Shakur s Personification
Shakur uses personification to give human qualities to give ideas of justice and liberty. Justice
and Liberty cannot wear glasses. However, Shakur states that Justice and Liberty are blind,
therefore unfair to some groups n the world. These are two references between two famous crimes
of history of the country. Lines 5 6 is directed at the conviction of Geronimo Pratt for affiliation
with the Black Panther Party. Shakur perceives that the government effortlessly convicts Pratt,
while Justice and Liberty stepped over Oliver North, Ronald Reagan, and the Iran Contra Scandal.
Shakur stresses a double standard that lives in America. An anti apartheid activist and leader. He

Lactase Experiment
The results of the experiment vary from what is reported by previous studies (Curry, 2013, Enattah
et al., 2002, Tishkoff, 2007). The experiment was conducted on students currently in the Biology
225 course in Schenectady, NY. The class was primarily composed of individuals whom are
descendants of Europe. Therefore, an assumption was made that by in large, the percentage of
lactasepersistent in the class that was expected was going to be near 95% (Curry, 2013). However,
such a high percentage was not found. Of the class, only 49.3% of individuals were determined to
possess a genotypethat results in a phenotype of lactase persistence. Conversely, 40.8% of the
class was found to carry the genotype lct/lct which results in the phenotype of lactase non
persistence. Therefore, the results are nearly 50% off from what we expected initially. This
could be for numerous reasons, but perhaps the assumption should not have been made. The
results fit much better when compared to the world average occurrence of lactase persistence.
Curry notes that out of all individuals over the age of 8 years old, only 35% still possess the
ability to digest and breakdown the lactose in dairy products (2013). The results do fit closer to the
world average, therefore indicating that the assumption may have been wrong, the results of the
experiment still do not necessarily indicate whether the total population of students in the Spring
2016 Biology 225 class fits the societal model where there is a

Teen Suicidal Behavior in our Society
To live is a very fragile and misunderstood term. Countless lives are taken unwillingly each day by
mere accidents, while others are lost fighting to defend their countries beliefs. Some of these lives
grow old, and some do not, but many are not being lived in the way they were intended.
Somewhere along the lines in our society, people have the idea that their own life might not be
worth living. Ending their life is called suicide, and it is becoming more and more popular among
teenagers in this generation. For people between the ages of fifteen and twenty four, suicide is the
third leading cause of death, only behind accidents and homicides (New, 2012). It was recorded in
1996, that more teenagers and young adults committed... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This is where the school needs to step in and have a greater crack down of the nationwide
epidemic of bullying. Research suggests preventing teenage suicides through better school based
support systems is key, which all starts with preventing bullying (Fisher, 2006). Aside from
religious beliefs, homosexual teens undergo an abnormal amount of stress. From being confused
about their feelings to being worried about how they will be accepted, these teens have enough
on their plate. When homosexual teens get bullied at school for their different views, classmates
rude comments may be enough to send them over their stress limit. Thirty percent of teen
suicides annually are from teenagers who have come out as being homosexual (Woodward,
2005). There is much controversy over the topic of homosexuality, especially when people bring
the matter of religion into the equation. Individuals who are against this choice in life say that the
thirty percent statistic is flawed because it was calculated by a man who was a known
homosexual. They believe that homosexuals should not be looked upon as mentors in schools to
help struggling children, but rather be kept away from them. Controversy aside, it all comes down
to saving lives. Whether people agree with how they live or not does not matter, but their souls do.
No one should be made to feel so insignificant that they would

Visual Presentation Of A Healthcare Supply Chain
The image above is a visual presentation of a healthcare supply chain. It is vertical in order to
depict the relationships between each of the players. In order to gain a better understanding of
this supply chain in particular consider a large body of water such as a river or lake. Typically,
it is sustained by multiple streams that flow into it from various directions. The large body of
water and the streams are a part of a system. If the output of the stream stops or change
significantly than the large body of water will be affected. In the healthcare supply chain, the
large body of water represents the end users. The manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers are all
streams that contribute to the presence and quality of products. In the business world they
function in a business to business market because their products are not directly available to
consumers. Understanding the role that each of the links play is integral to viewing the supply
chain as a system. Manufacturers/Suppliers The companies in this group provide the medical
supplies needed to provide care to the end users. They are located at the top of the supply chain
because their products are necessary for the existence of the other players. In fact, innovation in the
industry is reliant on their output (source). Suppliers are powerful because they set the prices.
There are many companies in this classification and a large number of them sell a wide variety of
products in the market. Pharmaceutical

