This paper experimentally investigates the performance of a household refrigerator using water-cooled and air-cooled condensers, demonstrating that the water-cooled option improves efficiency and reduces energy consumption by 8% to 11%. The study reveals that the modified refrigerator can generate approximately 200 liters of hot water daily, which can be utilized for various household applications. The findings indicate that retrofitting with a water-cooled condenser not only enhances refrigerator performance but also allows it to function as a water heater.
