Technology-enabled learning aims to increase access to quality education through supporting policy and innovation using information and communication technologies. Two models for technology integration are described: TPACK, which identifies the knowledge teachers need to effectively teach with technology, including technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge. The Technology Integration Matrix defines five levels of integrating technology into curriculum from entry to transformation.

the application of ICT in education, and the
development of ICT skills.

The interconnected circles indicate that the optimum
or goal is the interplay of content, pedagogical and
technical knowledge. Teachers can have technical
knowledge (TK), pedagogical knowledge (PK), or
content knowledge (CK) but when each of these is
present within the teaching sphere, then efficacy is
achieved.

TIM, illustrates how teachers can use technology
to enhance or enable learning for K to 12
students.

Adoption – The teacher directs students in the
conventional use of tool-based software. If such
