genre.
1. We was really taken away with Lana Del Rey’s album
cover as the rose in her mouth creates an image in
your head already that she has an creative and
interesting persona just by that one bright coloured rose
within her mouth and due this quirky look it makes you
want to know what she’s about so the picture attracts
you to want to buy and listen to her album
• We would adapt the positioning of the shot as it
looks effortless striking also the lighting and
filter contrast of the picture, this picture
inspiration would either be part of the cover or
one of our inside picture within the digipak.
2. The album cover on the right is very eye catching as its
an very unusual album cover which would work well with our
artist as its not your usual album cover and our artist is not
your typical human as she is a quirky, outstanding individual.
On album covers ladies tend to make themselves look very
sexualised as they believe that is what would attract people to
their album and it would sell to both genders however in this
album cover she is the countertype as she looks very weird
and alienated due her hair being replaced by an globe with
musical essentials such as head phones and microphones
coming out of it but, the artist is being portrayed to being
naked so she still is stereotyping female artists although she
is not sexualizing herself but making herself come across as
strong and independent as she looks striking and powerful
due to the mid shot capturing the striking structure of her face.

3. These are album covers that we aspire our Album cover
for Giselle's new album. Each of these three album covers
have significant features we would love to adapt.
We love how this shot of Cassie has been taken as you are not able
to see her whole face which gives us as consumers the thought that
she is very secretive and you want to know what she is about. We
would adapt the half shot of her face for one of our inside pictures
for our digi pack as she look effortless and elegant.
Rihanna’s loud album cover is very inspiring to us as we love the fact that she does
not even have to look at you in order to get your attention also she looks effortlessly
sexy due to the mise-en-scene the make up as nice, luscious full red lips is seen as
being very sexy and attractive as the rest of her make up is plain and simple another
striking feature is her hair style as the fringe slyly covers her eye which give her that
mysterious look to her also the colour of her hair is really striking as its bright red
which shows confidence, independence and a rule breaker as she don’t stick to the
norm as society expects.
The half robot half human look is exactly what we would love our
album cover to resemble Christina Agulerias however we would
do the unhuman side as he face dolled up with the aluminous
paints and the other half of her looking very subtle and
mysterious look as it would go very well with the theme of the
album as we want it to show two sides of her and the name to be
‘which side do you like?’ and this look would compliment
the tile and strike out to people a lot.
