Cyrogens are Great Improvements to Electrochemical Battery...
Cryogens are effective thermal storage media which, when used for automotive purposes, offer
significant advantages over current and proposed electrochemical battery technologies, both in
performance and economy. An automotive propulsion concept is presented which utilizes liquid
nitrogen as the working fluid for an open Rankine cycle. The principle of operation is like that of a
steam engine, except there is no combustion involved. Liquid nitrogen is pressurized and then
vaporized in a heat exchanger by the ambient temperature of the surrounding air. The resulting high
pressure nitrogen gas is fed to the engine converting pressure into mechanical power. The only exhaust
is nitrogen.
The usage of cryogenic fuels has significant advantage over other fuel. Also, factors such as
production and storage of nitrogen and pollutants in the exhaust give advantage for the cryogenic
fuels.

The importance of cars and usage also and not only the cars but also other automobile vehicle which is
in the present world is increasing day by day. There are various points and terms that influence the
choice of the car. This includes the efficiency, performance, fuel, pollution, emission which came
during the combustion etc. As the prices of fuel (gasoline fuel, diseal ad others) are increasing and the
availability and presence is decreasing we have to go for alternative choice.
Here I am going to tell you an automotive propulsion concept is presented which utilizes and use the

Women During World War Two
I think a lot of women said, Screw that noise. Cause they had a taste of freedom, they had a taste of
making their own money, a taste of spending their own money, making their own decisions. I think the
beginning of the women s movement had its seeds right there in World War Two. President Franklin
D. Roosevelt s quote clearly illustrates the significance of women in the workforce during World War
Two and the feelings women may have felt. World War II was crucial for women in the workforce
because it was the first time the government needed women in the workforce to replace men in their
jobs, while they were away at war. Although, women had some involvement in the First Great War,
there was no greater demand for women to the workforce then during World War Two. Although
women played a crucial role in the successes of the Second Great War, society had varying opinions
and outlooks revolving around women s involvement in the workforce. Not everyone was supportive
of women s involvement in the labor force because of the stereotypes formed many years previous to
World War II regarding women being simply homemakers and working only in their homes, or very
seldom as secretaries. This view of women caused many problems for women in the workforce and it
continues to be a problem for women today. It is evident while looking at this particular time in
history, that there were varying views of women being a part of the workforce; it is clear that there are
people who thought

Taylor Swift s Song Shake It Off
A poem is a piece of writing that arouses strong emotions because of its beauty. Poems can be
expressed in both a speech and a song. The famous pop/country artist, Taylor Swift, expresses her
poems in the form of songs. Her poems are written in a modern literature. She contributes to this
literature because she writes her songs based on what is going on in the modern world and in her life.
This is especially noticeable in her song, Shake it off. In this song she describes how people spread
rumors and that you need to just let them go. This relates to the world today because bullying is a huge
factor in today s society. This poem offers readers different ways to deal with being gossiped about or
bullied. It also shows that being yourself ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The form of the poem, Shake it off, is written in a closed form and is written in the form of a lyric
poem. It is written in a closed form because it follows a regular rhythm. It is in the form of a lyric
poem because it portrays the thoughts and feelings of the writer and does not tell a story. This is
present in stanza six when Swift says, I never miss a beat/ I m lighting on my feet/ And that s what
they don t see, mmm mmm/ That s what they don t see, mmm mmm (Swift). This example shows how
the poem is written in a closed form because of the rhythm, rhyme, and meter. It also shows that it is a
lyric poem because Swift talks about her feelings in first person. The form of the poem is written in a
closed form to help the reader distinguish a certain pattern or sound. It is written as a lyric poem
because Swift wants to talk about her feelings in a way that the reader can recognize a certain beat to
allow them to find reading the poem interesting. This is portrayed in stanza eleven when swift says,
My ex man brought his new girlfriend/ She s like Oh, my god! but I m just gonna shake./ And to the
fella over there with the hella good hair/ Won t you come on over, baby? We can shake, shake, shake
(Swift 2014). This example shows the rhythm that the poem has to let the reader know that it is
written in a closed form. It also shows the type of form the poem is written in. It does this by

Babysitting Essay
An anonymous speaker once said, Children are great imitators. So give them something great to
imitate. Although many people have never done it, babysitting can be considered a difficult task for
many. Individuals who feel babysitting is effortless rarely consider that the babysitter must often take
on multiple roles at one time. Babysitters must: watch the children without ever becoming frustrated,
get to know the those being watched because not every kid is the same, or they may even become the
driver or the cook for the night. Babysitting is different for every child and babysitter, and different
families have different rules. One of the first things someone should do when preparing to babysit is to
get instructions from the parent. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Not to mention, if the sitter must make supper, this gives the sitter new ideas of what to fix or order
for the night. After this, depending on the night, the babysitter should see if the children have any
homework and see if they need help with it. The sitter should make sure the kids know they can go to
them if they need help. This is an important step to make sure the young ones know they can go to
their guardian if they have an issue. This will also help create a bond between the babysitter and
young ones. This will show the parents how responsible someone can be a positive influence. Also, it
is important to note that the sitter should make sure to not get frustrated with the children and always
give warnings before any disciplinary action is made. The fourth step of babysitting is asking the
young ones what they would like to do for the night. It is important to the children know that they
have options for the night and it will not be boring for them. Some kids do not have someone to hang
out with or be around unless it is at school, so it is important to make the night special for them and be
genuinely interested in the things they do. Making the kids happy and their night enjoyable is one of
the most important things when watching kids because a child s smile, and laughter can be one of the
best sounds a person can hear. Even if they ask to be alone, the sitter should always make sure they are
nearby because they could be

Implementing Observational Learning
The following essay provides the reader with a cursory understanding of observational learning and
how it may be implemented within the classroom. The paper first explores a workable definition of
observational learning primarily through the concept of modeling and vicarious learning. The second
part discusses the roles of the teacher and environment. The paper then discusses how observational
learning may be used to teach positive attitudes and effective thinking skills, also achieved through
vicarious learning. Scaffolding , a learning strategy that utilizes observational and vicarious learning is
explored in the last section of this paper.
Observational learning is basically learning by watching others, referred as models. There are ... Show

