Arcelor Mittal, Slab and Combi-Caster Operation Investigation, Indiana Harbor MI
Assisted in field work in an investigation of slab caster emergency water valves and piping. Field
work involved walking down lines and marking up existing P&ID’s for correct line and valve sizes.
Generated reports detailing the slab caster’s operation including observations and hypothesis of why
the emergency water system was not functioning properly.
Haverhill, Expansion Joint Investigation / Modifications, Indiana Harbor, MI
Created pipe stress models with Caesar Stress Analysis Software for process piping and associated
expansion joints. Analyzed stress models on piping supports and expansion joints.
Cristal Global, Ash 2 Growth Project, Ashtabula, OH
Created specifications, equipment lists, datasheets and preliminary drawings for process equipment
for the production and packaging of TiCl4 and derivatives. Equipment includes vibrators, filters,
vaporizers, and vessels.
Assisted in field work and created Caesar pipe stress models to analyze existing TiCl4 Vaporizer
process piping supports and pressure relief valve design.
Husky Lima Water Reuse Project
Assisted in creating equipment and piping layouts, tie-ins, and isometrics drawings using AutoCAD
Plant 3-D, Navisworks, and PDF Bluebeam software.
