Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

2. Plot:
The plot is about a young girl who is suffering from mental relapses and distress, due to her killing
her boyfriend. The audience do not know she has done this or why she has from the trailer leaving
them guessing and hanging on with anticipation. After this tragic event the girl turns to God to look
for help.. But maybe she’s looking at the wrong side of religion?
What the trailer will consist of?
The trailer does not give much away as we don’t want it looking like an opening rather than an
exciting cliff hanger trailer. It will last roughly 1 minute 20.
What will the poster look like?
The poster will look very similar to the trailer and have some conventions from the trailer- we are
thinking the religious element of the trailer would be a good start with maybe the last clip of the
trailer the main image.
What will the magazine look like.
Our magazine is called ‘Flick’ due to that being connected with the name of films. We are having the
actress who plays the main character specialised as we think this is unique
3. Certificates:
The age certificate for our film is a 15. This is due to strong language, bloody scenes and
scenes that might frighten younger audiences. However we do not want it to fit into the 18
category because we think this limits the target audience which is 15+ as we have
conducted a survey asking if 18+ would watch a 15 film and they said yes.
Locations-
Locations would involve, the girls house and outside (castle ring).
