the dangerous setting he is in to make you feel for the character.

night vision
1 second 2 This shot emphasises the skill of the main character by showing the character in a difficult
dangers situation where they need to move in the dark. This is typical for a romance movie as
stereotypically the main character is dominant strong and skilled.
7 Wide shot 2 seconds 3 A mid shot of the helicopter also adds to the montage of the main character and showing his
characteristics. Also the mid shot of the helicopter gives the audience an idea of the setting and
tells the audience that the character is in the army.
