resources were not located in potentially dangerous settings, there would be no problem of disaster risk. Exposure is a required, but not enough, factor of risk. It is possible to be exposed but not vulnerable (for ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 10. Compare My Last Duchess And The Farmers Bride Marriage and the Natural World When examining both Robert Browning s, My Last Duchess, and Charlotte Mew s, The Farmers Bride, the reader witnesses the poems positions of marriage in the natural world. Within both works, it is quite evident how each relationship is vastly different from the modern world, yet parallel it at the same time. Whether it be: the interactions between the two people or the conditions of the marriage, it is made more than apparent that both can be applied to modern conceptualizations of marriage. Within My Last Duchess, the reader is introduced to the character of Alfonso, the Duke of Ferrara. Throughout the poem, Alfonso is talking to an emissary about his late wife (Robert Browning, My Last Duchess). He then goes on to discuss in detail about how his wife would flirt with every man she saw, She had a heart how shall I say? Too soon may glad, too easily impressed; she liked whate er she looked on, and her looks went everywhere (Robert Browning, My Last Duchess). From this statement, it is made apparent that Alfonso and his previous wife didn t have the greatest of relationships, this is further segmented when he goes on to say that she held no respect for the influence he bore, She thanked men good! But thanked somehow I know not how as if she ranked my gift of a nine hundred years old name with anybody s gift (Robert Browning, My Last Duchess). The two most striking take home messages from this paper are: common mental disorders should be looked at on par with other diseases associated with poverty (like tuberculosis); treatment and prevention of mental diseases should involve confronting poverty and economic development, apart from the medical interventions. The rest of the paper provides a discussion of the evidence backing these points and the ways in which they can be implemented. These conclusions and the reasons why they are remarkable are discussed in this critique. This is a review of 11 community studies on the association between poverty and common mental disorders in six low and middle income countries published in English language journals since 1990 and three ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... However, they qualify this statement, maintaining that this is not a final conclusion since the review contained a small number of studies, none of them longitudinal. The first important implication this paper emphasizes is that there is a strong need for mental diseases to be looked at on par with other diseases associated with poverty. There is no doubt today that mental disorders form a significant public health burden (WHO report, 2001). One category of mental illness unipolar depressive disorders is placed third among leading causes of burden of disease in terms of Disability Adjusted Life Years (DALYs) globally (Global Burden of Disease, WHO, 2004). This is more than that for ischemic heart diseases or even HIV/AIDS. Yet, there is a big discrepancy between the magnitude of mental illness burden (especially in low and middle income countries) and the resources devoted to addressing it (Tomlinson, 2009). At the root of this issue is the stigma associated with mental illness. Public stigma and internalized stigma (negative attitudes held by stigmatized individuals about themselves) associated with having a mental illness negatively affect a person s attitude and intentions toward seeking mental health services (Conner, 2010). Stigma also affects the way policy makers and donors perceive the need to allocate funds and resources to a cause. If common mental disorders are viewed ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The impressionist and realist painters of his era despised his rigidly academic style, and commercial incentives. • 17. Pride And Prejudice By Elizabeth Bennet In today s society, young girls have been taught to believe in their perfect Cinderella wedding where they will marry their Prince Charming in a beautiful dress and eventually live happily ever after. The film industry portrays marriage as picture perfect, in which every girl has their dream wedding and true love always finds its way. Contrary to the media s view, marriage was not always a fairy tale because women had the responsibility to help provide for their family. During the English Regency period, young girls married for financial security and social benefits to improve their family s status. In Pride and Prejudice, Elizabeth Bennet rebelled against this mainstream idea of marriage set by society, in order to marry for true love. Set during the Regency period, Pride and Prejudice focuses on the upbringing of women in a male dominated society in which marriage was the only escape from destitution. For women, the story emphasizes the major motives behind matrimony such as financial stability, social pressure, and passion, but it ultimately embodies the idea that females are capable of marrying for true love. In the following pages, this essay will first provide background information about society during the English Regency and the marriage customs set for women during this time period. This essay will then offer a brief summary of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Finally, this essay will analyze the various motives of marriages presented between ... He conceptualised Conditions of Worth as the limited ways in which a person could see him or herself as being valued. Rogers asserted that the child who learns trust and a sense of personal control are more likely to have a sense of self agency and robustness in the face of later difficulties. This comes about when conflicts find a successful resolution leaving both parties emotionally respected and intact. • 19. The Effects Of Dual Relations On The Therapeutic Alliance... In a psychotherapist s office, there are a multitude of occurrences that may prompt possible boundary crossings and violations some that may impact the therapeutic alliance or some that may enhance the relationship. Therefore, a