ARTIFACT5: Reflective Summary
PPST STRAND:7.4 - Professional reflection and learning to improve practice
They said, “Teaching is the noblest profession among professions”. Being
in the field of this profession, it’s normal that we can encountered different
problems and situations through the course of our journey in making things
to be possible despite of every challenges.
This school year seems to be the one of the toughest battles that a teacher
should be won. Pandemic hampered the existing educational system and
changed it to a new normal way of teaching. Though this is not new for us,
but this challenged lifted our self in engaging such new optimistic view in
developing our imagination to become reality.
While I’m doing this compilation of my artifacts, I’m proud that I was able
to slowly adapt things that it is not normal in our system as a teacher. Though
I struggled because of our situation nowadays where we are in the midst of this
Covid19 pandemic. I gained new knowledge, skills and positive mindset that
are necessary in this new way of teaching and learning process.
I learned to extend my patience, understanding and extended my help to
my colleagues. For me, this is not just a course, it is a life learned lessons that
a teacher can use to achieve his/her goals as a teacher this new normal.
Despite of these challenges I have encountered every day, I am grateful to
DepEd for the opportunity and chance to attend this kind of course. It served
as my weapon to do my job confidently and efficiently.