This is referred as vicarious reinforcement, whereas vicarious punishment occurs when a student
observes a peer facing consequences for a behavior that the observer is also doing. The peer facing a
consequence essentially forces the observer to also stop behaving in a similar fashion. Vicarious
extinction occurs when the observer notices that a behavior does not produce the desired result,
therefore they cease the behavior (Vockell, 2004).
The integration of observational learning would begin with the teacher. The teacher may be the
primary role model in the classroom environment, hence it is imperative to project positive behaviors
and qualities and refrain from behaviors and attitudes that tend to diminish opportunities towards
intellectual, social and developmental growth within each student (Vockell, 2004). The classroom
environment is also taken into consideration. Environmental factors may affect outcomes related to
modeling techniques. The idea is to limit the potential effects of sensory stimuli, such as when closing
doors to the classroom in order to lessen external noise or distractions.
Attitude and thinking skills can be learned vicariously, [C]hildren develop a large number of thinking
strategies by imitating the ways their peers think. Teachers can exploit opportunities for observational
learning of attitudes and thinking skills related to academic subjects.

Themes of Founding Brothers
The preface in Founding Brothers shows a theme of History throughout. Knowing that this book is a
history novel this theme stands evident. The preface shows how the book will take on the history of
the American Revolution and shortly afterwards. It also shows the two fundamental party s of United
States Government, the Federalists and Republicans. The author deems this point in American history
the most important stating, ... They were actors in a historical drama written by the gods. (Ellis 3). In

presidential race leaving Jefferson as the Vice President. Even though Jefferson and Adams had their
obvious physical differences, Adams was short and chubby while Jefferson was tall and slender, they
became close friends while in office together. In the early elections the main criteria was revolutionary
war status. Adams had the upper hand their because he had dedicated his entire life to the revolution.
The one concept that the two disagreed on was the decision of a monarchical power. Adams oddly
liked the idea of a president that could run for as many terms as he pleases. He even thought of calling
the president His Majesty which led Jefferson to disagree. Jefferson said thing that made Adams
infuriated, eventually the two set their differences aside and we re friends again. This chapter follows

The Once Open And Airy Plane Of Earth Now
The once open and airy plane of Earth now stood boxed in. Evolved into what our modern day society
called utopia . Skyscrapers littered the sky. Not a single piece of dirt was left showing amongst the
concrete blocks and buildings. Cars drove themselves, and buildings were constructed in hours rather
than months. The once true utopia of Earth now taken over by human greed. Of course I couldn t say
anything against it. I was born and raised in this world. Never seeing the lush green trees that lined the
horizon. The deep blue ocean, lapping up at the golden beaches. My world was grey and mundane,

How Do The Arts Affect High School Students
Art Programs are Fundamental to Education.
While many people believe that the arts are not a necessity for the school curriculum and that it has no
effect on students academic achievements, it actually plays a big part in it. The arts have a great
influence on students academic results as well as the students overall. Art programs are a necessity to
schools as it helps at risk students as well as regular students. New research has proven that the arts
help at risk students have better academic results as well as help them become more civically engaged
among other things. Independent studies have shown that high school students who are enrolled in art
classes tend to have higher math and verbal SAT scores than the latter students who do not. Other
studies have shown that major art areas that include visual arts, dance, drama, music, and ... Show

depending on the art course being taken by the students. Students who took acting/play production or
music theory courses had the highest math scores and the highest verbal scores as well.(Vaughn,

well. Research conducted reveals that art learning experiences alter the attitudes of young people
toward themselves and others and that students involved in theater arts show gains in reading

David Role Model
Lastly, I find David as an important role model in the Old Testament, as well as Abraham because he
was a King, a man after God s own heart, a unifier, a warrior, and a man with great flaws. David had it
all, musical talent, physical strength, and boundless bravery. David reigned as king of Israel for forty
years, dying at age 70 in 837 BCE. His first and foremost drive was to have a relationship with God.
David was chosen especially by God, for the Lord commanded Samuel to look for him saying, Do not
consider his appearance or his height (1 Samuel 16:7). Upon Samuel s anointing of David, the
scripture notates, And from that day on the Spirit of the Lord came upon David in power (1 Samuel
16:13). David was also known as a great conqueror, as in the incident with Goliath when he makes a
great triumph by cutting off Goliath s head with Goliath s own sword. David trusts God against all
odds, and to whom God gives great success. David was described as a man after God s own heart (1
Samuel 13:14). The Old Testament not only displays David s heroic deeds, such as ... Show more

All Christians are offered a kingdom, just as David was offered a kingdom. The kingdom is your own
life, which is like the instance of the kingdom of Israel. There are enemies compromising it from the
outside; the enemies threatening from within to sabotage it. King David of Israel was never able to
eliminate the Philistines, the Ammonites, the Jebusites, the Perizzites and all the others. This forms a
picture for us of those internal enemies that threaten to undermine and eradicate control that God aims
for us to have, as we struggle and learn to control throughout in life by Jesus Christ. The only
difference is we call our enemies jealously, lust, envy, resentment, bitterness, anxiety, and worry along
with all the other negative emotions or feeling that we may encounter in our daily walk through

Affordable And Adequate Health Insurance For Children
History
Affordable and adequate health insurance for children in the United States a vital public good.
Research indicates that children who have health insurance have better health outcomes in their
childhood, adolescence and adulthood. (cite). During the mid 1900 s there were more 11 million
uninsured children in the United States (Institute of Medicine, 1998). In what yr Senators Edward
Kennedy and Orrin Hatch worked together to introduce a bill to provide healthcare insurance for
children (Milliigan, 2009). Initially, their bill was not passed because it did not work in accordance
with the existing Balanced Budget Act. After much deliberation, in 1997, Congress enacted State
Children s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) in order to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Funding for SCHIP is from both the federal government and the state government. To finance the
policy it was based on Federal Medical Assistance Program (FMAP) Explain this part better I don t
understand). FMAP was deisigned as an incentive for the states to expand the health insurance for
children based on Medicaid, Congress came up with an enhanced federal matching rate for SCHIP at
15% points higher than the Medicaid rate. For example, if a state has a 50% match rate for Medicaid,
it would receive a 65% match rate for Medicaid for SCHIP. (cite) The policy has cost the federal
government almost $40 million over a ten year span. The federal government grants and allocates the
funds for SCHIP based on the number of uninsured children in families whose income is below the
federal poverty level (FPL). The individual states are responsible for implementing the program based
on analysis of ineligibility, enrollment and disenrollment.
Strengths
SCHIP has made notable achievements. An important strength is the flexibility afforded to the states
in executing the policy which led to positive reception and acceptance of the program. The
significance of states latitude over program design, gives states the ability to design the program based
on the inordinate needs of children in that state. Additionally, not every state has the same needs and
political realities to overcome.

