encryption of JPEG2000 compatible images. Though both stream and block cipher
have been investigated in the literature, but this chapter provides a detailed study of
block cipher as applied to images, since JPEG2000 generates various subband sizes
as blocks. In the first section, we briefly define various encryption components like
wavelettransform, bit plane decomposition, XOR operation, artificial neural network,
seed keygenerator and chaotic map functions, for interest of the reader. Later in
section 2, we present literature review of various encryption techniques from two
perspectives: applications to highlight scope of research in this domain; and
approaches to provide overall view of multimedia encryption. The section three
provides a new two layer encryption technique for JPEG2000 compatible images.
The first step provides a single layer of encryption using a neural network to
generate a pseudo random sequence with a 128 bit key, which XORs with bit planes
obtained from image subbands to generate encrypted sequences. The second step

Aim:
The aim of this experiment is to test each fuel (Ethanol, Hexanol and Octanol) by
using a spirit burner, tripod and beaker filled with water to determine which fuel
produces the most effective heat of combustion that is also safe to take camping. This
will be conducted by using a stopwatch to time the combustion of each fuel to
determine which fuels heats the water quickly, and what materials can be used to
minimise loss of energy when heat is being transferred from the flame to the water.
Hypothesis:
If 1 Octanol, Ethanol and 1 Hexanol are combusted with air to heat up water then
Octanol will produce the greatest heat of combustion (the largest change in enthalpy
using q=mcв€†T). This is because Octanol has the longest carbon chain and therefore
more energy required to break the bonds equals more energy being produced when
bonds are made.

Ever since the majority of the photography world switched from film to digital
imaging, the world of photoshop has become more user friendly than ever before. A
variety of different photo editing programs are widely used from free editing

be better than another in usefulness, I have found that Adobe s Lightroom is

used to automatically adjust the coloring and lighting within a photograph to a pre

photograph for a quick fix. Altering other elements of the photograph such as the
