I. OBJECTIVES Identify the reading ability of the grade 7 students
Measure the students reading comprehension level
A. Content Standard To evaluate the reading proficiency level of the students and to measure the students reading comprehension
level.
B. Performance Standard The students read the passage for there grade level and answer question about the passage read.
C. Learning Competency/Objectives
Write the LC code for each.

A. Reviewing previous lessonor presenting
the new lesson
Give the standards in oral and silent reading
Motivate the students to be interested in the passages that will make them at ease
Question: What are the things you do to improve your reading skills?
B. Establishing a purpose for the lesson Ready the materials needed in conducting the reading recovery program.
C. Presenting examples/Instances of the
new lesson
Distribute to the students the photocopy of the passages to be read. Let them accomplish all the personal
information. (Name, Grade, Section)
Students shall start reading at the same time.

F. Developing mastery

Ask students the accompanying questions about the story. (oral)
Students will write the letter of the correct answer on the spaces provided. (silent)
