Summary Of Annie Grace s This Naked Mind Control Alcohol
The book This Naked Mind Control Alcohol is based on the true story of Annie Grace, who
recalls her life of addiction to alcohol. She recounts her steps to sobriety all on her own power, by
changing her unconscious and conscious desire to drink. Anything unconscious dissolves when you
shine the light of consciousness on it Echart Tolle (p. 26, para 2). Annie believes that the
unconscious is a powerful force controlling our behaviors and is in part responsible for the cravings
that we have. Your opinions about alcohol and your desire to drink spring from the lifelong mental
conditioning of you unconscious mind. This desire has likely been compounded by specific
neurological changes in the brain. The goal of This Naked... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Their product is ranked the number one soft drink, repeatedly, internationally, and has notoriety as
the first soft drink consumed by astronauts in space. They employ a diverse range of integrated
marketing communications to advertise through direct marketing, web based media, social media
and sales promotions (Stringer, 2015). The company carefully considers all touch points a
consumer (or prospective consumer) has with the brand as potential delivery channels for the brand

standing, consistent approach has created a longing for the product that by far superseded the
desire for that typically associated with a drink to quench one s thirst (Dudovskiy, 2015). Direct
Marketing They have exclusive vendor company partnerships, which eliminates competition, e.g.
cinemas and restaurants only serving Coca Cola over Pepsi. At sponsored sporting events they
again eliminate competition by attaining sole sale rights as well as VIP sales opportunities to

Summary Of The Negro Artist And The Radical Mountain By...
Langston Hughes has made many accomplishments that most people couldn t make. It was a
great challenge for colored people to express their feelings without going through a lot of trouble.
Hughes was successful in expressing he feelings. Considering the fact that he was half Caucasian
and half African American, he wasn t treated the way he was supposed to. So he wanted to do
something about it and change the course of history. On June 23, 1926, Hughes published a
stunning essay called The Negro Artist and the Radical Mountain. This essay captured the
philosophy behind art and radical problems faced by black artists. In essence, he talks about how a
young Negro poet did not wantto be recognized as a Negro poet. Instead, he wanted to... Show more

We younger Negro artists who create now intend to express our individual dark skinned selves
without fear or shame. If white people are pleased we are glad. If they are not, it doesn t matter.
We know we are beautiful. And ugly too. The tom tom cries and the tom tom laughs. If colored
people are pleased we are glad. If they are not, their displeasure doesn t matter either. We build
our temples for tomorrow, strong as we know how, and we stand on top of the mountain, free
within ourselves. Hughes clarifies how colored people should pay more attention to their own
beauty. Hughes sums up the life and thoughts of young negroes like the young poet he described
at the beginning of his essay. Another great work of art by Langston Hughes was a poem called
Harlem Sweeties. He uses the term sugar hill and different shades of food to illustrate the
personality and beauty of the melanated people of Harlem. Some of these examples include
descriptions such as coffee and cream, chocolate, walnut tinted, coco brown, and many more. In
another poem called My People, Langston illustrates how wonderful his people are. He expresses
the beauty of his people by talking about the beautiful night. Not only does Hughes describe the
people of Harlem in his poem, he also demonstrates the struggles in his life that he had to deal with.

Effective Communication As An Effective Leader
Communication is critical to the success of any business especially in the field of law enforcement.
As a leader, it is essential to convey operational objectives with clarity and purpose. The challenge is
to communicate in a manner that is effective in meaning and direct in intentions. Time must be
invested along with understanding, communication and the essentialelement of listening to work
towards progression, (Smith, 2011). Through effective communication, a leader can influence
subordinates to follow the vision, therefore leading the organization to future aspirations of success
and longevity. In order to be an effective leader you must be able to relate to others through open
communication, (Bennis, 2009). Effective communication is critical in establishing effective
relationships within an organization, (Kouzes and Posner, 2012). In order to add clarity and
acceptance of our vision a leader needs to communicate the steps in getting there. These steps can
be in the form of short termand long term goals. Goals provide direction in obtaining our vision,
they are also instrumental in the success of an organization, (Lawler, 2003). The vision must
incorporate values that are ethical and for the good of the organization driving towards
commitment and dedication to achieve. Without vision we have no direction, we are limiting our
abilities to grasp the future, (Kouzes and Posner, 2012). Discipline and direction are very important
in creating a vision with clarity.

Beauty Vs American Beauty Standards Essay
Society s ideals of beauty differs throughout the world. The American and South Korean
standards of beauty are vastly different which is interesting to compare. I was intrigued by this
topic because of many Korean shows that I watch and I ve realized a major difference in fashion
and beauty between these two cultures. American and South Koreans follow different trends, and
undergo plastic surgeries but they are often influenced by the same source which is the media. In
America, it is considered beautiful to have a sun kissed skin tone. People frequently get spray
tans or apply bronzer because being tan is often associated with having fun at the beach or at
vacation (Lin, 2017). In terms of makeup, Americans tend to create more dramatic looks by
applying false lashes and doing heavy contouring and highlighting. In recent years, Americans
developed an obsession over fuller lips and bigger breasts and butts due to the media. Plastic surgery
is very prominent, however, it is mostly used for breastaugmentation, buttock augmentation,

Young girls are constantly exposed to unattainable beauty standards which lowers their self esteem
and can cause eating disorders (Davis, n.d.). People form a preconceived notion of beauty simply
by admiring their favourite celebrities on social media, magazines or in movies. The hidden truth
is that not everything shown in the media is real. In the Korean entertainment industry, people
strive to look more Western by having paler skin and bigger eyes because of the Western
dominated media. Korean artists are usually responsible for promoting the beauty trends and
standards and the public tends to conform instantly (Park, 2017). In recent years, the media has
improved greatly by showing more diversity in body image and ethnicity. This allows young girls

This has to be one of my favorite assignments since becoming a student at Kaplan. I have been
interested in the Criminal Justice since I was a small child. I come from a long line of military,
however, my passion has always been Criminal Law. I remember even as a young girl in the 2nd

are learned on the job though. If you watch a good honest cop, you can learn more from him than a
lecture. (Shonda Ellis Duncan, personal Interview 2011)
5. Should ethics training be offered as an on going process for law enforcement officers? * 5. On

hurt to make ethics required every year too. (Shonda Ellis Duncan, personal Interview 2011) 6. Do
the interviewees feel that education and/or training in ethics would reduce incidents of police
corruption? * 6. Training may reduce corruption incidents. It s a nice idea. A wise man once told
me though that power corrupts. I believe this to be true. If you think of yourself as a superior to
everyone else, there is no law, no training or in service that can fix that kind of ugly. I don t know
if someone can be trained to be humble. Either you are or you ain t. I think this is true for cops.
You re either a good one or we appreciate your interest in law enforcement. Of course a good cop
has to maintain order. You must have respect to be successful. An officer s presence alone demands
it. One must remember the spirit and the letter of the law though and hold it dear as it is precious.

