This document discusses the University of Derby's efforts to improve support for their online learners. It provides background on the university's online learning program which enrolls over 2,800 students. The university recognized that its online learners did not have equitable support compared to on-campus students. Over time, the library services took incremental steps like creating instructional videos, developing an online reading list, and conducting a student survey. Based on survey results, the library aimed to enhance support through webinars, an online support charter, and ensuring resources meet online students' needs.