Manto was in his last years, how he plunged into the darkness that used to live inside him. The
acting of each and every actor is remarkable. Sania Saeed supported Khoosat throughout the film.
Saba Qamar as Noor Jehan was marvelous. Nimra Bucha with khoosat left the audience spell
bound. The whole film feels like belongs to Sarmad but it is praiseworthy that the supporting
actors had played their part very well. The locations in the film were very fascinating and true
for example: The Pak Tea House, MYO hospital and the Asylum. Sarmad directions are very
good. He in the film alongside Mantos life portrayed his literary work too. He included short clips
of his literary work and brilliantly associated with his life. He portrayed his short story khol do in a

Briar Rose Allegory
Jane Yolen, in her novel Briar Rose, has used an allegory of Briar Rose or Sleeping Beauty as a
metaphor to hide the real experiences and emotions suffered from the Holocaust during World War
Two. The development and techniques employed within the story are extremely effective for the
use of the allegory.
Yolen has used a number of techniques to assist in the use of the allegory. She has used the title
Briar Rose, Yolen has selected this specific title as it is another name for Sleeping Beauty, which is

factual account of the experiences. He was also included into the novel, so that the reader also

if this is a fairy tale. She also ends the tale with And they lived happily ever after . By using the
traditional beginning and ending of a fairy tale, she has kept in the theme of the two story, the
fairy tale and the allegory which has used the story of reality. Within the novel, Yolen has also
included an Authors Note. The Authors Note is used to provide a sense of reality to the reader as

Backyard Landscaping
It s common knowledge that a patio in your backyard could increase the price of your property.
However, if you want to get the most benefit of having a patio, I would strongly suggest that you
go over several backyard patio landscaping designs. And choose one that would suit your backyard
landscape well.
Patios are one of those portion of the house where you can just cast all your worries in thin air. It s
also where you get to hang out with your favorite people. If that s true for you, then might as well
design a landscape that will further enhance the relaxing effect of the patio.
If this is a project you re willing to undertake, it will be well worth the effort. However, before
starting anything just yet, here are couple of things you need to consider in designing a patio ...

And I would suggest that before you even begin the planning, you set a budget for the whole
project so that you won t spend way more than you re willing to. But if your patio have seen its
better day, it might be high time to change some things in it.
Plant Selection
Next thing you need to consider are the plants you are going to use as part of the landscape. If you
want a refreshing and vibrant ambiance in your yard, you ll only have to grow the right plants in
your yard.
To choose the right plant varieties, there are several things to keep in mind. First you need to do a
research on which kind of plants and shrubs would grow best in your area. This will make it easier
for you in the future to maintain and care for the plants.
Another thing to consider is the purpose of the plants there. While plant landscaping has a lot to
do with aesthetic value, it has to have some added benefits as well. For example, if you want
some shade in your backyard, you might want to set a deciduous tree somewhere in the yard. Or
if you want to set the border of your yard, shrubs would be a good choice for this purpose.

Search For Truth
The historian and the search for truth
A historian is a person who studies and writes about the past and is regarded as an authority on it.
Historians are concerned with the continuous, methodical narrative and research of past events as
relating to the human race; as well as the study of all history in time. History, in its broadest sense,
is the totality of all past events, although a more realistic definition would limit it to the known
past. Of all the fields of serious study and literary effort, history may be the hardest to define
precisely, because the attempt to uncover past events and formulate an intelligible account of them
necessarily involves the use and influence of many auxiliary disciplines and literary forms. The

The usual test for a statement of fact is verifiability, that is whether it can be shown to correspond
to experience. Standard reference works are often used to check facts. Scientific facts are verified
by repeatable experiments. E. H. Carr in his 1961 volume, what is History? argues that the inherent
biases from the gathering of facts makes the objective truth of any historical perspective idealistic
and impossible. Facts are, like fish in the Ocean, of which we may only happen to catch a few,
only an indication of what is below the surface. Even a dragnet cannot tell us for certain what it
would be like to live below the Ocean s surface. Even if we do not discard any facts (or fish)
presented, we will always miss the majority; the site of our fishing, the methods undertaken, the
weather and even luck play a vital role in what we will catch. Additionally, the composition of
history is inevitably made up by the compilation of many different bias of fact finding all
compounded over time. He concludes that for a historian to attempt a more objective method, one
must accept that history can only aspire to a conversation of the present with the past and that one s
methods of fact gathering should be openly examined. As with science, historical truth and facts
will therefore change over time and reflect only the present consensus (if that).