Subaru puts a new Eastern satirical twist on the tradition Western sexy car wash in their

the car wash with seductive music playing in the background. Most audiences expect a group of
supermodels in bikinis to come out and wash the car, however the elderly couple and the audience

This ad violates social and cultural norms by replacing beautiful women who normally would
advertise cars with sumo wrestlers, a reference to the origin of the cars manufacturer. In an article
published in Motor Authority it was quoted that Unlike the bikini wearing models in other ads, you
re not left wondering where the car is...If anything your eyes seek out the [car], if only for aesthetic
relief. (Lienert 2011)
In this advertisement Subaru Canada is also portraying a sense of Japanese pride. Sumo wrestlers
are honored in Japan and by replacing a Canadian or American supermodel with a symbol of
Japanese pride, the sumo wrestler. This connects viewers with the pride of a Japanese manufactured
car that the ad is trying to sell.
What else is the ad selling?
Subaru Canada is selling a new type of car advertisement which shows deviance to societal norms
by changing the image of what people think is sexy. Sex sells is a long standing phrase that can be
used to define the advertising industry and before this commercial was released many
manufacturers marketed sexy car advertisements using Sports Illustrated swimsuit models or
models of a similar stature. Subaru in lieu of the sexy bikini models has chosen to express their
individuality by chosen a cultural representation to poke fun at traditional advertising. Subaru takes
a humorous approach to the commercial, selling the

Rite of Passage Ceremony
RITE OF PASSAGE
It is three days before my initiation ceremony. The day Mama says I become a woman. She is
really happy about it and I m supposed to be, but I m not. I have tried to delay this day for as long
as possible, but this year Papa put his foot down. I am already 17 years old and most girls go
through the ceremony at 14. All the girls in my age group have to go through this rite in order to
make them eligible for marriage. No woman in the village can get married without undergoing the
rite of passage. It is part of our tradition and the elders believe it ensures women do not stray from
their marital homes. They also believe you are unclean without it. People were already starting to
whisper about me as I was the last girl in my age group who not gone through it and my friends
tease and look down on me that I am not yet a woman.
My younger brother, Dide cannot be initiated into the Warrior class because he has an older sister
who is uncircumcised. This is the real reason Papa has refused to listen to me any longer. Dide has
come of age and he doesn t want me to delay his initiation. After my initiation ceremony, I would
be getting married. Papa has already someone picked out. I ve seen him a couple of times, my
friends think I m lucky to be getting married into his family. I don t think anything. Going through
the initiation ceremony and getting married would be the end of schooling for me. I know what is
expected of me as a female but I don t like it. When I told

Rough Draft: The Chemistry of Cancer
Introduction According to the National Institutes of Health, in 2016 more than 595,000 people
died from cancer, and the US is projected to spend more than $150 billion in the treatment of
cancer by 2020 ( Cancer Statistics ). Many of us know a friend or loved one who was killed by a
form of cancer, and we may know someone fighting the disease right at this very moment. For
this project, I wanted to look at the chemical reasons for why cancer forms, how it grows in the
human body, and what can be done to stop it. While scientists are still learning about cancer and
its effects, there is a lot of scientific evidence that points to free radicals as one of the ... Show more

The result is what we call a free radical cascade, an enormous chain reaction of free radicals that
quickly wreaks havoc on living tissue (Howard). Because of the constant loss of one electron, the
organic molecules affected by the free radical are being oxidized. This has caused scientists to refer
to the process as oxidative stress (Nimse and Pal).
However, in other cases, enormous molecules can be created as the oxygen molecule takes an
electron from a nearby hydrocarbon. It glues itself to the original molecule and leaves the end of
that original molecule one electron short. For example, the following reaction shows what happens
when an organic peroxide comes into contact with ethylene. Asterisks show an unpaired electron.
R O O R в†’ R O* + *O R
R O* + H2C=CH2в†’ RO CH2 CH2*
RO CH2 CH2* + H2C=CH2 в†’ RO CH2 CH2 CH2 CH2*
(Atteya)
As the reactions show, the unpaired electron chops the double bond between the carbon atoms in
ethylene, turning it into longer and longer free radicals.
Free Radicals and Cancer
Free radicals can cause cancerous tumors when they form longer and longer free radicals in one
location (Atteya), causing the proteins and other compounds the body naturally produced to
become transformed into larger and more complicated organic compounds that the body doesn t
know what to do with. Dr. Atteya refers to this as localized cancer.
However, free radicals

Pitt Panthers Research Paper
With nine national championships, 74 first team All Americans, and 712 all time wins, the Pitt
Panthers have long been one of college football s premier programs. Few schools can rival the
players my dad and grandpa grew up watching, such as Tony Dorsett and Dan Marino. What do
they have in common? Both played at historic Pitt Stadium, home of the Panthers since 1925.
This, along with the iconic Pitt Script logo and their royal blue and mustard yellow color
scheme, gave Pitt an unmistakable identity. However, this all changed when Steve Pederson
became the new athletic director in 1997. After four straight losing seasons, Pederson thought it
would be best to put his own mark on the program by changing the school s colors to navy blue
and vegas gold and getting rid of Pitt s decades old logo. Worst of all, he tore down the 75 year
old stadium and replaced it with a new basketball arena, which alienated him with the entire alumni
base and led to decreased support almost overnight. Following this, Pitt football moved to the

Book Review Of The Notebook By Nicholas Sparks
I read The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks, a 250 page novel published on October 1, 1996. This
book can be classified as realistic fiction, but is considered to be a romance novel due to the
heart pulling plot line of two star crossed lovers. My attention was caught quickly when I saw
this book, because I had watched the movie with my girlfriend which motivated me to read it. It
took me about three days to read behind Mrs. Kosters desk, each day during the same week; it
was a quick and easy read. This work was completely fiction; however, Sparks was inspired by his
wife s beloved grandparents. They had spent over sixty years together, with their story being shared

