This document analyzes and compares the digipak designs of albums by Arctic Monkeys, Jake Bugg, and Sia. For the Arctic Monkeys album AM, the digipak uses a black and white color scheme and waveform images to symbolically represent the band and be recognizable to fans. For Jake Bugg's album Shangri La, the simple images portray independence as the artist is alone with his guitar, reflecting his indie genre. Sia's album 1000 Forms of Fear uses a faded color scheme and shaky handwritten font to represent fear and something hiding behind the white lines of the CD design. The target audiences are generally adolescents and teenagers who can relate to the artists and music.