Discrimination Can Affect Anyone Anywhere Essay
Discrimination can affect anyone anywhere. Major focus points of discrimination are based off
race, gender, or sexuality. However, there is a form of discrimination that is often invisible to the
public eye and did not even have a proper name until 1981 (FWD Forward). This form of
discrimination affects many Americans everyday. This type of discriminationis known as ableism.
Ableism is defined as the discrimination of disabled people in favor of able bodied people.
Ableism is not as noticed or as mainstream as other forms of discrimination. Fifty four million
Americans currently have some form of disability, yet the discrimination towards the disabled
community is still out of focus in many aspects (HRFnd). While the United Statesof America has
come a long with shaping civil rights for the disabled people, the country still has a long way to
go. Issues that disabled people struggle with today include, unemployment, social isolation, and
stereotypes that demean the disabled population. These are all issues that should have been
addressed and resolved back when laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act passed in the
United States back in 1990 by the George H. Bush Administration. However, these issues have not
been resolved and ableism is still a huge issue in the United States that needs to be solved. The
disabled community is still fighting battles that should have ended a long time ago. With more
consideration though, society could put an end to

Cv Accident Or Stroke Essay
CVA: Cerebrovascular accident or stroke
A CVA is a neurologic emergency that occurs when a blood vessel carrying oxygen and nutrients
to the brain is either blocked by a clot (ischemic stroke) or bursts (hemorrhagic stroke). A CVA
may also be referred to as a brain attack. As reported by Quick Reference to Occupational Therapy
(2014), a physical exam of the patient leads the physician to suspect a CVA and to gauge
impairments on a functional scale through confirmation from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI),
computed tomography (CT), cerebral angiography, or electroencephalography (EEG). Blood tests
for bleeding and clotting disorders may also be performed. Cardiac monitoring may show atrial
fibrillation or other arrhythmias (Reed, 2014).
Etiology: There are 2 types of strokes: Hemorrhagic and Ischemic. A Hemorrhagic strokeis when a
brain aneurysm bursts or a weakened blood vessel leaks. According to the National Stroke
Association (2016), about 15% strokes are hemorrhagic strokes per year. It is the least common
type of stroke, but most often results in death 40% of the time. When a hemorrhagic stroke occurs,
blood spills into or around the brain, and creates swelling and pressure which then damages cells
and tissue in the brain. There are 2 types of hemorrhagic strokes: an intracerebral hemorrhage
happens when a blood vessel in the brain bursts and spills into the surrounding brain tissue,
damaging brain cells. A subarachnoid hemorrhage happens when an artery

How Does Steven King Create Suspense
Individual Study
Compare the ways Steven King in The Shining and William Friedkin in The Exorcist use
techniques to create suspense.
Steven King in his 1977 novel The Shining and William Friedkin in his 2001 film The Exorcist
establishes that suspense can be created in many forms while both being equally effective in its
own right. Although the characters are faced with a horrific dilemma in two very different settings,
the techniques used to create suspense can be similar. In both texts suspense is produced through
characterization, narrative structure and foreshadowing to create a state of anxious uncertainty for
what may happen. While the characters within The Shining are placed in a traditional horror setting,