assignment to Eglin was significant because, other than my deployment, it was the most demanding
job I have had so far. As often is the case, we grow the most when under duress. My civilian
supervisor really aided me in the maturation process. She asked a lot of her Lieutenants, but she was
always sure to equip you with the tools you needed to be successful. For example, anytime we had a
budget brief to the Wing Commander, she selected me to brief. That really paid dividends for my
confidence. She also made me the staff analyst for the MSG and Wing Staff. This provided me great
opportunity to work daily with the Resource Advisors (RAs) down at the group and squadron levels. It
benefited me greatly to sit down with the SFS, MSS, and LRS RAs and commanders and get their two
cents on how budget cuts and resource constraints were impacting their squadrons. She also ensured
her folks were recognized for achievement. She took award nominations very seriously, and used them
as teaching tools. She would have me do the initial draft, then sit with me and provide feedback. This
was a great example of leadership. The work she

The dermis layer is connected to the blood and lymph supply as well as the nerves, unlike the
epidermis layer. The dermis contains sweat and sebaceous glands, hair follicles and many living cells.
It is made of connective tissue, mainly areolar tissue which is tough and elastic, and contains white
collagen fibrous connective tissue and yellow elactic connective tissue otherwise known as elastin.
Collagen plumps the skin and elastin keeps it supple and elastic. Both of which diminish with age. The
dermis contains eight main types of structure:
1) Specialised cells
Fibroblasts: responsible for the production of areolar tissue, collagen and elastin. Fibroblasts can be
damaged by ultraviolet light.
Mast cells: produce histamine as an allergic response and heparin, an anti coagulant.

Afghanist The Struggle Of The Taliban
Afghanistan is a very unstable country. It struggles socially, economically and politically. A big reason
why they struggle is the Taliban taking over their country and not letting them have their freedom. The
Taliban doesn t let women go outside without covering their faces with a burqa and without a male

of education and having an unstable government.

the Afghans wanted to keep shooting at something so they decided to shoot at each other (The

Channel Mediated Diffusion Essay
Diffusion is categorized as passive transport in which atoms or molecules are moved, often through a
cell membrane, from a higher to a lower concentration. This process involves the spreading of the
solute, which ultimately results in the removal of a concentration gradient (Kate T. et al. 2015).
Typically, there are two types of diffusion across a cell membrane: simple or channel mediated.
Simple diffusion occurs when molecules diffuse easily through the membrane; whereas channel
mediated diffusion occurs when molecules pass through the membrane via protein channels often due
to their size or electrical force. There are several factors which can affect the rate and capability of
diffusion such as molecule and gradient size, temperature and electrical forces. For example, more
extreme temperatures result in a slower rate of diffusion. Thus diffusion at room temperature occurs at
a much more rapid rate than would diffusion at an extremely low temperature. Typically, the higher
the temperature, the more rapid the rate of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Dehydration results from a lack of water in the body. This can occur if one is in an environment with a
high amount of solute in the air or water, which leads to osmotic flow of water into that environment
and therefore out of the body s cells. Kidney dialysis is used as an alternative to normal kidney
function when the kidneys stop working properly due to kidney disease (Cloe 2015). The dialysis uses
a semi permeable membrane in which only small molecules can pass through. Dialysis place[s] a semi

Systems Analyst Vs. A Business Analyst And A Software...
Many run into the problem of differentiating between a systems analyst and a business analyst and a
software developer. In fact, in a lot of places one person could do all of those jobs or one could just
not be present. These jobs in the workforce, while similar in many ways simply because they re IT
jobs, are vastly different things. Systems analyst are those who take a IT system and study it trying to
make sure everything is good. A business analyst while helping with the system, forces on making
sure that the business side of things are running properly and always looking for a way to improve
them. A software developer is there to develop the software that keeps the business running as well as
be what the other two analyst look to, to make the system. Despite their differences, these three jobs
are finely interwoven together, making them all an important part of a company and to lose one would
only set a company back. Most notably, a systems analyst and a business analyst and a software
developer differ in what their duties are, and what these jobs roles focus on. The first difference
between all threes is what their duties are in a company; while all are vital to a company, each of has
very different duties in helping a company. A systems analyst is responsible for researching, planning,
coordinating and recommending software and system choices to meet the company s needs. This
means knowing what the company needs in terms of software, meeting those who will be using it

Because of this, larger predators like wolves have higher doses of radiation. Fish bones from an amur
carp found near the cooling pond were too radioactive to even be touched. With this being the case,
we can only imagine what the effects upon the animals that eat them are, eagles. However, there are
other factors that affect internal doses of radioactive elements. Rodents contain higher doses for their
size than other animals because they spend a lot of time closer to the ground as well as in burrows
where the concentration of radioactivity is still high. And decomposers such as fungi and bacteria
contain high levels of radioactivity as they decompose and circulate the radionuclides and absorb it

Influence System Coding On The Vitality Dissipated By...
In this paper, creator proposed another strategy to influence system coding to decrease the vitality
devoured by information encryption in MANETs. To this end, creator proposed P Coding, a
lightweight encryption plan to give privacy to network coded MANETs in a vitality effective way. The
fundamental thought of P Coding is to let the source haphazardly permute the images of every parcel,
before performing system coding operations. Without knowing the stage, busybodies can t find coding
vectors for right deciphering, and in this manner can t get any significant data and shows that because
of its lightweight nature, P Coding brings about negligible vitality utilization contrasted with other
encryption plans. Yet, in this paper, for encoding information creator utilized Homomorphic
Encryption Functions (HEFs) which is weak plan [1]. In this paper, creator proposed P Coding, a
novel security plan against listening stealthily assaults in system coding. With the lightweight change
encryption performed on every message and its coding vector, P Coding can effectively foil
worldwide busybodies in a straightforward manner. Besides, P Coding is likewise included in
adaptability and power, which empower it to be coordinated into handy system coded frameworks [2].

