2. Jessie J’s album advertisement I find quite bland apart from the
image used of her which I think very much suits her character
and the way she’s branded which is very fun and careless. The
image on her digipak cover is also parallel to her image in her
first music video ‘Do It Like A Dude,’ which people who will
come across both the music video and advertisement will
recognise. The advertisement also states her name, the name of
the album and classes it as her ‘debut album,’ which we may
also do as it will be our artists first construction of work. But
the bottom half of the advertisement is very plain compared to
the top half. The fact it also states a popular smash single is
included on the advertisement I do think is very good though
and we could do the same for our song ‘Wonderland’ after it
having been the song we made the music video to.
This digipak advertisement I think is a little bit better for it
states when the digipak is to be released, has a logo of the
company/store you can buy the digipak from ‘Amazon’ besides
some of the singles which recent fans may be aware of as they
would have most likely been promoted before the release of the
digipak. I also like the effect they’ve edited onto their image.
3. This digipak advertisement image I like because the font colour matches the gold glitter which has
been edited into her hair, it includes both the name of the artists and digipak album and it has
comments from music critics besides star ratings from them, which I believe encourages some people
to take interest in and maybe even buy the digipak, simply because they see a recommendation or
good star rating from a brand or source they recognise and trust.
4. These two digipak advertisement images for artists Daft Punk and Kanye West include the image they
have on the cover of their digipak/album, which I think we should consider reverting from maybe, by
again having an image of our artist but an in colour image where I am again covering my face with one
hand, making direct reference to our digipak cover and including some familarity.
Also the two images I would claim are quite simplistic compared to the previous two images on the last
slide and don’t include actual images of the artist. However, having a picture of the artists isn’t exactly
necessary because they are already extremely popular and well-established artist. Daft Punk’s digipak
image doesn’t even include when its been released nor any star ratings, only their name and record label
because they don’t require any thing else, they already have their fan base. Similar to Kanye, even
though his digipak does include the release date on the front of his advertisement which we should most
likely add to our advertisement.
5. Biff Clyro’s advertisement

magazine advertisement they have
included his name, the name of his
album/digipak and the date it will be
released, all of which are important
factors we must add when constructing
the image for our magazine
advertisement. As our artist is new we
will need to include his name because
he isn’t established enough and
recognisable as he wouldn’t have
released a digipak or other artists
images before hand.
We will also be adding the title of our
digipak for the same reason. The font
also matches that of the original
album/digipak as you can see, by using
only white and blue and the same text
style which is also important. The image
is also very captivating and the colours
of the font match the colours of the
actual image .they’ve used for their
digipak cover, being blue and white.
