The first thing you need to do with your camera is check the batteries. Some camera’s have rechargeable battery packs, others use standard batteries. Camera
Next you will need to check the memory card. Most cameras use memory cards. Check your slot to make sure you have some memory in it.  Camera
Now you are ready to turn on your camera. Find the on/off button and turn it on. Camera
Most digital cameras have two modes: Picture mode and preview mode. Let’s see how many pictures you have on your camera. Make sure your camera is in photo mode.  Camera
In the corner should be the number of pictures you have left. The bigger your memory card, the more pictures you will be able to take. Camera
Let’s take a picture. Your camera should still be in photo mode. At this point, your digital camera operates very similar to a regular camera. Point your camera and click the picture. Camera
Congratulations, you’ve taken your first digital picture. Camera
Now let’s take a look at the picture. Change your camera mode to preview picture mode. The last picture you took should appear on your screen. Camera
You can scroll through the other pictures you have taken by using the scroll buttons. If you find a picture that you don’t want to keep, press the menu button. Camera
When the menu appears on the screen, hit delete this picture. Now you’ve got the basics of using the camera. Camera
So you’ve got your camera filled with pictures, now what? Importing
Your camera came with a USB cable, one end of the cable plugs into your camera and the other goes into the computer. Go ahead and plug the camera in. Importing
It is important to turn on your camera now and put it into the preview mode, this allows the computer to recognize that the camera is attached. Now you are ready to plug in the USB cable into the computer. Importing
Give your computer some time, it should recognize your camera and ask you if you want to download the pictures. There are many choices of programs to use for your pictures. Many cameras come with software that allow your pictures to be brought in your computer with ease. Importing
Have your program import the pictures to your hard drive. The easiest place to put your pictures is in the my pictures folder in Windows. After your pictures are imported, go ahead and check the pictures out on the computer.  Importing
After you make sure your photos are on your computer, you can now delete the pictures from your camera. Hit the menu button and go to the delete photos section. This time you want to delete all the photos from the camera.  Importing