Overcome with rage Karras takes the demon with him through a window and down the grey stair
way, ultimately defeating it.
In The Shining the hotel is mentioned within the first chapter, as Jack is being interviewed.
However, it is only until chapter 4 that the reader is allowed a glimpse of the terrible things to
come. Delaying the suspense allows for proper character development which will prove
important in the long run. The word REDRUM, as stated previously was shown in chapter 4, it
is a key word in the book that is repeated countless of times. Every time this key word appears it
is accompanied by fear, Danny s fear. By introducing it so early into the story it pushed the
reader to ponder the words meaning and because of its sinister association every time it was
brought up more suspense was built up. It is later revealed that it was murder spelled in reverse.
In both texts the authors use an anti climax principle that is highly effective in creating suspense
in the viewer. It works for a system of false alarms followed by the real danger. An example of
this is during Jacks possession and he remembers that he had forgot to dump the boiler. There is a
race against the clock to save the hotel, which is already building up suspense with questions of
will he make it. As he dumps the boiler it seems that he had got there in time, this in turn takes the
tension away from the reader until suddenly the hotel blows. This is a good example of how
suspense is used to create

Kitty In Gaitskill s Tiny Smiling Daddy
In countless family relationships, there is some amount of disconnect between members. This
disconnection can sometimes be seen obviously, while other times it can be hidden or

Examples Of Duty Based Ethics
Duty Based Ethics
Duty based ethics can be defined as actions that (independent of consequences) are right or
wrong. Duty based ethics states that we are morally obligated to act in accordance with a certain
set of principles and rules regardless of outcome. We are all obliged to fulfill our duties and to act
to fulfill these duties (Shakil, 2014)
Nurse
In the film Nurse Evers played a major role in her involvement with the Tuskegee study. Ms. Evers
was assigned to monitor the experiment and to ensure the cooperation of the patients throughout the
time of the experiment. Although she had some apprehensions about the aims and necessities for
the study such as the lack of enlightening the patients of their conditions and the treatment for
syphilis, she thought that her job as a professional nurse was to follow the orders of the doctors.
According to the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics(2001), states that a nurse is required
to protect the public from misinformation and misrepresentation and to maintain the integrity of
nursing. Nurse Evers violated this principle of code of ethics when misinformed the patients about
their actual medical status and hiding information that there was no treatment for syphilis even
when the penicillin became available. Miss Evers found herself in an unfavorable predicament. She

Do no harm is also one of the most basic principles of the medical profession. In the movie Dr.
Broadus reminded the other doctor that the patients came first and emphasized do no harm . He
was outraged by the proposal to replace existing treatment with a placebo since the studies on white
men done in previous research only traced the cause of the disease. He didn t want to subject the
patients to the study without treating them. This showed that Dr. Broadus believed in his ethics as
a doctor to ensure no harm came to his patients.

Parks And Recreation Rhetorical Analysis
Have you ever watched a show you re so obsessed with at the moment that Netflix asks you: Are
you still watching? We ve all been there, Parks and Recreation is one of those shows that will end
up doing this. After this recent election, everyone seemed more concerned and involved in what
was happening politically. Everyone has their opinion on what they think is best for our country
and some don t like to be involved. In Parks and Recreation, real current events take place in the
show, causing the audience to relate to what s currently going on. For those that take politics into a
more humorous approach, in this political comedy televisionsitcom, people can enjoy how this

In Parks and Recreation, they have a comical way on how the government deals with problems
and uses real life scenarios that have occurred in the government. An example of a real life event
is when in the show they had the government shutdown in Pawnee which was inspired by the real
life global financial crisis of 2007 2008. In addition, the writers spent some time researching
local California politics and attended Los Angeles City Council meetings to have a better
understating of what goes on. In those meetings, they had the opportunity to observe community
hearings were attended only by those people that opposed, often upset, to the proposals under
consideration. This became a major component of the town hall scenes in Parks and Recreation.
In addition to political events, the characters also play a role in the government in this series.
The protagonist, Leslie Knope,is a deputy in Pawnee s Parks and Recreation Department of
Pawnee, later in the seasons she decides to campaign to be part of city council. She is
exceedingly optimistic and stay positive even when something doesn t work out. In addition, she
is firmly committed to the belief that government should provide a service for its people, and
regularly goes above and beyond for the benefits of Pawnee s residents. On the other hand, Ron
Swanson contradicts this belief, he is more of a staunch libertarian who feels all

Sarty was late with his good intentions. His father had started the fire and the barn begun to

one to make. Going against a loved one for the better good is not an easy decision to make.
Sarty s father Abner wanted him to keep a secret like my brother wanted me to keep a secret. Abner

