This document summarizes a project called The Food Safety Market (TheFSM) that aims to create a transparent data-powered certification ecosystem for a safe food supply chain. TheFSM is a 36-month, €4.8 million project involving 11 partners from 9 EU countries and 2 non-EU countries. It will involve 10 pilot programs in 10 countries to test and improve a data platform and software tools to boost competitiveness in European food certification. One partner, AGRIVI, will release an updated farm management system to allow producers to exchange certification data with inspectors and buyers through the data platform.

8. AGRIVI’S role
For TheFSM project AGRIVI will be releasing a new
version of an existing farm management system
(AGRIVI 2.0) to serve producers that wish to exchange
certification-relevant data with their inspectors and
buyers, through simple, automated and robust data
exchange workflows that respect their data ownership
and rights.