Most of Allison s dreams were about her sister, Melanie (the reason for these dreams occurring

Bob Marley and Reggae
Bob Marley was a Jamaican singer, guitarist and songwriter who achieved international stardom.
What are the origins of Reggae?
The origins of Reggae start with African music as the people of Jamaica are descendants of the
African slaves who were brought to the island. African music is based around rhythm patterns, and
rhythm and beat are the most important features of Reggae. Also there is the influence of other
Caribbean music such as Calypso and the associated instruments such as steel drums which can be
heard on Bob Marley songs such as One Love.

and blues, Jamaican folk rhythm, and dub were synthesized into the rock steady and poppa top

How was Bob Marley Associated with religion and black politics?
In 1967 he converted from Christianity to Rastafarianism, a religion that has had a profound
influence on reggae music. The Rastafarian movement of this period, among other beliefs,
recognized Haile Selassie I, king of Ethiopia, as the living God; praised the spiritual effects of
marijuana; and endorsed black racial superiority. Influenced by the Rastafarian movement, Marley
s music contains elements of spiritualism and mysticism. Some songs call for personal freedom
through revolution, while others embrace carefree attitudes toward life or convey stories of love.
Marley and the Wailers recorded Catch a Fire (1972), Burnin (1973), Natty Dread (1975), and Live
(1975), among other albums. During the 1970s, amid great political and economic turmoil in
Jamaica, Marley cultivated a rebel image. An increasingly political figure, he survived a 1976

The field of forensic anthropology centers on the analysis of human remains; a key component of
such an analysis is the knowledge of how much time has passed between the death of an
individual and the discovery of the associated remains. This period is termed the postmortem

of death can be instrumental in determining the specifics of a crime. Determination or estimation

longer held in check by the human immune system and the physical separations between the
digestive tract and the other organs. Thus, bacterial action is a critical decay component, and the
significance of such action will be investigated shortly. In traditional forensic taphonomic
nomenclature, the cadaver progresses from the fresh stage upon death to the bloat stage at the
beginning of microbial action (Finley et al. 2015). Upon the onset of insect activity, active decay
begins until most consumable matter is removed, leading to the advanced decay stage; dry decay
follows when only bone and keratinous tissue remains (Finley et al. 2015). Based upon
environmental conditions such as temperature and moisture availability, the time interval for each
of these stages and thus the overall decay process from fleshed body to skeleton may vary
significantly. Thus, a standard taphonomic analysis of remains may not provide a very accurate
indication of PMI; however, other methods used in conjunction can greatly increase accuracy in

Southwest Airlines And The State Of Texas
Back in March of 1967, Southwest Airlines was first founded under a different name, Air
Southwest Company, by Rollin King and Herb Kelleher . With his own funds of $500 thousand,
Kelleher filed an application with the Texas Aeronautics Commission for the right to fly
commercial airplanes in the state of Texas. In February 20th of 1968, the Texas Aeronautics
Commission voted unanimously, granting Air Southwest a certificate of public convenience and
necessity. The following day, Braniff, Trans Texas (later known as Texas International), and
Continental Airlines obtained a restraining order from Travis County District, prohibiting the
certificate to be delivered to Air Southwest Company . Air Southwest Company tried to file
appeal with the Austin State District Court and the Third Court of Civil Appeals. Both courts
ruled against Air Southwest, forcing Herb Kelleher to appeal with the Texas Supreme Court. The
Texas Supreme Court unanimously voted to overturn the lower court s decisions and ruled in
favor of Air Southwest . In December of 1970, the United States Supreme Court denied the
appeal by Braniff and Texas International to remove Air Southwest certification . In 1983,
Winifred Barnum, a children s author and illustrator, wrote a children s book based on Southwest
s legal fight called Gumwrappers and Goggle. In Jan 1st of 1971, Lamar Muse joined Air
Southwest as the President. In March of 1971, Lamar Muse raised $1.25 million for the company

Analyzing The Essay Black Beauty Pageants
Hammersmith, London, early 1970s, from the portfolio Black Beauty Pageants Courtesy of
Raphael Albert/Autograph ABP is the artifact I have chosen. Picture this if you will, a beautiful,
regal looking young black woman with an almost exotic pose. She is adorned by opulent

the background by a door. He seems oblivious to the beauty that is in his presence. The man
seems to be looking away, off into the distance. The visual elements of this artifact are the most
important, everything from the lighting to how the model is posed gives off elegance and power.

of ODD. The aspects include the condition s diagnosis, its implications on an individual s health,
medications and therapies. The diagnosis of Oppositional Defiant Disorder mainly comes as a
result of observing certain characteristics of individuals behaviors. For instance, children who
demonstrate disrespect towards authorities in their surroundings are usually diagnosed with the
disorder. It is an exceptionally prevalent psychiatric disorder that has detrimental repercussions for
slightly over three per cent of children and adolescents (Walter Matthys, 2012). According to the

Chemical Reaction Investigation
Introduction:
A rate of reaction is how fast or slow a chemical reaction happens. In order for a chemical reaction
to occur it must have a great amount of energy and the particles in a chemical reaction must collide
frequently. There are a variety of factors which can affect the rate of a reaction, these include
temperature, surface area, concertation, agitation and a catalyst. One of the factors that we have
investigated above includes the measurement of the surface area between three Aspirin tablets. The
first tablet was kept whole, the second tablet was cut into four pieces and the last tablet was
crushed into fine powder. During this experiment my group had predicted that the crushed powder
would have a higher surface area therefore a faster ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This is because particles in the reaction will move faster gaining more energy causing more
collisions to occur. If a chemical reaction had a low temperature then the particles would move
slower and would less likely collide.
During this experiment, it was essential to have a hypothesis as it outlines your predictions and
guesses. My hypothesis was supported through both my data and research because I predicted that
the room temperature would have a faster reaction rate than the cold temperature. If my hypothesis
was rejected the data would be more accurate. My research would determine if my hypothesis or
data was accurate or not.
Not much problems occurred during the experiment as many things went smoothly. There are many
variables which need to be controlled these include the same amount of hydrochloric acid and
calcium carbonate when investigating the different temperatures and the same person measuring
the volume of gas throughout the entire experiment. Throughout all trials the beakers didn t
contain the same amount of water. Therefore not all variables were controlled. This problem could
affect the reading of data. In order for the results to be more accurate, the method should say a
specific amount of what the water in the beaker should be filled up to. This will ensure that the
experiment is more