Eat At My Restaurant Cash Flow Review
Eat at My Restaurant Cash Flow Review
Remaining profitable in the restaurant industry is a requirement conceivably not considered as
difficult for common chains like Taco Bell, Panera and Starbucks. Many factors impact the
sustainability of cash flow for the restaurant industry when looking at changes in market trends for a
product, menu pricing, and inventory management. Consistent to each of the parent companies for
these restaurants however, is the need to ensure adequate and positive cash flow to satisfy the
corporation s stakeholders. An evaluation of these three parent companies to identify potential cash
flow problems will consider each firm s long term profitability, offer observations on cash flows and
potential risk from the potential investor s perspective.
Long term Profitability
Where long term profitability for an investor is the basis for the choice of where to invest, one should
differentiate difference between net cash from operating activities and net income. Net cash from
operating activities represents cash generated from the primary business function (Gibson, 2013), in
this case food service. It is essentially a line item in the overarching net income of the company which
demonstrates the company s profitability.
With these two values, an investor can differentiate the effect of increasing, declining or stagnant sales
from the overarching reported net income value of the organization. The best indicator of long term
profitability will be net

Themes InThe Rememberer And Jealous Husband Return In Form...
Many stories have similar themes, The Rememberer by Aimee Bender and Jealous Husband Returns
in Form of Parrot by Robert Olen Butler are two short stories that do. In The Rememberer, Ben is
going through reverse evolution and Annie and Ben both do not know why. It is implied that Ben
remembers Annie, but not completely specified. In Jealous Husband Returns in Form of Parrot, the
husband falls out of a tree trying to catch his wife in the act of cheating and gets reincarnated into a
parrot. He remembers her, but she does not know it is him and ends up choosing and purchasing him
from the pet store, putting him back into his own home. Both stories have ironic tendencies and share
a similar theme, but have different meanings. Throughout both stories, the characters are facing
internal conflicts. In The Rememberer, Annie is dealing with Ben going through reverse evolution.
She does not know why he is going through it or what to do about it, which results in her battling
herself in her own mind. She cannot tell anyone what is going on because nobody would believe her,
she is stuck telling people that he has a strange sickness and is forced to keep it all inside. In Jealous
Husband Returns in Form of Parrot, the husband is dealing with the internal conflict of being
purchased by his wife and brought back into his home where now he is stuck seeing his wife with
other men. The conflict comes in to play with the husband because he does not have the vocabulary as
a parrot to tell her that it is him. Throughout the two stories, the men are both, somehow, turned into
animals.
They both may have turned into animals, in one way or another, but those ways are different. In The
Rememberer, Ben first turns into an ape, but then turns into a sea turtle, just to turn into a salamander.
Whereas, in Jealous Husband Returns in Form of Parrot, the only animal he is turned into is a parrot.
Another difference between the two circumstances is, Ben is going through reverse evolution, so he is
turning into many different animals, and the husband went through reincarnation after he fell out of
the tree, so he will not change forms. Although, in The Rememberer, both Annie and Ben know that he
is still

Article Review On Donald Trump
Among the websites that were listed for us to examine were some that focused on certain topics such
as the salaries of our congressmen and the happenings of the US treasury, and others that were broad
and covered many topics. I found myself spending more time on these websites that covered many
topics. The Daily Caller is one of these broad websites that featured the current events in politics, the
international community, entertainment, sports and business. The political section on the Daily Caller
seems to favor a more conservative stance, but is by no means a conservative website. Donald Trump
of course was making news, with his words that were directed to North Korea during his speech at an

People have been pushing for a more background checks and calling for convicted domestic abusers to
not be allowed guns. The Daily Caller reported that there is in fact already such a law in place. In 1996
there was a federal law passed that prohibits people who have been charged with domestic violence
from purchasing or possessing guns. In 2016 the Supreme Court upheld this law. Gun control is a
touchy subject, and I personally feel that the laws that the government enacts can always be
circumvented. For example, this Devin Kelley should never have been allowed to buy a gun, and yet
he did. The increase in recent years of mass shootings is not due to a more readily available supply of
guns and ammo or laxer laws, rather it is the people. These nut jobs are the crux of the problem, and I
don t have a solution to fail safely prevent mentally disturbed persons from acquiring guns. That being
said, I do think that laws are effective, although not foal proof. I m confident that there has been
several shooting prevented by denying certain persons guns, and that s why I m for gun control laws.
While the world section of the Daily Caller covers many avenues of new, a large portion of it seems to
be focused on conflicts in the international community. North Korea is suffering under the heaviest
sanctions that have been placed on them. A former North Korean financial official has stated that he is
unsure if North Korea will be able to survive

My very first experience fly fishing was an event that will be etched into my memory for the rest of

technique, honing my movements and motions to the razor edge of perfection. Striving to keep my
wrist rigid and my loops crisp and rounded, just as my uncle had shown me on the day I was given my
first fly rod. His words echoed in my ears as I meticulously practiced and prepared my technique,

Battle Of Antietam Research Paper
In 1862, the Maryland Campaign ushered a violent battle upon the Antietam Creek. As the first
prominent act of savagery in the American Civil War, this battle produced over twenty thousand

War. Upon its conclusion, the Confederate Army ceased the invasion of the north and Abraham
Lincoln issued the original Emancipation Proclamation. Undoubtedly, the Battle of Antietam decided
the fate of the American Civil War and rendered the abolition of slavery (Marx 20).

infantry unit upon noticing that the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia concealed a range of
bayonets in a cornfield (Ballard 30). Thus, a fiery battle erupted along the Antietam Creek. Soldiers
beat their fellow man with rifle butts and pierced their bodies with bayonets. Additionally, The Dunker
Church at Antietam became a bloody remembrance of the battle (Ballard 40). By midday, the town
was covered with the carnage of Union and Confederate soldiers. A sunken street, known as Bloody

seventeenth, the battle had concluded. According to historians, the Battle of Antietam yielded more
casualties than any other day in the history of the nation s military. Specifically, over twenty thousand
casualties were accounted for. However, President Abraham Lincoln expressed disappointment in
General George B. McClellan s military performance during the Battle of Antietam. For example, he
stated that a rationalist mindset that permeated McClellan s strategic acts led him to miss a great
chance to destroy Lee s army (Lincoln 19). Furthermore, Lincoln grew increasingly disenchanted with
McLellan s militant skills as he declined to attack General Lee along the Potomac River. On
November seventh of 1862, President Lincoln dismissed General McClellan from the Army of the

