- The coronavirus outbreak originated in Wuhan, China and has spread from the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market. It is capable of human-to-human transmission and has been declared a public health emergency of international concern. - 41 confirmed cases were treated at Jin Yin Tan Hospital in Wuhan, with 13 patients requiring ICU and 6 deaths. Common symptoms were fever, cough, and fatigue. No effective antiviral treatments have been identified. - Studies are examining viral transmission and loads, as well as the first cases reported internationally and potential treatments like remdesivir.

15. Treatment
• Corticosteroids should not be routinely

lopinavir/ritonavir (kaletra) in patients
hospitalized with 2019-nCoV infection.
