The document describes changes made to a movie poster design. Various elements were added, moved, or modified, including logos, images of the antagonist, and the release date. Photographs were used to set an eerie atmosphere. The screen was changed from a laptop to a TV to de-emphasize product placement. Overall the revisions were aimed at making components more impactful and telling the story of the film more effectively through visual elements.

2. The first thing I did was the small print for the
poster. I used the small print behind my Harry
Potter DVD as a guide on what to write since I
didn’t really know what to include. Instead of
writing it directly onto Photoshop I decided to write it out on word, and then copy and paste
it later.
In order to prevent this section from looking too repetitive ,I decided to alternate between my
surnames . In addition to this I also decide to make up some subsidiaries for our
company and use some of the logos that I created previously while trying to find the right
one for the company, to represent them.

3. These are the two logos I picked out from the set of
spare logos that I have. I chose these two after
looking at the different departments mentioned in the
small print and seeing if there were any that were
suitable for the logos i already had.
After placing them onto my poster i realised that there
was too much white at the bottom so I applied some
changes to make them look different and suit the
poster better. For example I added a red over layer
onto the Pandora Pictures Music one.

4. At the start of creating my poster, I tried to follow the
idea behind the draft I drew earlier.
I used photographs of the location in the background
in order to create an eerie atmosphere within the
poster as well as set the scene. Out of the two
location we filmed in I only used the cemetery
because that is were the climax of the movie
takes place, plus its a conventional horror film
location.

5. I decided to print screen images of the antagonist from
two significant scenes in our film to use in my poster
instead of just one like in the draft.
At first I placed the antagonist on the top left of the poster, like on the draft.
However she didn’t really stand out like I thought she would, so I decided to
look for a more suitable place for the image where it would leave a bigger
impact on the public.
I placed both images on the edges of Rebecca's silhouette in the centre of the
poster for various reasons.
• The ripped paper at the edges suggest a link between the two, they are apart
but they were once one.
• Shows the two sides of Amber.
• The fact they are placed on each of Rebecca’s shoulder suggests that they are
someone that Rebecca’s trusts but are going to do betray her.
I also added a splash of blood on top of the images to hide their
identity and signify that they are a threat, which wasn’t
included in the draft.