Why Abortion Should Stop The Abortion
Why Abortion Should stopped
For everyone an abortion is defined as the removal of an embryo or fetus from the uterus from a
female, in order to end a pregnancy (Webster, Merriam). Abortions are wrong because one cannot
create life; therefore a person should not be able to terminate a life before it actually starts. Depending
on the situation people may feel that abortions are justifiable. Due to a person being too young, or just
simply unprepared. I feel that either way that it is murder. We wouldn t accept a serial killer roam the
streets as if nothing happened. In this argument it is the same thing. (The book of exodus 20:1 7)
clearly states thou shall not kill. You can t avoid that in any form or fashion (exodus 20:1 7). Every
human being has a right to life even if they are not born, yet there are no rules to stop this crime.
I feel that abortions should be illegal anywhere on this planet. I searched up some facts about how
abortions can hurt you in The killing of an human was doing no wrong is a horrible act, even if that
human being has yet to be born. Unborn babies are considered human or soon to be humans by the
government and people who actually cares about humans. The federal Unborn Victims of Violence

federal law, anybody intentionally killing or attempting to kill an unborn child should be trialed for on

Ige Antibodies Live On The Surface Of Cells
IgE antibodies live on the surface of cells that are specifically designed to be involved in the
inflammatory response, mast cells and basophils. Mast cells are found predominantly in your surface
tissues (tissues close to the external environment) such as in your skin and in the mucous membranes
of your nose. Once the IgE has attached itself to an allergen, it sets off a series of events within the
cells that lead to degranulation, which is the process that releases molecules from vesicles that
regulate immune responses. Amongst these molecules is histamine.
According to Nordqvist (2015), histamine causes effects on the body by binding to histamine

Another symptom caused by histamines, shortness of breath and asthmatic like wheezing, when

Antihistamines alleviate the effects of histamine on the body, hence their name antihistamine. Taking
an antihistamine drug such as Claritin, Allegra, or Zyrtec prevents these effects. The drug races to the
H1 receptor and competes with the histamine. The histamine cannot bind wherever the drug binds,
therefore the histamine can t cause any irritating effects. It s always better to take an antihistamine
drug before you come into contact with an allergen. That way the antihistamine will have a higher

The And Female Characters Of Candide
The IA Essay
How do the experiences of the women in Candide differ from those of the men? How do their
reactions to those experiences differ from those of the men?
Most of Voltaire s characters were able to explain why they could consider themselves as the most
unhappy by providing a story of what had occurred to them. Their experiences vary from natural to
man made misfortunes. However, even though, the characters reactions to their misfortunes are of a
similar, the experiences between the male and female characters of Candide are quite different in
regards to what is taken away from them.
Throughout the novel we follow, the main character, Candide, through his journey of reuniting with
his beloved Cunegonde. The journey was very dangerous because throughout the novel, Candide was
flogged, forced into an army, shipwrecked, betrayed, robbed, and separated from his love Cunegonde,
and tortured by the Inquisition. Most of Candide s misfortunes was mostly of robbery and abuse.
Throughout the journey, Candide was able to acquire love and wealth. Though, both things were taken
away from him. Cunegonde and Candide were separated frequently ever since that kiss they shared.
As for the wealth, Candide kept flaunting it around and spent a lot of it unwisely. Therefore, the
villainous characters in the novel were able to notice that Candide was a fool and noticed that robbing
some of his wealth would be an easy task for them. Though, it was at this moment that Candide was

containing most of the mass of an atom in the form of two particles, protons and neutrons. This

Q.1 The study addressed questions like what effects maternal foraging success would have on
maternal body condition, fecundity, egg investment and whether an abundance in prey for the mother
would have positive effects on offspring traits like shapes maternal body condition, fecundity and egg
investment, and that maternal prey abundance has a positive, cross generational effect on a number of
important offspring traits, for example, sibling cannibalism in black widow spiders.

The Causes And Historical Origins Of The Gulag Archipelago
Most of books especially those written by survivors about the experience of holocaust have mainly
two purposes. The first one is to record the full horror of the historical crimes such as holocaust, labor
forced camps, and etc. The second one is detailed explanation and description of the causes and
historical origins of that experience. The Gulag Archipelago is a three volume non fictional book
written by a famous Russian historian, novelist, story writer, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn between 1958
and 1968; however, it was published in 1973 in the West. His book is about the USSR s forced labor
camp system, which is another great holocaust in the history of humanity and its narrative relies on the
eyewitness testimonies such as evidence from more than 200 fellow prisoners, his own captivity and
exile experiences when he served as a prisoner in one of Gulag labor camps, and other primary
research material, mostly during Stalin s rule from 1929 to 1953.
One of the main sources is the eyewitness testimonies of 227 other survivors related to Solzhenitsyn.
The author has recreated the history between the 1918 and 1956. Archipelago refers to the forced labor
camps system augmented and ran by the Russian secret police and its institutions. The prisoner
population grew from small amount of people after the revolution of 1917 to 12 15 million at a single
time by the 1940 s, which about half of them were politicians. Gulag is the acronym of the central