The Challenges Of Minecraft
What is probably not obvious in Minecraft is that the game simulates life experiences in a real

day to day living, such resources as food and shelter. A person needs food for nourishment and a
shelter to be safe from external threats, whether it be natural or manmade.
The same is true in Minecraft. Minecraft incorporates challenges that a player has to overcome to

Agile software development methodology
Agile development is a term used in software development to describe incremental software
development methodologies. It is a type of incremental model because, in incremental model the
whole requirement is separated into many separated builds. Here, the software is developed in
incremental, rapid cycles resulting in small incremental releases with each release building on its
former functionality. Each release is critically tested to make sure that the software quality is

Baseball Club History
The history of baseball in the United States can be traced to the 18th century, when amateurs
played a baseball like game by their own informal rules using improvised equipment. The popularity
of the sport inspired the semipro national baseball clubs in the 1860s.
The earliest known mention of baseball in the U.S was a 1791 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts,
ordinance banning the playing of the game within 80 yards of the town meeting house. In 1903,
a British sportswriter Henry Chadwick published an article speculating that baseball derived
from a British game called rounders. The first team to play baseball under modern rules were the
New York Knickerbockers. The club was founded on September 23, 1845, as a social club for the
upper middle classes of New York City, and was strictly amateur until it disbanded. The club
members, which included its president Doc Adams and Alexander Cartwright, formulated the
Knickerbocker Rules, which in large part dealt with organizational matters but which also laid out
rules for playing the game. Among the rules ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

which was formed after the National Association proved ineffective, put its emphasis on clubs and
not players . Clubs now had the ability to enforce player contracts, preventing players from jumping
to higher paying clubs. Clubs in turn were required to play their full schedule of games, and not
forfeiting scheduled games once out of the running for the league championship, as happened often
under the National Association. A concerted effort was made to cut the amount of gambling on
games which was leaving the validity of results in

THE EFFECTS OF INDUSTRIAL CAPITALISM
Adam Smith argued that Individuals who were allowed to pursue rationally their own economic
self interest would benefit society as well as themselves (Sherman Salisbury, 2008, p.187). This
argument helped industrial capitalism grow in the 19th and 20th centuries. Industrial capitalism
affected the bourgeoisieand the working class. Although the bourgeoisie gained money and power,
the working class suffered through poor working conditions.
The bourgeoisie, also known as the middle class, gained money and power as the industrial
capitalism got stronger. They consisted of merchants, tradesmen, and professionals. In the middle
class, the men worked outside the home to support their families, while the women stayed at home

In addition, the children obtained a mere fraction of that pay. Therefore, factories employed women
and children more often than men. The owners even created contracts with orphanages to hire
cheap child laborers to save money (Sherman Salisbury, 2008, p. 277).
In the 19th century, industrial capitalism began to gain more power in the form of monopolies.
Rockefeller s Standard Oil Trust was one of these monopolies. His company destroyed smaller and
weaker oil companies to become a larger corporation.
On May 15, 1911, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that the Standard Oil Cartel was a
menace to the Republic and ordered it to be broken up:
For the safety of the Republic we (U.S. Supreme Court) now decree that the dangerous conspiracy
must be ended by Nov. 15, 1911 (John D. A Portrait in Oils, p. 154).
Rockefeller vowed revenge against the U.S. and used his vast fortune to BUY the U.S. government.
The breakup of the Standard Oil monolith resulted in about 37 new companies. Rockefeller still
secretly controlled them all by owning a voting majority of stock in the new corporation. Thus
Standard Oil would be known as Standard Oil New Jersey (Exxon), Standard Oil New York
(Mobil), Standard Oil Indiana (Amoco), Standard Oil California (Chevron), Atlantic Refining
(Arco) etc., etc.

Problems in Air Traffic Control and Proposed Solutions
In northern California this summer, the Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA) unintentionally performed it s first operational test of free flight ; aviation without direct air
traffic control. This was an unintentional experiment because it was a result of a total shut down of
the Oakland Air Route
Traffic Control Center (ARTCC).
Although Oakland is only the 16th busiest ARTCC, it s responsible for the largest block of
airspace of any ATC facility; 18 million square miles.
Oakland directs all upper level flight from San Luis Obispo, California to the
California/Oregon boarder, including most Pacific oceanic routes. The failure happened at 7:13
a.m. local time ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Flight crews did their own improvising. Some pilots squawked VFR and continued the flight on
their own. Others continued on their previously issued clearance, while others climbed into or
descended out of Class A airspace without a clearance. Later analysis tells us one of the biggest
problems was nobody believed a prolonged outage like this could occur. Both controllers and
supervisors worked on the assumption their radar and radios would come back any moment now .
The same thought process prevailed at Bay (Oakland) TRACON where operations were
paralyzed by the Center s blackout. It s impossible to say how many separation losses occurred
during the hour long episode. Some near mid air reports were filed, but the vast majority of
separation loss situations will probably go unreported. After power was restored, and the primary
radar system was returned to operation, extensive air traffic delays, diversions, and flight
cancellations persisted for many hours at
Bay area airports, especially departures from San Francisco International. We may never know the
full aftermath of this incident. Changes will be made as to how power is fed to ATC facilities, and
how maintenance is performed.
Contingency plans will be rewritten and controllers will be trained how to implement them.
Meanwhile, controllers nation wide are brushing up on their non radar and lost comm procedures.
After an extensive investigation, it s now clear why the

Henry Ford was a man who contributed a lot to the people of his time, but not everyone felt the

Literary Devices In Marigolds By Eugenia Collier
Eugenia Collier, the author of the short story Marigolds makes great use of literary devices such
as imagery, diction, flashback, and juxtaposition in a way that creates a voice for the narrator
that conveys both the regret over, and possibly the longing for her childhood. The diction, that is,
the vocabulary choice is expertly combined with imagery, or the unique descriptions and sensory
details, in order to allow the reader to formulate the experiences and the surroundings of the
narrator s childhood in their imaginations. Flashback is used to allow the narrator to not only
explain how she viewed the events of her past as a child, but to compare these views with her
adult feelings of the same events. Juxtaposition aids in further explaining the connection between
the setting and emotions of the main character, creating a better picture of the narrator s life.
These elements all combine to construct a narrative that effectively conveys the coming of age
theme. The first literary devices that are to be discussed are diction and imagery. Diction is the
vocabulary demonstrated by the author, and how the objective and subjective meaning of the
words and phrases the author chooses to utilize help construct and expand the narrative. An
example of diction used uniquely by the author can be seen in paragraph twelve of Marigolds
when this sentence is used: the idleness whose prospect had seemed so beautiful during the busy
days of spring now had degenerated to an almost

