Dijla Co. For Food Industries is a Jordanian company established in 2010 that manufactures meat products. They tested the FoodAkai application to digitize their food safety data. The benefits of digitization include enhancing brand credibility with customers, gaining market access, improving supplier standards, and providing information for due diligence. Through the pilots, Dijla learned the application's predictive features help identify common product hazards to improve inspection frequency. However, clearer data policies and connecting suppliers to the application's raw material analyses would improve it.

 Information is required for food safety decision-
making by all stakeholders in the food system
continuum— from primary producers through to the
consumer and all the actors in between, including risk
assessors, policy-makers and communicators. Despite
the increasing complexity of food systems, digital
technologies are permitting the collection of an
unprecedented amount of data from a virtually
unlimited number of points along and around the food
chain.
 The enhanced understanding of factors contributing
to the occurrence, survival, and transmission of
foodborne hazards allows for the development of
new, more effective, risk mitigation interventions.
 The sharing of digital information will introduce a new
level accountability among actors at all stages of the

they provide and connect them to these analysis.
