ANNOTATIONS In this instructional session, the curriculum integration with Values Education (VE) focused on
promoting intersubjectivity, encouraging individuals to empathize despite differences in race, beliefs,
social status, or physical appearance. The objective was to foster a deeper understanding and
appreciation of others through active demonstrations of respect, care, and responsibility toward
others despite differences. Hence, The task involved developing both literacy and musical skills,
where students interpreted song and expressed their thoughts, and opinions, toward making
decisions.
Carefully designed activities showcased the talents of individuals with disabilities and those
from underprivileged sectors, aligning with Global Social and Environmental Responsibility (GSED)
principles. This integration facilitated student interaction, collaboration, and cooperation toward
their team.
Acknowledging the unique educational needs of students in remote areas with limited
internet connectivity, the flexibility to complete activities at home was provided. The teacher's
intervention included conducting home visitations to offer essential support to these learners.
In a broader perspective, a diverse range of teaching strategies tailored to multiple
intelligences were employed to capture learners' interest. Differentiated instruction, utilizing tools
such as PowerPoint presentations, images, videos, and multimedia materials, aimed to maintain
student attention and interest. This varied approach encouraged students to apply their experiences
and skills to real-life situations, enhancing the engagement and relevance of the learning process.