Pros And Cons Of Libertarianism
For this essay I shall explain libertarianism in a general sense, observing its aims and ideals for
society, what a government s role is in this society and what common views libertarians may
share. I will conclude with identifying a plausible form of this political philosophy based on the
idealist merits it puts forward to form a society based on personal freedom.
Libertarianism in a general sense is the view that every individual has the right to live their life in
any which way they may choose, so long as they hold respect for the equal rights of others. A
Libertarian government defends every individual s right to life, liberty, and property, observing
that all people hold this as a natural born right. Libertarians hold the view that, all individuals
relationships should be voluntary; and the main actions that should be restricted and punishable by
law are those that involve use of coercion against another or remove or impose on the rights of
another in any such way. A Libertarian is one who advocates maximizing individual rights and
minimizing the role of the state (What is Libertarian? 2013).
As a political philosophy Libertarianism aims towards the upholding of everyone s personal
liberties as its main principle. Classical Libertinism is built on the idea ... Show more content on

John Winthrop And James Madison
From the beginning, America has been a safe place for the fostering and cultivating of new
thoughts and ideologies, but not without repercussion. This is evident in the life of both John
Winthrop and James Madison. From early on in their political careers, both leaders faced political
opposition. John Winthrop left familiarity in search of religious freedom and the pursuit of a life
pleasing to God. James Madison, in creativity, thought of an entirely renovated way to successfully
restructure the governmentof a nation that acted more as separate states. By using their backgrounds
as a driving force for innovation they renovate governmental systems and lead the people from the
ground up, inspired by Reformation and republicanism. Their implementation of government was
different in emphasis, but the republican ideals behind it were the same. In Edmund S. Morgan s,
The PuritanDilemma, it was evident that John Winthrop focused his entire life around glorifying
God, in turn creating a government that did the same. This ideology translated into the way he
shaped and structured Puritan society. Winthrop first focused on the formation of a community of
unity and harmony, then built a government that fostered it. All of the governmental structures in
place were supporting one main focus of the Puritan society being a city on a hill. Citation
Further, Puritan society was to act as an example for the surrounding colonies of godly living.
Harmony was backed by their ideals of

The Battle of Algiers and The Algerian Insurgency Essay

The two political communities in French Algeria were the French citizens and the Algerian people.
The Algerian people were under French rule for over one hundred years from 1830 to 1962 when
they were given their independence and recognized by France. The events of November 1, 1954,
marked the birth of the National Liberation Front (FLN) (Cherian). The Muslim population is the

especially when they were on strike to gain UN approval for an Algerian nation free from France
but the French Army forced them to their jobs and work. They instituted a curfew and checkpoints
between the two parts of Algeria where the French citizen were and the Algerian people were
housed. They then instituted bombs after their homes were bombed and burned killing their family
members and children. The FLN then built purse bombs to attack the French civilians at local
areas such as a restaurant, airport, and dance club. They also started to attack the military when
threatened and hid weapons in the French occupied territory to attack the policemen. The French
civilians were also tired of friends and family getting killed so they started to attack Algerian
children whenever they saw them. The French citizens almost killed a young boy by trampling and
kicking him when he was on the ground until the police pulled the child to safety.
The Algerian insurgency used the strategy that Mao developed and perfected but every nation or

Workrate Definition
How do you define workrate?
The term workrate was introduced to me during the earlier stages of my wrestling fandom when
I stumbled upon online communities who would throw the word around quite readily. Even
with the term still in common usage, I have never seen it given a widely agreed upon and
concrete definition. In my view workrate is somewhat distinct from good work , and refers to
the athletic and mechanical aspects of a match, in addition to the fluidity of its execution,
bumping, and the like. It says very little for the emotional components of a match or wrestler, for
facials, and more complex elements of selling. Whilst this does mean that many, if not most good
workrate matches are well worked, and many high workrate wrestlers are great workers, the
contrapositive does not hold those who do not have the mechanical and athletic prowess of a high
workrate performer may very well be just as good as far as quality of match output is concerned.
Is workrate important to you?
Workrate is important to me and my enjoyment in a match, most certainly. Mitsuharu Misawaand

At the time super athleticism and movez were a top priority in my evaluations, and were lumped
under the umbrella heading of workrate . Exploring the wrestling world outside of 90s All Japan
and mid 2000s Ring of Honor most definitely assisted with what would become a gradual
evolution of my outlook, and what is more, aided me, specifically in the case of 90s All Japan, in
recognising just why some of those matches were as great as they were for reasons beyond workrate

The Controversial Language In QuГ©bec
In 2001, QuГ©bec had a population of approximately 7.1 million people of which over 83%
were French speaking (Mandjee et Brouste 5). QuГ©bec is arguably Canada s most distinct
province because it is the only province who s official language is French. QuГ©bec is also the
only province in the country who has a public organization enforcing language laws. The Office
Québecois de la Langue Française (OQLF) is a public organization instated by Premier Jean
Lesage under the Liberal government on March 24 1961. It was first created on the back of
MinistГЁre de la Culture et des Communications du QuГ©bec and its objective was to to align on
international French, promote good Canadianisms and fight Anglicisms [...] work on the

There would be a waiter, a new immigrant to the country with little knowledge of French,
speaking solely in English to customers which his manager would overhear this and walk over
and pull the waiter to the side. Next, we will see the manager having the higher status because he
is aggressively yelling at the waiter. The manager would be yelling at him about how he is
disobeying the rules set by the OQLF. Then I would show the audience the Ideal Image, where the
waiter is seen speaking to the customer in English and the customers is replying back in English.
The customers can be of any ethnic background, for the purpose of this scene, it does not matter.
What matters is that they are communicating with each other and understanding one another. The
customer can be seen speaking both French and English to the waiter and the waiter could be seen
as making an effort to speak French to the customer. A Transitional Image is all of the waiters at the
restaurant standing up to the manager and bringing up that in Canada, they have the right to express
themselves in whatever language they want. The manager would understand their perspective and
allow them to communicate with customers in a respectful and understandable way thus, an equal