  • 2. Cyrogens are Great Improvements to Electrochemical Battery... Cryogens are effective thermal storage media which, when used for automotive purposes, offer significant advantages over current and proposed electrochemical battery technologies, both in performance and economy. An automotive propulsion concept is presented which utilizes liquid nitrogen as the working fluid for an open Rankine cycle. The principle of operation is like that of a steam engine, except there is no combustion involved. Liquid nitrogen is pressurized and then vaporized in a heat exchanger by the ambient temperature of the surrounding air. The resulting high pressure nitrogen gas is fed to the engine converting pressure into mechanical power. The only exhaust is nitrogen. The usage of cryogenic fuels has significant advantage over other fuel. Also, factors such as production and storage of nitrogen and pollutants in the exhaust give advantage for the cryogenic fuels. C The importance of cars and usage also and not only the cars but also other automobile vehicle which is in the present world is increasing day by day. There are various points and terms that influence the choice of the car. This includes the efficiency, performance, fuel, pollution, emission which came during the combustion etc. As the prices of fuel (gasoline fuel, diseal ad others) are increasing and the availability and presence is decreasing we have to go for alternative choice. Here I am going to tell you an automotive propulsion concept is presented which utilizes and use the nitrogen ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Women During World War Two I think a lot of women said, Screw that noise. Cause they had a taste of freedom, they had a taste of making their own money, a taste of spending their own money, making their own decisions. I think the beginning of the women s movement had its seeds right there in World War Two. President Franklin D. Roosevelt s quote clearly illustrates the significance of women in the workforce during World War Two and the feelings women may have felt. World War II was crucial for women in the workforce because it was the first time the government needed women in the workforce to replace men in their jobs, while they were away at war. Although, women had some involvement in the First Great War, there was no greater demand for women to the workforce then during World War Two. Although women played a crucial role in the successes of the Second Great War, society had varying opinions and outlooks revolving around women s involvement in the workforce. Not everyone was supportive of women s involvement in the labor force because of the stereotypes formed many years previous to World War II regarding women being simply homemakers and working only in their homes, or very seldom as secretaries. This view of women caused many problems for women in the workforce and it continues to be a problem for women today. It is evident while looking at this particular time in history, that there were varying views of women being a part of the workforce; it is clear that there are people who thought ... • 4. Taylor Swift s Song Shake It Off A poem is a piece of writing that arouses strong emotions because of its beauty. Poems can be expressed in both a speech and a song. The famous pop/country artist, Taylor Swift, expresses her poems in the form of songs. Her poems are written in a modern literature. She contributes to this literature because she writes her songs based on what is going on in the modern world and in her life. This is especially noticeable in her song, Shake it off. In this song she describes how people spread rumors and that you need to just let them go. This relates to the world today because bullying is a huge factor in today s society. This poem offers readers different ways to deal with being gossiped about or bullied. It also shows that being yourself ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The form of the poem, Shake it off, is written in a closed form and is written in the form of a lyric poem. It is written in a closed form because it follows a regular rhythm. It is in the form of a lyric poem because it portrays the thoughts and feelings of the writer and does not tell a story. This is present in stanza six when Swift says, I never miss a beat/ I m lighting on my feet/ And that s what they don t see, mmm mmm/ That s what they don t see, mmm mmm (Swift). This example shows how the poem is written in a closed form because of the rhythm, rhyme, and meter. It also shows that it is a lyric poem because Swift talks about her feelings in first person. The form of the poem is written in a closed form to help the reader distinguish a certain pattern or sound. It is written as a lyric poem because Swift wants to talk about her feelings in a way that the reader can recognize a certain beat to allow them to find reading the poem interesting. This is portrayed in stanza eleven when swift says, My ex man brought his new girlfriend/ She s like Oh, my god! but I m just gonna shake./ And to the fella over there with the hella good hair/ Won t you come on over, baby? We can shake, shake, shake (Swift 2014). This example shows the rhythm that the poem has to let the reader know that it is written in a closed form. It also shows the type of form the poem is written in. It does this by ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Babysitting Essay An anonymous speaker once said, Children are great imitators. So give them something great to imitate. Although many people have never done it, babysitting can be considered a difficult task for many. Individuals who feel babysitting is effortless rarely consider that the babysitter must often take on multiple roles at one time. Babysitters must: watch the children without ever becoming frustrated, get to know the those being watched because not every kid is the same, or they may even become the driver or the cook for the night. Babysitting is different for every child and babysitter, and different families have different rules. One of the first things someone should do when preparing to babysit is to get instructions from the parent. ... Not to mention, if the sitter must make supper, this gives the sitter new ideas of what to fix or order for the night. After this, depending on the night, the babysitter should see if the children have any homework and see if they need help with it. The sitter should make sure the kids know they can go to them if they need help. This is an important step to make sure the young ones know they can go to their guardian if they have an issue. This will also help create a bond between the babysitter and young ones. This will show the parents how responsible someone can be a positive influence. Also, it is important to note that the sitter should make sure to not get frustrated with the children and always give warnings before any disciplinary action is made. The fourth step of babysitting is asking the young ones what they would like to do for the night. It is important to the children know that they have options for the night and it will not be boring for them. Some kids do not have someone to hang out with or be around unless it is at school, so it is important to make the night special for them and be genuinely interested in the things they do. Making the kids happy and their night enjoyable is one of the most important things when watching kids because a child s smile, and laughter can be one of the best sounds a person can hear. Even if they ask to be alone, the sitter should always make sure they are nearby because they could be ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Implementing Observational Learning The following essay provides the reader with a cursory understanding of observational learning and how it may be implemented within the classroom. The paper first explores a workable definition of observational learning primarily through the concept of modeling and vicarious learning. The second part discusses the roles of the teacher and environment. The paper then discusses how observational learning may be used to teach positive attitudes and effective thinking skills, also achieved through vicarious learning. Scaffolding , a learning strategy that utilizes observational and vicarious learning is explored in the last section of this paper. Observational learning is basically learning by watching others, referred as models. There are ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This is referred as vicarious reinforcement, whereas vicarious punishment occurs when a student observes a peer facing consequences for a behavior that the observer is also doing. The peer facing a consequence essentially forces the observer to also stop behaving in a similar fashion. Vicarious extinction occurs when the observer notices that a behavior does not produce the desired result, therefore they cease the behavior (Vockell, 2004). The integration of observational learning would begin with the teacher. The teacher may be the primary role model in the classroom environment, hence it is imperative to project positive behaviors and qualities and refrain from behaviors and attitudes that tend to diminish opportunities towards intellectual, social and developmental growth within each student (Vockell, 2004). The classroom environment is also taken into consideration. Environmental factors may affect outcomes related to modeling techniques. The idea is to limit the potential effects of sensory stimuli, such as when closing doors to the classroom in order to lessen external noise or distractions. Attitude and thinking skills can be learned vicariously, [C]hildren develop a large number of thinking strategies by imitating the ways their peers think. Teachers can exploit opportunities for observational learning of attitudes and thinking skills related to academic subjects. