CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Co-curricular activities are those
activities that are outside of but
usually complement the regular
curriculum. Co-curricular activities,
in general, are extracurricular
activities that take place outside of
the classroom setting. These are
only tangentially related to actual
classroom work. Although these
activities are not included in the
curriculum, they are included in the
syllabus.

IMPORTANCE OF CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Help students to develop problem-solving,
reasoning, critical thinking, creative
thinking, communication, and collaborative
abilities.
Improves social skills and
relationship building. Students
frequently engage in co-curricular
activities with students from other
grades, which aids in the
development of interpersonal skills
and, in many cases, long-term
friendships.
Teach students how to efficiently
manage their time, prioritize among
competing responsibilities, and
handle problems creatively and
innovatively.
Students' self-esteem can be
boosted significantly when they
achieve success or are rewarded
for their contributions to a co-
curricular activity.

PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT AND CO-
CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Co-curricular activities aid in the
development of numerous aspects
of the mind and personality, such
as intellectual, emotional, social,
moral, and artistic growth. The
sum of an individual's reactions
and interactions with others is his
or her personality.
Co-curricular activities help you
study by inspiring creative
thinking, strengthening your social
and organizational skills, fostering
your interests and talents, and
allowing you to unwind and do
something you enjoy. This helps in
developing one's self-personality.
