General Franco ended democracy in 1936, establishing a dictatorship that lasted until 1975. After Franco died, Spain transitioned to democracy, establishing a constitution in 1978 that made Spain a parliamentary monarchy guaranteeing citizens' rights.
A Century of Great Change
Spain transitioned from monarchy to republic between 1902 and 1936. General Primo de Rivera established a dictatorship in 1923 after leading a military coup. Elections in 1931 led to a democratic republic, but conservative opposition supported a military coup led by generals Franco and Mola in 1936, beginning the Spanish Civil War. Franco ended democracy in 1939 and established a nearly 40-year dictatorship, abolishing the republican constitution and persecuting opponents. After Franco died in 1975, Spain transitioned to democracy, establishing a parliamentary monarchy and guaranteeing citizens' rights with a new constitution that held the first democratic elections in 1977.

- 7. THE SENSES ● Touch : The skin is the sensory organ that covers and protects our body . It has receptors that respond to stimuli such as pressure , temperature and pain
- 8. TASTE The sense of taste is located in the tongue wich has taste receptors that detect the flavours bitter , souch , sweet , salty , umam.
- 9. SMELL ● The nose is the organ of smell. The olfatory receptors perceive smells .
- 10. SIGHT ● Consists of the perception of images through our eyes. The eyes are the sensory organs of sight.
- 11. HEARING ● Hearing occurs when our ears detect and process sound . The sensory organs we use for hearing are our ears.
- 12. THE MUSCULOSKELETAL SYSTEM The musculoskeleton system allows us to move It has two elements : ● The skeleton supports our bodies and gives then a shape. It consists of bones and joins. ● The muscular system, which consist of muscles and tendons.
