Headmasters
objectives
• To make headmasters aware of the benefits our project has had in the school community by showing them
how changes in students lifestyle had improved school convivence and academic achievements.
• To “take the headmaster on our side” for future projects, so as to reassure his/her positive attitude and help
• More visibility to the school within the region
• To let our school become leader in training teachers of other schools in this subject
• To get the headmasters to allocate more time and resources to international projects
• Show the importance of projects like this one, increasing the motivation, and the self-esteem of the students
• To show healthy lifestyle of our students (photos, digital products) to keep informed any of the stakeholders of
the school.
• To make the headmasters organize trainings and workshops to spread the good practices and etwinning
action among the teachers of the school.
• To set an example of healthy lifestyle practices in the school, which will raise the school recognition in the
area
• To develop the whole approach to understanding the role of ICT in school and in the projects.
• To train the leading stuff in encouraging teachers to use ICT in teaching and learning projects more
systematically
Products / outcomes
• Survey among students taking part in the project before and after it.
• Conferences given by students taking part in the project (models) to younger students in the school/etwinning
mentors of the younger pupils
• Roundtable with younger students’ teachers some weeks after the conferences
• article(s) on the school website or in the school newspaper
• article(s) in the local press
• exhibition with all the produced materials at school at the end of the school year or at the end of the project or
both
• quotes from the students stressing their enthusiasm and desire in taking part in other projects
• blogs made by the students during the project
• a final presentation addressing the school community (students, other teachers, parents, local authorities) to
show/prove the impact in a tangible way. National/EU Quality Labels/Awards given to the students + Board of
Directors
• Survey among teachers who want to learn new practices and etwinning.
• A healthy meal prepared by the participants
• inviting the headmaster as guest to follow the project on Twinspace.
• Publication of instructions of good practices.
Messages
• Students were very motivated to work and really get involved in it. This carried out a change in their
behaviour which was extended to younger students. This improved school convenience and students
academic achievements
• “Towards excellence through etwinning collaboration”
• Students feel that what they are doing is important, it makes a change, their self-esteem will increase.
• Stress the impact of collaborative activities on students
• The students feel the need to be recognized as the healthy generation, the ones that take care of their
fitness and health. They feel motivated after accomplishing the task.
• The headmaster feels that students contribute to the process of education in great extend.
• The added value of the project: • new knowledge of practices in the field of leading for encouraging the use
of ICT in school
Resources
• Experts on this subject to share with a net of schools
• Some internet resources of prevention (any government have some in their prevention plans)
• etwinning ambassadors or awarded etwinners
• state authorities materials on health issues among teens
• documents/information from the National Health Service
• conferences with the school nurse or health experts
• In the beginning and in the and it is possible to take some sport or health tests. Because bad sleeping
habits, drinking, smoking and druging effects your health and your mind not to do as well as you possible
should do

Planning and tasks division
• Make some activities in the different subjects, and collect some digital data to use in the dissemination.
• Make a list of the activities done and show the headmaster in a seminar (for example) or a
report..(collaboratively in a drive document?)
• Each school taking part is responsible for at least one event presenting their project.
• powerpoint presentations during a Board of Governors with a focus on the language to be used, the explanation
of technical words, the quality of the presentation (colours, layout, visibility …)
• One or more of the schools involved will be in touch with the local press
• Each school is responsible to organize a short meeting to present the project to the headmaster
• One or more schools involved will create a short video (2-3 min) to present the project that can be used both in
the event at the end of the school year and in seminars

  • 3. objectives • To make headmasters aware of the benefits our project has had in the school community by showing them how changes in students lifestyle had improved school convivence and academic achievements. • To “take the headmaster on our side” for future projects, so as to reassure his/her positive attitude and help • More visibility to the school within the region • To let our school become leader in training teachers of other schools in this subject • To get the headmasters to allocate more time and resources to international projects • Show the importance of projects like this one, increasing the motivation, and the self-esteem of the students • To show healthy lifestyle of our students (photos, digital products) to keep informed any of the stakeholders of the school. • To make the headmasters organize trainings and workshops to spread the good practices and etwinning action among the teachers of the school. • To set an example of healthy lifestyle practices in the school, which will raise the school recognition in the area • To develop the whole approach to understanding the role of ICT in school and in the projects. • To train the leading stuff in encouraging teachers to use ICT in teaching and learning projects more systematically
  • 4. Products / outcomes • Survey among students taking part in the project before and after it. • Conferences given by students taking part in the project (models) to younger students in the school/etwinning mentors of the younger pupils • Roundtable with younger students’ teachers some weeks after the conferences • article(s) on the school website or in the school newspaper • article(s) in the local press • exhibition with all the produced materials at school at the end of the school year or at the end of the project or both • quotes from the students stressing their enthusiasm and desire in taking part in other projects • blogs made by the students during the project • a final presentation addressing the school community (students, other teachers, parents, local authorities) to show/prove the impact in a tangible way. National/EU Quality Labels/Awards given to the students + Board of Directors • Survey among teachers who want to learn new practices and etwinning. • A healthy meal prepared by the participants • inviting the headmaster as guest to follow the project on Twinspace. • Publication of instructions of good practices.
  • 5. Messages • Students were very motivated to work and really get involved in it. This carried out a change in their behaviour which was extended to younger students. This improved school convenience and students academic achievements • “Towards excellence through etwinning collaboration” • Students feel that what they are doing is important, it makes a change, their self-esteem will increase. • Stress the impact of collaborative activities on students • The students feel the need to be recognized as the healthy generation, the ones that take care of their fitness and health. They feel motivated after accomplishing the task. • The headmaster feels that students contribute to the process of education in great extend. • The added value of the project: • new knowledge of practices in the field of leading for encouraging the use of ICT in school

Resources • Experts on this subject to share with a net of schools • Some internet resources of prevention (any government have some in their prevention plans) • etwinning ambassadors or awarded etwinners • state authorities materials on health issues among teens • documents/information from the National Health Service • conferences with the school nurse or health experts • In the beginning and in the and it is possible to take some sport or health tests. Because bad sleeping habits, drinking, smoking and druging effects your health and your mind not to do as well as you possible should do • Research made by the project team on Internet. • interview • survey • case study • group discussions

Planning and tasks division • Make some activities in the different subjects, and collect some digital data to use in the dissemination. • Make a list of the activities done and show the headmaster in a seminar (for example) or a report..(collaboratively in a drive document?) • Each school taking part is responsible for at least one event presenting their project. • powerpoint presentations during a Board of Governors with a focus on the language to be used, the explanation of technical words, the quality of the presentation (colours, layout, visibility …) • One or more of the schools involved will be in touch with the local press • Each school is responsible to organize a short meeting to present the project to the headmaster • One or more schools involved will create a short video (2-3 min) to present the project that can be used both in the event at the end of the school year and in seminars • Observation activities • reflexion • team work • workshops.
