- 3. Mise-en-scene With the preliminary the mise-en-scene is with normal school attire, as it is a school magazine. The finished product mise- en-scene is more suiting to the theme of the magazine with the dark aviators and the gas mask and the hoody in the bottom left corner.
- 4. Fonts With the preliminary the fonts are friendly and welcoming, suiting the school theme, where as with the other one the fonts are bold and sans serif suiting the rock theme
- 5. Editing With the preliminary task there isn’t any editing where as with the finished product the background has been edited out as well as some editing on the aviators making them look more darker.
- 6. Colours The colours in both the magazine are similar with black and red being the main colours used. With the finished product there are more colours used due to the fact that there is more on the front cover where as the preliminary has very little.
- 7. Layout The layouts of the contents pages are very different. In the finished product the actual contents if at the top with the image underneath where as with the preliminary the image is situated in the centre with the contents down the side and underneath.
- 8. Fonts Its hard to compare the fonts with the contents page as the contents of the preliminary task is just a plan where as the finished product is fully completed.
- 9. Editing The preliminary contents is just a plan so there is no editing where as with the finished product there is lots of editing mainly with the image to make it stand out.
