PRINCIPLES OF ORGANIZING CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

•These are the activities through which a learner explores ones
abilities, develops the strengths and eradicates the
shortcoming through informal guidance, observation and self
assessment.
•The activities undertaken to strengthen the classroom
learning as well as other activities both inside and outside the
classroom to develop the personality of the child
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
IMPORTANCE OF CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:
•This gives them confidence
•Students can learn team spirit
•Bring a positive change in the child
•Students will get a chance to sharpen their talent
•To develop the all-round personality of the students
•Co-curricular activities are to keep the students physically
active

•It enhances the inner confidence
•To make the students fit for the future time
•Enhance social interaction, healthy recreation, self-discipline

•Physical activities like running, football etc help not only in the physical
fitness they also refresh the burdened mind
•Teacher must be a good planner
•The teacher should act as Innovator
•The teacher should give more and more opportunity to
the child while performing co-curricular activities
•Increase physical stamina
•Students can learn new things
•Betterment of communication skills
•Helps to develop the spirit of healthy competition
•Games and sports help to be fit and energetic to the child
•It enables the students to express themselves freely through debates
There are thirteen main kinds of co- curricular activities