The Act Of Resistance Of The Unseen
I believe it is better to do what pleases the real you before doing what would please a hypothetical
other. Because of this, the act of resistance that I most identify with is in Alif the Unseen, with
the choice of Dina to reject what she is supposed to do, and instead dress as she pleases. Her
decision to wear the Niqab as an expression of her devotion to sainthood, despite the fact that it
would make her worth less to others is a powerful one. Unlike Intisar, who veiled herself
elaborately as a mark of high class, Dina chose to do so to resist her expected role as the bare
faced, underpaid ornament to someone s office or nursery, and create for herself a world that
she finds beautiful (Wilson, 2012, p. 30). This relates to my life in how I reject the obligation to
always dress in a way that is expected of my gender, and instead present myself in a way that
pleases me, even if to others it may make me less valuable. Dina and I both place importance on
being our most authentic selves, even if doing so is not consistent with what our cultures would
want of us.
When I came to college, I wore my hair in long, caramel ringlets, often with a faux rose clipped in
the front. Within a few months, I donned a brushed back undercut, frequently accompanied by my
favorite button down and bow tie. I worked out as I had before; although now my goal was to
become stronger, not thinner. Soon, as many college students do, I became the proud owner of a

The term computer virus is often used as a blanket term for all types of malware. The opposite is
true. A computer virusis, simply, yet another type of malware, although one of the most common.
This paper will discuss several of the different types of malware, from viruses, to worms, to Trojan
horses, what exactly they are, the ways they are used to attack us, and ways to combat them.
Perhaps the most important in the fight against malware is the prevention of them. We will discuss
ways to prevent being infected by malware, by using programs ... Show more content on

The term computer virus is frequently used to describe any software that is used to cause damage
to the computer, although it is merely one type of malware. There are many types of malware
currently in use, and there will likely be many more created. Although there are many similarities
between the different types of malware, there are also many differences in the ways they are
created and the ways they behave.
Common Types of Malware
According to Nate Lord, in an article titled Common Malware Types , found on Infosec Island
(www.infosecisland.com), although the number of malware programs will make your head spin ,
some of the most common types of malware are: Spyware, Trojan Horse, Virus and Worm. Malware
is short for malicious software and is used as a broad term that refers to a variety of malicious
programs . (Lord, 2012)
Virus
A computer virus is a computer program that is usually hidden within another seemingly
innocuous program and that produces copies of itself and inserts them into other programs and
usually performs a malicious action (as destroying data) (www.merriam webster.com, 2015). The
traditional computer virus, as we know it, began to emerge in the 1980s, however, the first
detected computer virus, known as the Creeper Virus, in the early 1970s (Computer Virus, 2015).
The first personal computer virus to appear was in 1982, and was known as Elk Cloner . It attached

Diversity Personal Statement
In 1998, when my mother and I arrived at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, I
understood one thing about our big move. I understood that we had left our small village of
Bogoso, Ghana to escape harsh conditions and to cultivate a better life here in the land of the
free. I would be lying if I said that I immediately developed a genuine appreciation for my
Ghanaian heritage. The truth is, it took several years for me to appreciate the cultural, religious,
and ethnic aspects of who I was. Fearful that it would become an outcast amongst my American
peers, I spent the earlier parts of my life resisting my Ghanaian heritage and running from diversity.
As years went on, I realized that fitting into America meant being yourself and celebrating how you
got to where you were. By high school, fitting in meant experiencing more diversity and
determining what my convictions were. I joined the international baccalaureate program and
challenged myself in the classroom while celebrating diversity. I also began working with The