psychotherapist must weigh the possible risks and benefits when coming across such instances that may engender a boundary crossing, a boundary violation, or a formation of a dual relationship. Although, not all boundary crossings or dual relationships are considered unethical, psychotherapists should still be weary of trespassing such ambiguous territory, especially when the trespassing can lead to exploitation of a client or impairment on the psychotherapist s professional judgment (Jensen, 2005). Thus, an analysis of decision making is warranted in Lying on the Couch (Yalom, 1997), where psychotherapists, Dr. Marshal Streider and Dr. Ernest Lash, facilitate a myriad of dual relationships and boundary crossings via self disclosure, without taking into consideration the implications this may have on the client. A dual relationship is defined by the American Psychological Association as one in which a psychotherapist is in not only a professional relationship with a client, but is also either in a non professional relationship with that client or in a non professional relationship with someone who is close to that client (APA, 2010). In fact, a pulled hamstring is one of the most common muscle pulls or muscle injury. Your hamstrings are a group of three muscles that help extend your legs at the hip and flex them at the knee. A pulled hamstring is a strain or tear in the muscles or tendons. To understand what causes a hamstring injury you have to know how muscles work. All muscles work in pairs to perform a task. One set of muscles contracts to exert force while the other set of muscles relaxes. The hamstring muscles located at the back of the thigh, work with the quadriceps muscle group in the front of the thigh. For enrolled students, a visit to the health center is free of charge with the exception of certain labs and x rays that ranges in costs. You can either walk in Monday through Thursdays between 8am 6pm and on Fridays from 8am 4pm. You can also schedule a same day appointment if you feel more comfortable with that. The health center offers a lot of services within the center including men s services, women s services, immunizations, laboratory, and many more, however, some of these services have underlying issues. The issues that I found within the Health Center are all centered around costs and fees, such as the women and men services and having an unfair costs between those services that are given. The Health Center also has more expensive prices for the services that they administer compared to other college campuses and they charge unnecessary costs to some of the laboratory tests. Lastly, students get charged the health fee for both semesters when they are not even using the resource, making it something that is benefitting everyone else but themselves. • 33. China s Power Generation Report China Power Generation China has no option but to continue using coal in generating electricity. Coal is the only viable resource in their disposal that can be used to generate electricity bearing in mind that in 2011 it was the largest coal producer, producing more than 3.5 billion metric tones of coal. This accounts for 135 of the worlds coal supply. Coal is used to fire 805 of China s power plants (Institute of Energy Research, 2013). There are other avenues that China can exhaust with regard to electricity generation like hydroelectric power. However, hydroelectric power has since lost its share in China s power generation market from 18% in 2010 to 12% in 2040(Institute of Energy Research, 2013). This comes even after hydroelectric power had injected an excess of 190 gigawatts of hydroelectricity generating capacity. This has relegated to the second position after coal (Institute of Energy Research, 2013). Nuclear power is ranked third. It is expected to add 149 gigawatts of nuclear capacity over 30 year projection into China s energy grid. The Fukushima incidence and other world nuclear incidences could be the reason why nuclear power is ranked lower relative to coal power. This may be because apart from the environmental concerns that have been associated with coal use it has never caused an incidence of a magnitude of a nuclear disaster. Use of wind is also gaining currency in electricity generation. However, it is still ranked fourth after nuclear power because it ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It is an important decision that requires thought and discussion among the entire family. Adopting a child is without a doubt a life changing experience that requires patience and dedication. This experience allows families to change a child s life who one day may have thought that they would never be loved. Ultimately, they learn to be comfortable with themselves. (Child Dev 1984). In conclusion, adopting is absolutely something to consider. The most important thing to remember is that every child needs a safe and loving home. Any family who believes that they can provide security, love and safety to a child in need should consider taking this role. It is an unforgettable, life changing experience not only for the parent but for the child as well. Parents have the opportunity to provide that child a normal life which would otherwise be missing. Some researchers say that adopted children who were once in a foster care tend to misbehave or act a certain way in order to create a feeling of rejection, anger, pain and abandonment in their parents. This testing behavior may actually indicate that the child feels comfortable enough with the parent to communicate his or her own true feelings. (Welf Info Gateway 2012). This is a positive reaction which only solidifies the strong bond that parents will be able to attain with the new member of the family. The benefits of adopting are endless, and will only gain love in a child s heart. Parents will absolutely bring tremendous joy to that child s life. One thing is true, and this is that no one will ever know unless they experience this. The Second Amendment s proclamation that A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed has been an extensive topic of debate. Moreover, the amendment has been one of many debates over the several years throughout America. The discussion of gun control is often debated as to whether or not it is morally right