Surface Segregation And Formation Of Silver Nanoparticles...
Surface Segregation and Formation of Silver Nanoparticles Created
In situ in Polyvinyl alcohol Films.
1 Introduction.
Preparation, characterization, and physical properties of a nanostructured materials of silver
(nanoparticles and nanocomposites) have been the subject of various researcher in many scientific
laboratories during the past years for many studies and it has been also established that size,
stability, color, shape, and properties depend on the method of preparation (radiation,
photochemical, electrochemical, and chemical) as well as experimental factors such as [reactants],
[stabilizer and/or capping agents], temperature, order of mixing of reactants, presence of stabilizers
and capping agents and even on the addition rate of reducing agents [1 12].
The properties of such nanocomposites can further be improved through various treatments like,
annealing, UV irradiation and Gamma irradiation is one of the extensively used tools to alter the
structural, optical properties [13, 14], Many of reports were used gamma irradiation to synthesis
the Ag nanoparticles in PVA [15,16], and the other literature were prepared Ag PVA
nanocomposite films and then irradiated with gamma at doses (25, 50, 75, 100 KGy) [17].
According to this literature the absorption peak intensity at 427 nm for silver nanoparticles is
increased with increasing the gamma doses, until the higher doses 100 KGy, its decrease and the
reason for this behaviour at higher doses the

Comparing The Holy Bible And The Greek Myth
Mankind is destroyed. Few humans are left. The earth was flooded and all perished, save for the
righteous. The world was judged and found wicked, and so it was drowned. A new start is to be
made. There are two flood stories like this from ancient times: the Holy Bible s account and the
Greek myth. Both are strikingly similar, in that the worldwas punished for its wickedness by being
flooded. In each of the flood stories, the cause of the flood, the circumstances, and the aftermath
are very nearly the same. The world was wicked. And so the world had to be punished. In the
Bible s account, all of mankind was corrupt. Man s imagination and heart was incessantly evil. It
grieved God s heart, because He had created these people, and they turned from Him and... Show

Therefore, He decided to destroy mankind and start anew. However, there was one man who
found grace in the eyes of God, and his name was Noah. Noah alone was a righteous man who
walked with God. Because of this, God spared Noah and his family, and instructed him to build an
ark in order to preserve life on the earth. God wanted mankind to continue, but those that were on
the earth at that time were so corrupt, they needed to be destroyed. In the Greek myth, mankind
was again found to be wicked. This wickedness was exemplified by Lycaon, a tyrant king who
scoffed at Zeus s power and attempted to kill him in his sleep in order to see if he really was a
god or not. Lycaon also killed a man and butchered him, putting him in a stew served to Zeus.
Unlike God, who is omniscient and knew the people s hearts, Zeus had come to visit Lycaon in
human form, in order to see how wicked he really was. It was during that visit that Lycaon
showed how terrible he truly was. Zeus destroys Lycaon s home, and as he is fleeing, he is
transformed into a wolf that has

The Role of the Prosecutor Essay
In the American Criminal Justice System, there are four key attributes in the role of the prosecutor.
There are discretion, resource dependence, sequential tasks, and filtering. The prosecutors are
lawyers that are accountable for presenting criminal cases in trial. The United States Attorneys are
pointed by state or government, and represent the federal government in courts. They prosecute all
adults who commit felonies and juveniles who commit delinquent crimes. Conjointly, the
prosecutors have further responsibilities, such as legal adviser of the country commissioners, the
Board of Elections, and written admonition of the prosecutors.

A criminal defense attorney is a lawyer that is specialized in the defense of those who are charged
with criminal conduct. Defense attorneys deal with the surrounding issues of an arrest of their
clients, and the substantive issues of a crime that he or she is charged. In the United States, each
individual who is brought to trail is eligible for a defense attorney, according to the sixth

individuals are called public defenders who are employed by the government. The duties of a
defense attorney, is to advocate and advice. In order, for the defense attorney to work effectively,
the defendant must supply all the facts and information surrounding the case. Moreover, the
defendant is protected by attorney client privilege. Thus, any exchange information concerning the

Chris Mccandless Analysis
Chris Mccandless was a man that many would call crazy or maybe even immoral. He left
everything to live in the wild and become one with nature . He had determination, a strong
mindset, fearlessness and courage. I believe that my life and the life of Chris Mccandless are not
similar in any aspect. In fact I wish that my life was more like his and that I had the drive and
determination to do what he did.
Christopher Mccandless left everything he had to follow his dream. Honestly though what strikes
me as the most important thing he did was his strive for independence. Chris wanted to be free
of his family, his education, and free of his past life. What he did that makes me wish I could be
more like him though was his courage to not only attempt to be independent but his
stubbornness to see it through. When he decided he wanted to do something it wasn t a question
of how should I do this or should I do this, It was what can I do to make this happen now? Instead
of keeping his money and his name, he donned a new name and burned his money. Many would
call this immoral and stupid, but in actuality it was just a step in the process of becoming a new
person and shedding all the layers of his past life.
When Chris left he didn t tell anyone where he was going and he didn t keep any ties with his
family. What I m trying to say here is that not only do I admire him for his determination and
stubborness of will, I understand why he did what he did. Chris had recently found out about

The Internationalisation Process Of Nigerian Firms
The main objective of this study is to investigate the internationalisation process of Nigerian
firms empirically as this is one of the few studies that have taken this approach in the context of
the study using seven case firms. As agreed with the case firms and the University of
Huddersfield ethics committee, a pseudonym approach is applied to keep the real names of the
firms anonymous; the 7 Nigerian case firms pseudonym is ADG, BDM, CCR, DET, ENA, FCW
and GAB. In comparison to other large emerging markets and developed economies Nigerian firms
are still in an early stage of development as most sectors of the economy are in their infancy stage.
The firms expansion behaviours both domestically and internationally would to some extent have
an impact on or alter the mainstream internationalisation process theories. Three research questions
were developed to address the objectives of this study (1) Do existing internationalisation theories
explain the internationalisation process of Nigerian firms? (2) How do emerging markets
multinationals evolve and expand over time? (3) How do EMNCs internationalise at the early stage
of their foreign expansion? With a study design using multiple data collection methods, the
appropriate data analysis technique is paramount to enhance the study quality as well as achieve the
study objectives. Yin, (2014) asserts that data analysis is through examining, categorising,
tabulating and recombining of data from various sources of evidence

Border Security Policy Analysis
As the political landscape in the United States continues to include increasing levels of immigration
reform and border security rhetoric, an understanding of current capabilities and operations
becomes a vital component when forming an educated opinion. Army National Guard soldiers and
aircraft provide a crucial layer of border security, employing the UH 72A Lakota helicopter
equipped with technology designed to assist law enforcement agencies in drug interdiction and
undocumented immigrant apprehension. Shortfalls in United States Customs and Border
Protection (CBP) capabilities opened the door for military involvement to stem the influx of illegal
immigrants, as well as slowing human and drug trafficking (Lawson, 2012). Today, the UH 72A...

