DESERTS BALANCE
INTERDEPENDENCY
AND THREATS
BALANCEINA DESERT
to maintain the balance in the desert .We need to be careful that
we do not break any chain, web etc.
Let me take a example of this food chain
here there are 4 organisms .a small shurb
shurb,rat,snake and falcon .
now In this this food chain let take a
example of rat.If we completely
hunt all the mice in the desert
Then there is going to be no food for the snake
and the snakes might die too and if snakes are
going die there is going to be no food for the
falcon and the falcon is going to die
INTERDEPENDENCE
Animals and plants could not survive in the
desert without each other. The relationship
between plants and animals is one of
interdependence. Animals seek food and shelter
through the desert plants and plants need
animals to help them pollinate and grow flowers.
According to scienctisist, animals are used in
both fertilizing and spreading plant seed
throughout the desert. These animals help to
maintain diverse plant life within the desert.
let me take a ex for cactus
cactus is a friend to many
animals in the desert. Its long
body stores water and many
small animals find refuge in the
shadow of the cactus
bats help the cactus by
gathering pollen from one part of
the plant and pollinating another
part, helping to create flowers for
the cactus
THREATS
 Climate change affects the desert just as it affects every other biome.
Deserts around the world have been warming at a rate of 8 degrees
Celsius every year. A rise in desert temperatures can dry out plants,
making them more vulnerable to wildfires, or they might simply die
due to a lack of moisture. Likewise, the animals that make the desert
their home may not be able to cope with the increased temperatures,
limiting their range or forcing them to migrate to cooler regions.
WHATCAUSESCLIMATECHANGE
 Deforestation
 Green house gases
 pollution
HOW CAN WE STOP IT
 Use solar cars instead of fuel cars
 Use renewable things
 Use solar electricity or wind electricity
 Use electric cooker instead of gas
 Plant trees
