OVERVIEW
Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses, that
commonly cause mild upper-respiratory illnesses
in people
The virus spreads similar to the flu by coughing,
sneezing and respiratory droplets
Common symptoms include: fever, coughing and
shortness of breath
Symptoms are present 2 to 14 days after exposure
to the virus
People are thought to be the most contagious
when they are symptomatic

Cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing
Avoid close contact, touching of other persons
Frequently clean surfaces such as counters, desks, light
switches and cellphones
Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth
If you have symptoms of a cold, stay home

Centre Region Emergency Management- Coordinating their efforts with the
Pennsylvania State University, Centre County Office of Emergency Services
and the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency
Currently at a Level 3 (daily monitoring of the CDC and PA Department of Health
information.)