The UH 72A Lakota is a militarized version of the Eurocopter EC 145, also known as a BK 117
C 2, and is equipped with the mission equipment package. The standard UH 72A mission
equipped aircraft carries the MX 15i electro optical infrared sensor with laser pointer, data
communication suite, moving map display, cabin and cockpit screens with touchscreen interface,
digital video recorder, Tactilink data downlink system, and 30 million candlepower searchlight
(Bledsoe, 2011). A typical Task Force Liberty flight crew includes two pilots, one crew chief, and
one CBP officer (Robinson, 2013). To maximize aircrew coordination and minimize task saturation,
the pilot on the controls focuses on flying the aircraft, positioning it as needed to decrease
detection and optimize sensor capability, and navigating via onboard GPS. The pilot not on the
controls operates the communication suite, maintaining communication with controlling agencies
and higher headquarters, as well as general cockpit management. The crew chief operates the MX
15i sensor, which provides real time electro optical or infrared video feed to the crew station and
to each of the pilots. In the absence of a Border Protection agent, the crew chief will also maintain
communication with CBP dispatchers and CBP agents in the field. Most mission flights carry a
Customs and Border Protection agent who sits beside the crew chief at the crew station. The agent
coordinates communications with CBP dispatch and field agents, and assists the flight crew in
prioritizing mission

