x For this module, within my university degree, groups are required to operate as real startup businesses. We created a
web-based tutoring service platform based in the United Kingdom.
x As Business Manager, I oversaw all aspects of the hypothetical business including resourcing, finance, profit and loss
accounts, market research, sales, advertising, cash flow forecasts, human resources and our operations.
x I created an elevator pitch for our potential investors.
x I organized and led the development of both our business model and our business plan.
April 2012-April 2013 St Andrews Volleyball Club – Social Secretary, Fundraiser & Publicity
x Secured sponsorship deal with Rascals Bar St Andrews, which included hosting regular socials in return for weekly match
teas.
