This document contains the weekly lesson plan for a Level 1 English class taught by Cristina Avendano during the second quarter. The plan outlines the following activities for each day: Monday - Students will take a practice spelling quiz and work on reading from their book. They will also prepare for an in-class debate by researching a topic and outlining their arguments. Tuesday - Students will participate in a spelling dictation contest and have 30 minutes of reading from their English books. Wednesday - Students will review concepts from the unit through games and another dictation activity. They will also complete a learning portfolio, assessing their own progress and selecting favorite activities. Thursday - Students will read from their English books for
