CoSearch: A System for Co-located Collaborative Web Search

- The document describes CoSearch, a system that supports co-located collaborative web searching. It allows groups to search together using multiple mice and mobile phones to distribute control and tasks. - An interview study found that people frequently search collaboratively out of necessity (e.g. limited computers). However, current search tools do not support collaboration well. - An evaluation showed CoSearch improved communication, collaboration, and reduced frustration compared to other conditions. However, it still had issues with awareness and technological limitations.
