A young, driven communications professional with valuable experience of building messages
for both internal and external use who has a passion for embodying brand and business beliefs
into all aspects of communication.
An outgoing individual with excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills with
the ability to influence key stakeholders within the business. Works effectively with others in
understanding what message they want to deliver and how this can be integrated with the

Experienced in rolling out new communication platforms and initiatives to a multi-cultural
audience through working experience in a European role, working in Western and Central &
Eastern Europe.
Major Achievements
• One of a team of two individuals who rolled out a new web-based communication
platform to over 150 stores in Western and Central & Eastern Europe In a 6 month
period when working for Nike EMEA. This rollout has streamlined communications and
the platform has allowed for stores around Europe to receive pertinent information at
pertinent times more efficiently.
• Part of an event organization and execution team who flew 170+ individuals from
Western Europe to Nike’s World Headquarters in Portland, Oregon for an annual
conference lasting 5 days. The successful execution and planning of this event
produced very positive feedback.
• Successfully rolled out a Global Communication Style Guide to European Store
Operations, ensuring consistent and professional communications are sent from the
department.

Working Experience
Store Communications Intern – Nike EMEA (November 2011 – Present)
• Responsible for delivery of messages from various departments within Nike’s European
Headquarters to over 150 stores around Western and Central & Easter Europe. Working
with key stakeholders in finance, operations, marketing, product presentation and the
leadership team to ensure consistent and effective communications are produced.
• Part of a team of two who rolled out a new communications platform to the 150+ stores
in the geography. This web-base tool has streamlined communications and has allowed
for communications to be sent on a more regular basis to one central point for our
stores.
• Organized and executed the Western Europe Head Coaches (store manager)
Conference 2012 in Portland, Oregon. Our team flew 170+ individuals over to the US
and organized a 5-day conference including travel, accommodation, food and all
activities, presentations, workshops and night-events throughout this time.
Fan Engagement Journalist & Business Development Executive – fcbusiness (February
2011 – October 2011)
• Through analysis of business theory and best practice at clubs I wrote a series of
articles surrounding customer relationship management and more precisely fan
engagement and satisfaction in football. This included two articles adapting business
theory to the football industry and an in-depth case study on Manchester City.
• Organically marketed and revolutionized a subscription package aimed at business who
work within the football industry leading to the production of the fcbusiness Trade
Directory published and produced in 2011.
Marketing & Corporate Intern – Newcastle Falcons Rugby Club (January 2010 – April
2010)
• Assisted the Marketing Manager in all aspect of direct to consumer marketing in the
rugby industry. This included writing match reviews for websites, up-selling tickets prior
to match-days and looking after clients needs on match days.
Personal Interests & Additional Information
In Summer 2010 I had the opportunity to go travelling in central Europe with 3 friends. I had an
amazing experience travelling around Croatia, Italy & Greece. Learning about different cultures
and organising day to day activities and plans is something I thoroughly enjoyed and have
maintained an interst in.
Since beginning my Internship at Nike I have developed a strong interest in training,
running and cycling inparticular. I train on a daily basis and this Summer I am using this new
found interest to complete the Coast2Coast Bike Ride in the UK (Whitehaven to Sunderland) to
raise funds for a local charity, Zoe’s Place.