to legally bypass the Second Amendment to avoid unlawful uses of arms. The Second Amendment allows citizens to carry firearms specifically for protection, gun control hinders that right and places civilians lives in danger. In short, the U.S. government s intrusive restrictions on gun laws prevent law abiding citizens from defending themselves with firearms. The effects of gun control should abide with the Second Amendment. Although true, the Second Amendment is not an unlimited right to own guns. Notwithstanding, the Second Amendment allows the freedom to bear arms. The Second Amendment has never been interpreted as giving only states the right to peaceably assemble. Moreover, the Court did not address whether the Second Amendment applies to state and local governments. Even though the government chose to limit the rights of the people, the Second ... • 38. The Origin Of Modern Human Behavior The origin of modern human behavior is a subject in anthropology that accumulates much debate. Cognition is the dominant factor in such behavior, therefore raises the question, when did this separation of intelligent or modern thought from the primitive come to daily behavior for our genus? There are two such answers that hold experts in the field captive in debate: the rapid imagination revolution in the European centrailized Upper Paleolithic, and the steadiness of cognitive growth provided first in Africa during the Middle Paleolithic. Although each argument provides supportive evidence for their perspective claims, the more naturally convincing shows this creative revolution taking place much earlier than the Upper Paleolithic. This explanations human cognition developing with no brisk advantageous revolutionary response, and instead by gradual means. This metamorphosis follows the pattern of biological human evolution. My argument combats the imagination revolution claim to the origins of creativity using specific artifacts dated earlier than those of European restrictions. Furthermore, it is the lack of excavation in Africa and the conditions of the terrain itself that pose problematic preservation of artifacts, unlike in Europe, to exonerate this innovative exclusivity. These pieces of evidence in Africa exemplify a higher process of thinking, commonly those showing deliberate means of bead and rock art used for both personal functions of expression. If art ... Indian politicians believed that the objective of the policy for women s development should consist of a shift of attitude from one of compassion and welfare to that of treatment of women as equal partners with men, (Madhok). One way the Indian government promoted it was that nearly five years ago, the government brought in legislation reserving seats for women on panchayats, or councils which make decisions on every important decision in village political life. Originally the sole preserve of men, panchayats now have women members and leaders, who are slowly beginning to challenge feudal traditions and change the way the councils run. The society in India is beginning to accept women in high political positions. In this case, political culture plays a significant role since Indian society promotes the representation of women, and thus, it is a part of that nation s culture. Since Indian society supports more representation of women, or at least equal representation given the population size, political culture helps push the women s movement forward. Not only are there seats reserved for women on panchayats, or the local form of government, but there is a quota system present in all three tiers of government. Quotas are being introduced in countries that do not have a long history of mobilization of women and of women s integration ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Her results from testing indicate that her speech intelligibility is significantly reduced due to multiple phoneme collapses into /d/ of the following phonemes and consonant clusters: /p/, /g/, /k/, /s/, /z/, /θ/, /ð/, /tr/,and /gr/. In addition, the use of multiple phonological processes, including: final consonant deletion, initial consonant deletion, cluster reduction, vocalization, and deaffrication also significantly contribute to her reduced intelligibility. Her speech intelligibility in known context was calculated to be 64%, which is low for a child who is 3 years; 6 months(consider adding reference). Reduced intelligibility can impact a child s ability to communicate wants and needs, making Kara Lynn s speech intelligibility an area of need. Increasing Kara lynn s speech intelligibility will be the primary target of treatment. The multiple oppositions approach with maximally distinct targets will be utilized to treat Kara lynn s phoneme collapses into /d/. She collapses multiple phonemes into /d/ in word initial, medial, and final positions including some stops, fricatives, and consonant clusters. The multiple oppositions approach targets phoneme collapse by simultaneously contrasting the errored sounds with the target sounds .This helps the child recognize their own patterns of error and make widespread changes to their sound system as a whole(consider adding reference). ... Once the practice of organ donation by the genetically related and also by strangers, based on altruism, has been accepted as ethically sound the following components of organ removal stand morally vindicated. Here are 2 of which they are talking about: (a) A person s expectation to enjoy life with the help of organs belonging to others is valid, and(b) the breach of a donor s bodily integrity and the consequent harms are permissible. Judged on these values a person s act of severing his/her organ in order to liberate a fellow being from a terminal illness or to save his/her life cannot be dubbed as immoral simply because the act is accompanied by a reasonable material consideration. When a person sells an organ he or she acts both selfishly, in advantaging him or herself, and altruistically, in contributing to a public good. The presence of considerations is not a sufficient reason to transform a simple act into a sin. Otherwise, selling water to the thirsty would be an equally big sin in fact rather a bigger one (Marino 2002). Policies on organ transplantation reflect a unique social paternalism.
