The document provides an overview of supply chain management and its evolution. It discusses how supply chain management has evolved from a focus on materials management in the 1960s to today's integrated supply chains. Key developments include the introduction of MRP systems in the 1970s, MRPII/ERP systems in the 1980s-1990s, and current supply chain management systems that facilitate virtual integration across organizations. The passage also provides examples of Dell and Perdue's supply chains.

Dell Direct Model & Virtual Integration
The Dell Direct Model
Dell's award-winning customer service, industry-leading growth and financial performance continue to differentiate the company from competitors. At the heart of that performance is Dell's unique direct-to-customer business model.
"Direct" refers to the company's relationships with its customers, from home-PC users to the world's largest corporations. There are no retailers or other resellers adding unnecessary time and cost, or diminishing Dell's understanding of customer expectations. Why are computer-systems customers and investors increasingly turning to Dell and its unique direct model?
Dell taking maximum benefits from various competitive strategies to counter act the competitive forces prevalent in the PC market.
• Price for Performance. By eliminating resellers, retailers and other costly intermediary steps together with the industry's most efficient procurement, manufacturing and distribution process Dell offers its customers more powerful, more richly configured systems for the money than competitors.
• Customization. Every Dell system is built to order. Customers get exactly, and only, what they want.
• Service and Support. Dell uses knowledge gained from direct contact before and after the sale to provide award-winning, tailored customer service.
• Latest Technology. Dell's efficient model means the latest relevant technology is introduced in its product lines much more quickly than through slow-moving indirect distribution channels. Inventory is turned over every 10 or fewer days, on average, keeping related costs low.
• Superior Shareholder Value. During the last fiscal year, the value of Dell common stocks more than doubled. In 1996 and 1997, Dell was the top-performing stock among the Standard & Poor's 500 and NASDAQ 100, and represented the top-performing U.S. stock on the Dow Jones World Stock Index.

Four Ways that Technology is Remolding the Digital Supply ChainCognizant
Industry 4.0 ideals challenge supply chains to deliver advanced capabilities beyond those inherent in typical operating functions. Emerging digital technologies are enabling processes, partners, products and services to work harmoniously to enhance today’s highly interconnected and networked supply chain.
Leap Ahead In Your Retail Game With Digitalised Supply ChaineTailing India
The application of emerging technologies in supply chains can help organisations better fulfill the needs of their customers. Hence, this week, we are going to study on the changing efficiency of the logistics network in our Logistics Week Series. Here is our 1stpart of the series where we try to understand the impact of digitalisation on supply chain.
The role of manufacturing operations is the process of beginning a production process to a task of final assem-bly, with increased reliance on a significant number of supply chain participants who have differing objectives, perspectives and processes. However, an effective partnering between companies and their suppliers remains a key to lean supply chain management excel-lence. A lean supply chain offers competitive advantage to the suppliers, therefore the need for the Nigerian mar-ket to embrace the idea of lean based supply chain system. This paper examines the prospects of transforming from the traditional supply chain system to a lean supply chain system in Nigeria. But it is noted that the process could be tasking. It was observed that to succeed in lean supply chain management, organizations must be willing to share risks and rewards, and to build the underlying infrastructure to apply these tools. In this paper it was resounded that the rewards could be in-flaming as various benefits such as a stronger costumer, supplier relationship, increased competitive advantage with velocity of supply etc, applies. It is concluded that, to the Nigerian economy it will be increased cash flow from the costumers and increased market forces.
Global supply chains have been steadily growing in complexity for years – spurred by the proliferation of e-commerce and increasing consumer expectations (widely deemed the “Amazon Effect”). More recently, the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated those pre-existing dynamics and further highlighted the failings of a traditional, siloed, supply chain framework, as many companies found themselves underprepared and slow to respond to a shifting market environment. As a result, businesses have been motivated to re-evaluate their current technology and processes and are seeking solutions that emphasize visibility, adaptability, and automation across the supply chain.
At Catalyst Investors, we believe software and tech-enabled services enabling more efficient supply chain management are poised for outsized growth in the coming years. We are excited to meet and partner with growth stage companies that are driving forces behind more efficient supply chains.

Memorandum Of Association Constitution of Company.pptseri bangash
www.seribangash.com
A Memorandum of Association (MOA) is a legal document that outlines the fundamental principles and objectives upon which a company operates. It serves as the company's charter or constitution and defines the scope of its activities. Here's a detailed note on the MOA:
Contents of Memorandum of Association:
Name Clause: This clause states the name of the company, which should end with words like "Limited" or "Ltd." for a public limited company and "Private Limited" or "Pvt. Ltd." for a private limited company.

Registered Office Clause: It specifies the location where the company's registered office is situated. This office is where all official communications and notices are sent.
Objective Clause: This clause delineates the main objectives for which the company is formed. It's important to define these objectives clearly, as the company cannot undertake activities beyond those mentioned in this clause.

Liability Clause: It outlines the extent of liability of the company's members. In the case of companies limited by shares, the liability of members is limited to the amount unpaid on their shares. For companies limited by guarantee, members' liability is limited to the amount they undertake to contribute if the company is wound up.

Capital Clause: This clause specifies the authorized capital of the company, i.e., the maximum amount of share capital the company is authorized to issue. It also mentions the division of this capital into shares and their respective nominal value.
Association Clause: It simply states that the subscribers wish to form a company and agree to become members of it, in accordance with the terms of the MOA.
Importance of Memorandum of Association:
Legal Requirement: The MOA is a legal requirement for the formation of a company. It must be filed with the Registrar of Companies during the incorporation process.
Constitutional Document: It serves as the company's constitutional document, defining its scope, powers, and limitations.
Protection of Members: It protects the interests of the company's members by clearly defining the objectives and limiting their liability.
External Communication: It provides clarity to external parties, such as investors, creditors, and regulatory authorities, regarding the company's objectives and powers.
https://seribangash.com/difference-public-and-private-company-law/
Binding Authority: The company and its members are bound by the provisions of the MOA. Any action taken beyond its scope may be considered ultra vires (beyond the powers) of the company and therefore void.
Amendment of MOA:
While the MOA lays down the company's fundamental principles, it is not entirely immutable. It can be amended, but only under specific circumstances and in compliance with legal procedures. Amendments typically require shareholder

Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

Putting the SPARK into Virtual Training.pptxCynthia Clay
This 60-minute webinar, sponsored by Adobe, was delivered for the Training Mag Network. It explored the five elements of SPARK: Storytelling, Purpose, Action, Relationships, and Kudos. Knowing how to tell a well-structured story is key to building long-term memory. Stating a clear purpose that doesn't take away from the discovery learning process is critical. Ensuring that people move from theory to practical application is imperative. Creating strong social learning is the key to commitment and engagement. Validating and affirming participants' comments is the way to create a positive learning environment.