Goals provide direction in obtaining our vision, they are also instrumental in the success of an organization, (Lawler, 2003). The vision must incorporate values that are ethical and for the good of the organization driving towards commitment and dedication to achieve. The result is what we call a free radical cascade, an enormous chain reaction of free radicals that quickly wreaks havoc on living tissue (Howard). Because of the constant loss of one electron, the organic molecules affected by the free radical are being oxidized. This has caused scientists to refer to the process as oxidative stress (Nimse and Pal). However, in other cases, enormous molecules can be created as the oxygen molecule takes an electron from a nearby hydrocarbon. It glues itself to the original molecule and leaves the end of that original molecule one electron short. For example, the following reaction shows what happens when an organic peroxide comes into contact with ethylene. Asterisks show an unpaired electron. Free Radicals and Cancer Free radicals can cause cancerous tumors when they form longer and longer free radicals in one location (Atteya), causing the proteins and other compounds the body naturally produced to become transformed into larger and more complicated organic compounds that the body doesn t know what to do with. Following the cessation of cardiac and respiratory functions in humans, cell death commences leading to the complete death of the individual. The chemical processes that result from the massive death of cells, such as release of enzymes and digestive fluids, act to begin the decay of the cadaver. Of important note, normal bacteria associated with the human digestive system are no longer held in check by the human immune system and the physical separations between the digestive tract and the other organs. Thus, bacterial action is a critical decay component, and the significance of such action will be investigated shortly. In traditional forensic taphonomic nomenclature, the cadaver progresses from the fresh stage upon death to the bloat stage at the beginning of microbial action (Finley et al. 2015). Upon the onset of insect activity, active decay begins until most consumable matter is removed, leading to the advanced decay stage; dry decay follows when only bone and keratinous tissue remains (Finley et al. 2015). Based upon environmental conditions such as temperature and moisture availability, the time interval for each of these stages and thus the overall decay process from fleshed body to skeleton may vary significantly. In order for a chemical reaction to occur it must have a great amount of energy and the particles in a chemical reaction must collide frequently. There are a variety of factors which can affect the rate of a reaction, these include temperature, surface area, concertation, agitation and a catalyst. One of the factors that we have investigated above includes the measurement of the surface area between three Aspirin tablets. My hypothesis was supported through both my data and research because I predicted that the room temperature would have a faster reaction rate than the cold temperature. Baseball Club History The history of baseball in the United States can be traced to the 18th century, when amateurs played a baseball like game by their own informal rules using improvised equipment. The popularity of the sport inspired the semipro national baseball clubs in the 1860s. The earliest known mention of baseball in the U.S was a 1791 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, ordinance banning the playing of the game within 80 yards of the town meeting house. In 1903, a British sportswriter Henry Chadwick published an article speculating that baseball derived from a British game called rounders. The first team to play baseball under modern rules were the New York Knickerbockers. The club was founded on September 23, 1845, as a social club for the upper middle classes of New York City, and was strictly amateur until it disbanded. • 36. Literary Devices In Marigolds By Eugenia Collier Eugenia Collier, the author of the short story Marigolds makes great use of literary devices such as imagery, diction, flashback, and juxtaposition in a way that creates a voice for the narrator that conveys both the regret over, and possibly the longing for her childhood. The diction, that is, the vocabulary choice is expertly combined with imagery, or the unique descriptions and sensory details, in order to allow the reader to formulate the experiences and the surroundings of the narrator s childhood in their imaginations. Flashback is used to allow the narrator to not only explain how she viewed the events of her past as a child, but to compare these views with her adult feelings of the same events. Juxtaposition aids in further explaining the connection between the setting and emotions of the main character, creating a better picture of the narrator s life. These elements all combine to construct a narrative that effectively conveys the coming of age theme. The first literary devices that are to be discussed are diction and imagery. Diction is the vocabulary demonstrated by the author, and how the objective and subjective meaning of the words and phrases the author chooses to utilize help construct and expand the narrative. Libertarianism in a general sense is the view that every individual has the right to live their life in any which way they may choose, so long as they hold respect for the equal rights of others. A Libertarian government defends every individual s right to life, liberty, and property, observing that all people hold this as a natural born right. Libertarians hold the view that, all individuals relationships should be voluntary; and the main actions that should be restricted and punishable by law are those that involve use of coercion against another or remove or impose on the rights of another in any such way. This is evident in the life of both John Winthrop and James Madison. From early on in their political careers, both leaders faced political opposition. John Winthrop left familiarity in search of religious freedom and the pursuit of a life pleasing to God. James Madison, in creativity, thought of an entirely renovated way to successfully restructure the governmentof a nation that acted more as separate states. By using their backgrounds as a driving force for innovation they renovate governmental systems and lead the people from the ground up, inspired by Reformation and republicanism. Their implementation of government was different in emphasis, but the republican ideals behind it were the same. In Edmund S. Morgan s, The PuritanDilemma, it was evident that John Winthrop focused his entire life around glorifying God, in turn creating a government that did the same. This ideology translated into the way he shaped and structured Puritan society. Winthrop first focused on the formation of a community of unity and harmony, then built a government that fostered it. According to this literature the absorption peak intensity at 427 nm for silver nanoparticles is increased with increasing the gamma doses, until the higher doses 100 KGy, its decrease and the reason for this behaviour at higher doses the ... • 43. Comparing The Holy Bible And The Greek Myth Mankind is destroyed. Few humans are left. The earth was flooded and all perished, save for the righteous. The world was judged and found wicked, and so it was drowned. A new start is to be made. There are two flood stories like this from ancient times: the Holy Bible s account and the Greek myth. Both are strikingly similar, in that the worldwas punished for its wickedness by being flooded. In each of the flood stories, the cause of the flood, the circumstances, and the aftermath are very nearly the same. The world was wicked. And so the world had to be punished. In the Bible s account, all of mankind was corrupt. Man s imagination and heart was incessantly evil. It grieved God s heart, because He had created these people, and they turned from Him and... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Therefore, He decided to destroy mankind and start anew. However, there was one man who found grace in the eyes of God, and his name was Noah. Noah alone was a righteous man who walked with God. Because of this, God spared Noah and his family, and instructed him to build an ark in order to preserve life on the earth. God wanted mankind to continue, but those that were on the earth at that time were so corrupt, they needed to be destroyed. In the Greek myth, mankind was again found to be wicked. This wickedness was exemplified by Lycaon, a tyrant king who scoffed at Zeus s power and attempted to kill him in his sleep in order to see if he really was a god or not. Lycaon also killed a man and butchered him, putting him in a stew served to Zeus. Unlike God, who is omniscient and knew the people s hearts, Zeus had come to visit Lycaon in human form, in order to see how wicked he really was. It was during that visit that Lycaon showed how terrible he truly was. Zeus destroys Lycaon s home, and as he is fleeing, he is transformed into a wolf that has ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 45. Chris Mccandless Analysis Chris Mccandless was a man that many would call crazy or maybe even immoral. He left everything to live in the wild and become one with nature . He had determination, a strong mindset, fearlessness and courage. I believe that my life and the life of Chris Mccandless are not similar in any aspect. In fact I wish that my life was more like his and that I had the drive and determination to do what he did. Christopher Mccandless left everything he had to follow his dream. Honestly though what strikes me as the most important thing he did was his strive for independence. Chris wanted to be free of his family, his education, and free of his past life. What he did that makes me wish I could be more like him though was his courage to not only attempt to be independent but his stubbornness to see it through. When he decided he wanted to do something it wasn t a question of how should I do this or should I do this, It was what can I do to make this happen now? Instead of keeping his money and his name, he donned a new name and burned his money. Many would call this immoral and stupid, but in actuality it was just a step in the process of becoming a new person and shedding all the layers of his past life. When Chris left he didn t tell anyone where he was going and he didn t keep any ties with his family. What I m trying to say here is that not only do I admire him for his determination and stubborness of will, I understand why he did what he did. Chris had recently found out about ... • 46. The Internationalisation Process Of Nigerian Firms The main objective of this study is to investigate the internationalisation process of Nigerian firms empirically as this is one of the few studies that have taken this approach in the context of the study using seven case firms. As agreed with the case firms and the University of Huddersfield ethics committee, a pseudonym approach is applied to keep the real names of the firms anonymous; the 7 Nigerian case firms pseudonym is ADG, BDM, CCR, DET, ENA, FCW and GAB. In comparison to other large emerging markets and developed economies Nigerian firms are still in an early stage of development as most sectors of the economy are in their infancy stage. The firms expansion behaviours both domestically and internationally would to some extent have an impact on or alter the mainstream internationalisation process theories. Three research questions were developed to address the objectives of this study (1) Do existing internationalisation theories explain the internationalisation process of Nigerian firms? (2) How do emerging markets multinationals evolve and expand over time? (3) How do EMNCs internationalise at the early stage of their foreign expansion? With a study design using multiple data collection methods, the appropriate data analysis technique is paramount to enhance the study quality as well as achieve the study objectives. Yin, (2014) asserts that data analysis is through examining, categorising, tabulating and recombining of data from various sources of evidence ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 47. Border Security Policy Analysis As the political landscape in the United States continues to include increasing levels of immigration reform and border security rhetoric, an understanding of current capabilities and operations becomes a vital component when forming an educated opinion. Army National Guard soldiers and aircraft provide a crucial layer of border security, employing the UH 72A Lakota helicopter equipped with technology designed to assist law enforcement agencies in drug interdiction and undocumented immigrant apprehension. Shortfalls in United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) capabilities opened the door for military involvement to stem the influx of illegal immigrants, as well as slowing human and drug trafficking (Lawson, 2012). Today, the UH 72A... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The UH 72A Lakota is a militarized version of the Eurocopter EC 145, also known as a BK 117 C 2, and is equipped with the mission equipment package. The standard UH 72A mission equipped aircraft carries the MX 15i electro optical infrared sensor with laser pointer, data communication suite, moving map display, cabin and cockpit screens with touchscreen interface, digital video recorder, Tactilink data downlink system, and 30 million candlepower searchlight (Bledsoe, 2011). A typical Task Force Liberty flight crew includes two pilots, one crew chief, and one CBP officer (Robinson, 2013). To maximize aircrew coordination and minimize task saturation, the pilot on the controls focuses on flying the aircraft, positioning it as needed to decrease detection and optimize sensor capability, and navigating via onboard GPS. The pilot not on the controls operates the communication suite, maintaining communication with controlling agencies and higher headquarters, as well as general cockpit management. The crew chief operates the MX 15i sensor, which provides real time electro optical or infrared video feed to the crew station and to each of the pilots. In the absence of a Border Protection agent, the crew chief will also maintain communication with CBP dispatchers and CBP agents in the field. Most mission flights carry a Customs and Border Protection agent who sits beside the crew chief at the crew station. The agent coordinates communications with CBP dispatch and field agents, and assists the flight crew in prioritizing mission ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