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 10. David Role Model Lastly, I find David as an important role model in the Old Testament, as well as Abraham because he was a King, a man after God s own heart, a unifier, a warrior, and a man with great flaws. David had it all, musical talent, physical strength, and boundless bravery. David reigned as king of Israel for forty years, dying at age 70 in 837 BCE. His first and foremost drive was to have a relationship with God. David was chosen especially by God, for the Lord commanded Samuel to look for him saying, Do not consider his appearance or his height (1 Samuel 16:7). Upon Samuel s anointing of David, the scripture notates, And from that day on the Spirit of the Lord came upon David in power (1 Samuel 16:13). David was also known as a great conqueror, as in the incident with Goliath when he makes a great triumph by cutting off Goliath s head with Goliath s own sword. Research indicates that children who have health insurance have better health outcomes in their childhood, adolescence and adulthood. (cite). During the mid 1900 s there were more 11 million uninsured children in the United States (Institute of Medicine, 1998). In what yr Senators Edward Kennedy and Orrin Hatch worked together to introduce a bill to provide healthcare insurance for children (Milliigan, 2009). To finance the policy it was based on Federal Medical Assistance Program (FMAP) Explain this part better I don t understand). FMAP was deisigned as an incentive for the states to expand the health insurance for children based on Medicaid, Congress came up with an enhanced federal matching rate for SCHIP at 15% points higher than the Medicaid rate. For example, if a state has a 50% match rate for Medicaid, it would receive a 65% match rate for Medicaid for SCHIP. (cite) The policy has cost the federal government almost $40 million over a ten year span. The federal government grants and allocates the funds for SCHIP based on the number of uninsured children in families whose income is below the federal poverty level (FPL). The individual states are responsible for implementing the program based on analysis of ineligibility, enrollment and disenrollment. Strengths SCHIP has made notable achievements. An important strength is the flexibility afforded to the states in executing the policy which led to positive reception and acceptance of the program. The significance of states latitude over program design, gives states the ability to design the program based on the inordinate needs of children in that state. Starting in high school, I liked many of the aspects the military had to offer. One thing that really drew me to the military was equality. My two most important experiences would have to be my assignment as the deputy budget officer for the 96th Air Base Wing at Eglin AFB and my recent deployment to Iraq. Beginning chronologically, my assignment to Eglin was significant because, other than my deployment, it was the most demanding job I have had so far. As often is the case, we grow the most when under duress. My civilian supervisor really aided me in the maturation process. She asked a lot of her Lieutenants, but she was always sure to equip you with the tools you needed to be successful. For example, anytime we had a budget brief to the Wing Commander, she selected me to brief. That really paid dividends for my confidence. She also made me the staff analyst for the MSG and Wing Staff. This provided me great opportunity to work daily with the Resource Advisors (RAs) down at the group and squadron levels. Structure of the skin: The skin is the largest organ in the body. It covers the whole body and is water resistant. There are two main layers: the epidermis and the dermis. The epidermis is the outside layer that of which we can see. It varies in thickness depending on where it is located on the body, eg.it is thickest on the soles of the feet and palms of the hand; thinnest on eyelids and nipples. Melanocytes are the cells that produce melanin. *Section D i. continued The dermis layer is connected to the blood and lymph supply as well as the nerves, unlike the epidermis layer. The dermis contains sweat and sebaceous glands, hair follicles and many living cells. It is made of connective tissue, mainly areolar tissue which is tough and elastic, and contains white collagen fibrous connective tissue and yellow elactic connective tissue otherwise known as elastin. Collagen plumps the skin and elastin keeps it supple and elastic. Both of which diminish with age. The dermis contains eight main types of structure: 1) Specialised cells Fibroblasts: responsible for the production of areolar tissue, collagen and elastin. • 15. Channel Mediated Diffusion Essay Diffusion is categorized as passive transport in which atoms or molecules are moved, often through a cell membrane, from a higher to a lower concentration. This process involves the spreading of the solute, which ultimately results in the removal of a concentration gradient (Kate T. et al. 2015). Typically, there are two types of diffusion across a cell membrane: simple or channel mediated. Simple diffusion occurs when molecules diffuse easily through the membrane; whereas channel mediated diffusion occurs when molecules pass through the membrane via protein channels often due to their size or electrical force. There are several factors which can affect the rate and capability of diffusion such as molecule and gradient size, temperature and electrical forces. For example, more extreme temperatures result in a slower rate of diffusion. Thus diffusion at room temperature occurs at a much more rapid rate than would diffusion at an extremely low temperature. Typically, the higher the temperature, the more rapid the rate of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Dehydration results from a lack of water in the body. In fact, in a lot of places one person could do all of those jobs or one could just not be present. These jobs in the workforce, while similar in many ways simply because they re IT jobs, are vastly different things. Systems analyst are those who take a IT system and study it trying to make sure everything is good. A business analyst while helping with the system, forces on making sure that the business side of things are running properly and always looking for a way to improve them. A software developer is there to develop the software that keeps the business running as well as be what the other two analyst look to, to make the system. Despite their differences, these three jobs are finely interwoven together, making them all an important part of a company and to lose one would only set a company back. Most notably, a systems analyst and a business analyst and a software developer differ in what their duties are, and what these jobs roles focus on. The first difference between all threes is what their duties are in a company; while all are vital to a company, each of has very different duties in helping a company. • 22. Themes InThe Rememberer And Jealous Husband Return In Form... Many stories have similar themes, The Rememberer by Aimee Bender and Jealous Husband Returns in Form of Parrot by Robert Olen Butler are two short stories that do. In The Rememberer, Ben is going through reverse evolution and Annie and Ben both do not know why. It is implied that Ben remembers Annie, but not completely specified. In Jealous Husband Returns in Form of Parrot, the husband falls out of a tree trying to catch his wife in the act of cheating and gets reincarnated into a parrot. He remembers her, but she does not know it is him and ends up choosing and purchasing him from the pet store, putting him back into his own home. Both stories have ironic tendencies and share a similar theme, but have different meanings. Throughout both stories, the characters are facing internal conflicts. In The Rememberer, Annie is dealing with Ben going through