meaning is still not clear to most of us. So, Global warming refers to
the gradual rise in the overall temperature of the atmosphere of the
Earth. There are various activities taking place which have been
increasing the temperature gradually. Global warming is melting our
ice glaciers rapidly. This is extremely harmful to the earth as well as
humans. It is quite challenging to control global warming; however, it
is not unmanageable. The first step in solving any problem is

30. ANNOTiON:
In this lesson, I integrated my curriculum with the Values Education (VE) subject,
specifically emphasizing the importance of demonstrating and expressing respect and concern for
others. This was done in the context of analyzing and evaluating facts and opinions related to
current issues, news, and events in real-life settings. Through this, the concept of Global Social
and Environmental Responsibility (GSED) was put into practice, allowing students to interact,
collaborate, and cooperate in their assigned task activities.
Furthermore, the principles of gender equality were implemented, enabling students to
express and synthesize their thoughts on differentiating fact from opinion statements.
To promote literacy skills, learners were given opportunities to express and apply their
knowledge in specific tasks. Every student was encouraged to participate to maintain a learning
environment that fosters fairness, respect, and discipline, thereby facilitating effective learning
practices.
For example, to accommodate the special educational needs of students residing in
remote areas with limited internet connectivity, they were permitted to complete the activities in
their own homes. In this scenario, they were required to write a narrative that illustrated how to
determine and construct facts while evaluating opinions, as part of the contextualization process.
In general, to capture the interest of the learners, I employed a variety of teaching
strategies that cater to multiple intelligences. Differentiated instructions, including the use of
tools such as PowerPoint presentations, images, videos, and multimedia materials, were utilized
to maintain the students' attention and interest. This approach encouraged students to apply their
experiences and skills to real-life situations, making the learning process more engaging and
relevant.
