The document discusses the creation of logos for a production company and artist. For the production company logo, R.A.G. Productions, the creator used inspiration from other logos and designed the initials inside a circle with additional shapes in the background. For the artist logo, AVA K, the creator selected a font called "foxy" and experimented with color, size, and adding a shadow to make the text stand out. Screenshots show the editing process in Photoshop.
Abordemos este tema realizando un ejercicio de distinción acerca de la “gran
dualidad”: Ser y no ser. Entre el Ser, que es el Origen y el no ser, que es la manifestación;
este gran vacío, disponemos de escasos recursos para acercarnos a la realidad del Ser;

Everyone talks about OER Policy, but what does it mean? What do OER policies look like in practice? How do they impact OER initiatives? How does our government and our world perceive Open policy?
SBCTC invites you on a journey, one where you will explore different paths, each one reflecting on these questions through interviews with experts in various areas of OER.
These interviews are woven into a series of multimedia presentations on Open Education policy strategy, implementation, and vision.

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:
Bob Boule
Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. He comes with around 20 years of solution engineering experience in application security, software continuous delivery, and SaaS platforms. 3. DESIGNS FOR MY PRODUCTION
COMPANY LOGO
We have decided to name our production company R.A.G
Productions. We have chosen this from using the first
letter of each letter of our names, Robyn, Amy and Gemma.
I have gone onto the website ‘Dafont’ and downloaded the
font in which I liked best and put it onto Photoshop and
played around with the style and text. I have also included
print screens of my editing of the text on Photoshop.
Text curved into a
circle.
4. HOW I CREATED MY
PRODUCTION COMPANY LOGO
I created a text box and typed in the name of our
production company logo, R.A.G. I then made the font
bigger so that I could see the text better.
I went onto shapes and drew a circle, the
circle is going to go behind the text.
5. I changed the colour of the circle to a light blue. I
liked the colour and also it helped the text stand out
on top. I then right clicked the shape and clicked ‘Send
to back’ so that the text would come in front of the
shape.
I created another text box and added the word
‘Productions’ which I am going to add underneath the
R.A.G text.
I felt that the shape of the circle was a boring on its
own, I wanted to tie the colours in together and make
the bold blue circle stand out, I added a square shape
and the right clicked the shape and clicked send to
back so that was behind my text and circle.
8. DESIGNS FOR MY ARTISTS’
LOGO
After typing in ‘AVA’ onto google and
looking at the images there are some
logos with the same name that we
want to use. These logo’s can help
give me inspiration for me creating
my own logo.
I found the style font I
wanted to use from the
website ‘Dafont’ the name of
the font was called ‘foxy’ I
then downloaded this font
onto my computer.
9. HOW I CREATED ARTISTS’
LOGO
I created a new text box and then
typed in ‘AVA K’.
I went to select the font I wanted to
change the text to, foxy, once I
selected it the font changed. I then
made the font bigger so that I could see
the text better.
I then wanted to change the colour of my font, I
chose the colour ‘Black, Text 1, Lighter’, which was
more of a grey colour. I didn’t want to go with black
for my logo as every other artists’ logo I had looked
at was black.
10. I played around with the text outline, making the
font bold or keeping it as it was. I decided to keep
the font as it was as I preferred it this way.
I wanted to make the logo stand out without making
the text bold, I felt that the best way to do this was
by adding a shadow to the text. I went on the ‘Text
Effects’ tool and tried out the shadow in different
positions. The position I enjoyed the shadow cast was
off ‘Offset diagonal bottom right.’