reverse evolution. She does not know why he is going through it or what to do about it, which results in her battling herself in her own mind. She cannot tell anyone what is going on because nobody would believe her, she is stuck telling people that he has a strange sickness and is forced to keep it all inside. In Jealous Husband Returns in Form of Parrot, the husband is dealing with the internal conflict of being purchased by his wife and brought back into his home where now he is stuck seeing his wife with other men. The conflict comes in to play with the husband because he does not have the vocabulary as a parrot to tell her that it is him. Throughout the two stories, the men are both, somehow, turned into animals. They both may have turned into animals, in one way or another, but those ways are different. In The Rememberer, Ben first turns into an ape, but then turns into a sea turtle, just to turn into a salamander. Whereas, in Jealous Husband Returns in Form of Parrot, the only animal he is turned into is a parrot. Another difference between the two circumstances is, Ben is going through reverse evolution, so he is turning into many different animals, and the husband went through reincarnation after he fell out of the tree, so he will not change forms. Mast cells are found predominantly in your surface tissues (tissues close to the external environment) such as in your skin and in the mucous membranes of your nose. Once the IgE has attached itself to an allergen, it sets off a series of events within the cells that lead to degranulation, which is the process that releases molecules from vesicles that regulate immune responses. Antihistamines alleviate the effects of histamine on the body, hence their name antihistamine. Taking an antihistamine drug such as Claritin, Allegra, or Zyrtec prevents these effects. The drug races to the H1 receptor and competes with the histamine. The histamine cannot bind wherever the drug binds, therefore the histamine can t cause any irritating effects. It s always better to take an antihistamine drug before you come into contact with an allergen. That way the antihistamine will have a higher chance of binding to to the receptor than the histamine does. Antihistamines usually don t have side effects but drowsiness is one side effect that is hard to avoid. When an antihistamine crosses the BBB, or blood brain barrier, that exists between the circulatory system and the nervous system to stop random molecules from getting into the brain and causing untold havoc (U.S. National Library of Medicine, 2002) drowsiness occurs. The first generation of antihistamine drugs, such as diphenhydramine, crossed the BBB almost effortlessly and once they had crossed it sedation would set it. However newer antihistamines, known as second generation antihistamines, have been modified to prevent them crossing the BBB as easily. However, a new study indicates that the newer generation antihistamines tested caused daytime ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Essay on The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 The path to enacting the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is the history of the disability rights movement and its struggle to attain a better chance for equality not unlike other minority groups. The Disability community came to realize that the problem they were fighting was discrimination. The Disability community came face to face with some of the same problems and challenges that every individual who is in the minority faces. However, a disabled individual was not considered to be in a minority therefore could not be afforded the protections under the Civil Rights Act. A growing sense of unrest or change in mood galvanized and empowered the Disability community to fight for its civil rights. Federal laws that were enacted ... This action was precipitated by a The disability community became increasingly incensed that the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 section 504 was in a sense not enacted because the regulations had not been written let alone implemented. It took a lawsuit, Cherry vs. the Department of Health Education and Welfare (HEW), three presidential administrations and lots of demonstrations to finalize the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 section 504 regulations. James Cherry wrote many letters to HEW to urge implementation of the regulations. Mr. Cherry experienced discrimination in law school by being denied a parking spot closer to his classes and a key to the schools elevator. Without the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 section 504 implementation he would not have had any recourse, for the attempts by Senators Hubert Humphrey, Charles Percy and Congressman Charles Vanik to add disability rights to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 in 1972 did not work (Fleischer). When Joseph Califano, the Commissioner of the Department of Health Education and Welfare finally signed the regulations for implementation in 1978 Mr. Cherry eventually won his fight against HEW and was able to exercise his rights. More importantly this law and the Fair Housing Act of 1988 gave precedent for a more comprehensive policy. Situations such as this energized the disability community knowing their potential and need for ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 35. Essay on The Manhattan Project Before the Manhattan Project, in the beginning there were many advancements in understanding made in the world of physics. These resulted in the recognition of nuclear fission and its potential as an energy source and as a potential weapon. Of these advancements none was more central and important than the development of the nuclear model of the atom, which by the year of 1932 contained a nucleus containing most of the mass of an atom in the form of two particles, protons and neutrons. This nucleus was surrounded by an electron shell. Previously it was thought that atoms were the smallest form of matter therefore ultimately stable and indivisible. However, in 1919 Ernest Rutherford was able to break apart the nucleus of nitrogen with ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Then in 1939 World War II began and people around the world began to worry what Germany might do with nuclear technology. The idea that nuclear fission could be a significant producer of electrical power and a powerful military weapon occurred to many physicists, engineers and scientist around the world. Due to the escalating conflict in Europe, many scientist no longer published their discoveries and advancements for fear of it aiding enemy scientist. There was one difficulty encountered early on in the development of Manhattan Project, this problem was the difficulty of mining or creating the proper uranium isotope. Uranium 235 was the only isotope of uranium that underwent fission and only 0.7% of the uranium found in nature was of this isotope. More commonly uranium 238 was found, which actually inhibited the nuclear chain reaction. There were however several techniques which will be mentioned later for enriching the uranium. Do to how rare and expensive uranium 235 was it was first necessary to determine how much would be needed to create fission reactor or bomb. A group of Hungarian Jewish refugee physicists named, Leo Szillard, Edward Teller, and Eugene Wigner initiated the movement towards developing a program to analyze and determine whether a weapon could be created using nuclear ... Maternal effects on egg investment and offspring performance in black widow spiders. Animal Behaviour, 91, 67 73. Q.1 The study addressed questions like what effects maternal foraging success would have on maternal body condition, fecundity, egg investment and whether an abundance in prey for the mother would have positive effects on offspring traits like shapes maternal body condition, fecundity and egg investment, and that maternal prey abundance has a positive, cross generational effect on a number of important offspring traits, for example, sibling cannibalism in black widow spiders. Q.2 The findings of this study include the knowledge that maternal foraging success is indeed responsible for better maternal body condition, egg sac mass, egg number, mass, size and density rate. Some exceptions were also observed where the mothers given the high nutrition treatment made low density eggs and some given low nutrition treatment made high density eggs, showing that these characters are also influenced by genetic traits of the individual. Sibling cannibalism is also seen shown to be fitness related, genetically effected trait. Q.3 The experiment consisted of manipulating the food intake of black widow spider mothers, a high nutrition and a low nutrition diet were used. Eighteen penultimate stage juvenile black widow spiders were ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