Taking a Look at Bacterial Gastroenteritis
1.The diagnosis is bacterial gastroenteritis, commonly known as food poisoning or the stomach flu .
Gastroenteritis is inflammation and swelling of the gastrointestinal track. Gastroenteritis can
usually caused by ingesting food contaminated with some bacteria. Furthermore, some common
causes of gastroenteritis include, shigella infection, cholera, and salmonella infection. There are
many symptoms of gastroenteritis, including diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain and vomiting
(Guerrant, Bobak, 1991). In addition, vomiting and diarrhea can cause dehydration, and children
are likely to get dehydrated more quickly. Thus, it is crucial to look for the signs of dehydration,
such as dry mouth, dry skin and decreased urine output. The doctor initiates the diagnosis by
performing a abdominal or rectal examination in order to eliminate the possibilities of pelvic
abscesses and inflammatory bowel disease (Guerrant, Bobak, 1991). In addition, the doctor uses a
stool culture to determine what bacteriaare responsible for causing the gastroenteritis (Guerrant,
Bobak, 1991).
2.The organism responsible for this disease is a strain of E.coli called E.coli 0157:H7. E.coli is a
gram negative rod that inhabit the human gastrointestinal track and mostly harmless. However, the
strain 0157 can produce powerful toxins that can lead to severe cases of food poisoning (Gould,
2010). The bacteria were first identified as a cause of foodborne illness in 1982 when an outbreak of

Han China (206 B.C.E. 220 C.E.), and Imperial Rome (31 B.C.E. 476 C.E.), were powerful and
influential civilizations whose fall had an everlasting impact on society. The inability to protect
borders and corrupt officials led to the fall of Han China and Imperial Rome. Unlike the Han,
Christianity tore Rome apart while Confucianism united China. The corruption of officials led to
the dismay of both Han China and Imperial Rome. In Han China, Wang Mang hoarded grain and
allowed his people to starve to death during poor harvest (EV H). He also allowed corruption,
while serving in office, by doing nothing to stop officials who were abusing his attempt to equalize

In Han China, the social beliefs of Confucianism brought China closer by teaching morals and
ethical principles (EV H). Confucianism brought upon social order and respect to China (EV H).
Unlike the Han, Christianity tore Imperial Rome apart. Christianity conflicted with Rome s beliefs
because Christians believe in spiritual peace. These beliefs conflicted with Rome s military virtues,
triggering conflicting opinions and divisions (EV R). Ultimately, Christianity weakened the Roman
Empire as opposed to Confucianism uniting Han China. In context, like the Han and the Roman,
the Gupta Empire fell for similar reasons. The Gupta fell for reasons such as from the invasions of
the White Hun, which drained the Guptas treasuries, similar to Han China who were invaded by
the Xiongnu and Imperial Rome by the Visigoths. Civil unrest is also a recurring factor in the fall
of all three mentioned civilizations. In conclusion, Han China and Imperial Rome both shared

Identify The Different Types Of Retainers
We all know that one day those braces will come off. At that time your orthodontist creates your
new retainer. We all know the retainer is an important part of the teeth straightening process. If you
do not wear the retainer prescribed by your orthodontist, your teeth will go back to their earlier
placement. Your teethwill line up exactly as they looked before you got braces. Your teeth are held
in place by periodontal ligaments. It takes a long time for the periodontal ligaments to adjust when
the teeth are straightened. Therefore, orthodontists created retainers to keep your teeth straight, in
perfect alignment. Basically, your orthodontist has a choice of three different types of retainers As
a patients this is not something you get to choose; the orthodontist chooses the best retainer for
each patient. Some of the retainers are removable and others are permanently attached. Retainers

McMurphy keeps the fog at bay from Chief and prevents him from being submerged in it again.
Chief is no longer subjugated to the complete control of Ratched due to McMurphy s therapy in
helping wean Chief off Ratched, thus allowing Chief to stay conscious of the events around him.
On the way to the fishing trip, McMurphy talks his way out of any situation that could be a
possible roadblock against their trip, such as the gas fillers that question the sanity/credibility of
the patients as a whole even showing the patients that acting crazy and lunatic can be to their
benefit (Kesey, 239). By acting crazy, the patients are no longer restrained by the unnerving sense
of uncertainity about everything and are able to set loose all the subdued emotions. Seeing this,
Chief lets loose as he can finally be himself around McMurphy, something that he hasn t been able
to do for a long time. Not only Chief, but all the patients gain a sense of confidence, something that
Ratched had tried to suppress in order to maintain ultimate control and prolong their stay at the
ward. Because of McMurphy s constant challenging of control of the ward through various staged

George Sorensen, one of the patients, has germaphobia. When one of the aides forced salve, a
thick, black, cleaning solution onto George s body, Knowing the mental suffering that George goes
through when else touches him, McMurphy engages in an altercation with the aides for furthering
the mental problems George has even though it is under the authorization of Ratched. Chief
follows suit and both are sent up to the Disturbed ward (274 5). By Chief s entering into the fight,

Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night
On november 8th I saw Simon Stephens The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time as
directed by Risa Brainin. Based on the novel by Mark Haddon, the play follows Christopher, a
15 year old autistic boy, as his struggle to figure out just who killed his neighbour s dog
developed. This riveting tale s many twists and turns wouldn t be the same without the many
creative elements involved. The ingenious set design brought the performance above and
beyond. When I first walked in, the set was relatively simple. There were two columns that went
up to the rafters, and three smaller columns of the same, iridescent, ribbed plastic. Both the taller
and shorter columns were on wheels and there were also several chairs on either side of the
stage. In the back of the stage was a large, window like structure that took up the rest of the stage.
Once the show started, the creativity in the set design became much clearer. A table would become

panes would turn yellow and brown, Christopher s least favorite colors, as the more unpleasant
parts of the plot were unveiled. Most importantly, it showed the inner workings of Christopher s

Facebook Is A Negative Influence On Our Youth
Facebook is a negative influence on our youth because it takes away privacy, creates exposure to
circumstances or thought s above their age, and has an influence of negative socializing
practices. Our youth s minds are easily influenced and what they perceive becomes the norm for
them throughout their life, making it difficult to change that mindset later in life. Facebook is a
non privacy site that allows anyone to be able to see a page and in many cases private aspects of
life posted to Facebook. Facebook has many ideas or thoughts that are not age appropriate posted
all over different pages that are easily accessible. Facebook also changes the socializationpractices
from meeting and spending time together to a more unsociable version of sending instant
messages. Facebook is an open book to someone s life depicting personal information, such as
addresses, ages, interests, family relations, and full names along with pictures. To a child this
breach of personal information is catastrophic due to child predators that use this information to
seduce a child into false comfort. Kids have always been exposed to risk, to embarrassing
themselves, to making bad judgment calls, but never before have those mistakes been so public

The Cathedral By Raymond Carver Essay
Cathedral Born on May 25, 1938 in Clatskanie, Oregon, Raymond Carver was destined to be a
writer. He was a son of a sawmill worker and grew up working hard majority of his life. He
married year after he finished high school and had two children with his wife at the time. He
raised and supported his children with normal working class jobs such as delivering, janitorial
and gas station services. Carver discovered his interest in writing after taking a creative writing
course in college in 1958. His first success was in 1967 from the story Will You Please Be Quiet,
Please? and ended up becoming a fulltime writer after losing his job at the time. He drank heavily
and had problems with alcoholism around the same time, but he shortly recovered from that and
started teaching at the University of Texas at El Paso and Syracuse University. A few years later
in 1983 he won a literary award which made him focus on his full time writing. His short story
collection consisted of What We Talk About When We Talk About Love, Cathedral, and Where I

and problems of the poor, broken marriages, and financial problems. He died at the age of 50 of

Each week, Social Underground will go over the newest episode of the hit show Mr. Robot.
There will be a recap of what happened, and then some commentary on what happened and where
the show might go next. Trying to figure out where this show goes is pretty difficult since there
are many plots that interweve. The good thing about that is having a show that s unpredictable. No
one like knowing the end of a season at the beginning. Looking at you Wayward Pines. 2 seasons
in a row! Ugh
Last week s episode was so full of weird stuff going on that at the end of it, I just sat there and
went, Wait, what just happened? It was like the entire episode went over my head, and that sort of
made me feel like an idiot. What happened the last few week s basically proved that the hack wasn

Multitask Research Paper
Findings regarding multitasking seems to be a lot of talk in Psychology. Theme four says that
humans are responsible limited agents and we have agency, meaning the ability to act as agents in
the world. This involves the ability to chose, but it is limited. This relates to multitasking.
Multitasking is the practice of doing multiple things at the same time (SGWN pg 135). Theme four
can relate to multitaskingbecause having agency implies not only we make choices but also that we
can change ourselves in some way. Theme four is relating to multitasking and saying that we have
the choice to multitask and do multiple things at one time even though there are limitations on how

This involves the ability to chose, but it is limited. I agree with that when it comes to
multitasking because you can chose what two tasks you re going to try to accomplish at once.
For example, if you chose to text and drive acting as agents in this world, that is your choice but
it is limited because you are limited to paying full attention to the road if you text and drive. For
example, as mentioned in SGWN with texting and driving, the drivers trying to multitask like
this become so engaged in their conversations that their minds no longer seemed to be in the car
(SGWN pg 135). This is a good example for the limited agency of theme four because the texting
and driving limits the driver from paying attention to what they need to. Likewise, I agree with
theme five as well. Theme five states that we are meaning seekers and we always make sense of
things. Also, we seek meaning through experience. I agree with this relating to multitasking
because people seek meaning through experience. With the example of the texting and driving,
someone could seek the meaning through the experience of texting and driving. As mentioned in
SGWN, legislature is trying to ban using mobile devices while driving (SGWN pg 135) and this is
all because of experiences and personal experience is a part of theme

Diet soda is generally considered a healthy alternative to their sugar filled counterparts. However,
many studies have begun to link the consumption of diet soda to several diseases and conditions,
including ironically diabetes and childhood obesity. Drinking diet sodas on a daily basis while

children at a year old, according to researchers at the University of Manitoba in Canada. Their

The Food and Drug Administration, or FDA, has approved five other types of artificial sweeteners
in the United States. These sweeteners are acesulfame potassium, sold as Sunett and Sweet One;
aspartame, sold as Equal, Nutrasweet and Sugar Twin; neotame, sold as Newtame; saccharin, sold
as Sweet N Low, Sweet Twin and Necta Sweet; and sucralose, sold as Splenda (LaMotte 2016).
These sweeteners are also used in diet sodas, and each improves upon the taste and health risks of
the last. However, the FDA also says that these sweeteners are safe when used in moderation,
meaning that their consumption is confirmed to be unhealthy when in excess. The variety and
uncertainty of these artificial sweeteners makes determining their effects substantially more
difficult, especially considering that they are frequently used in combination with each other to
make unique flavors and bring them closer to the taste of actual sugar. However, the FDA and
many other researchers have decided that a largely excessive consumption of artificial sweeteners

King Ludwig got married and a festival was held for the royal wedding. At the start, Oktoberfest
main focus was on horse races, however, more and more beer stands were popping up and then
beer tents started taking their place. In order for breweries to serve their beer in the event, the beer
had to be brewed in Munichand it also had to be in compliance with the Reinheitsgebot purity laws.
Today, Oktoberfests first focus is beer but, now, there are many rides and attractions to see while at
the fair.
Around the late 1800 s the birth of modern beer took place in response to commercial
refrigeration, pasteurization, automatic bottling and railroad transportation. Before the Modern
Era the average person only had access to beer through taverns because it would have been too
costly to individually bottle. They were stored in large barrels for the tavern and had a finite
shelf life. Transportation was also an issue before railroads because the large barrels were
burdensome to transport. Due to the hassle and cost of transportation, it was rare to see beer
outside town limits. In the modern era, beer could be bottled cheaper and pasteurized so it could
survive a longer rail journey in less than ideal temperatures. Beer was ... Show more content on

It was the year New Albion Brewing Co. was founded and is considered the birth, or rebirth
rather, of craft brewing. New Albion was founded after Jack McAuliffe was stationed in Europe
where he enjoyed quality beers there. After coming back to the U.S. he could only find the large
company lagers and decided he would create a brewery with a focus on quality and taste. The
brewery only lasted 6 years but the craft beer movement is still around to this day. Today there
are over 1800 craft breweries in the US and it is one of the fastest growing segments in beer with an
almost 19% growth rate for

Advantage And Disadvantage Of Decoder
ABSTRACT This paper focus on designing of efficient encoder and decoder blocks which are
aimed to reduce the power consumption in Network on Chip. The power consumption in NOC is
caused by the links, routers and network interfaces. This is caused because as the number of cores
in NOC increases the gap between the links decreases the coupling capacitance value increases due
to which the power consumption increases. The proposed scheme does not require any
modifications in router and link architecture and there is no network performance degradation. The
encoder is designed in such a way to calculate the power consumption and based on power value
the input data is encoded before transmission. The process of encoding can be done before
transmitting the data from one processing element to the other processing... Show more content on

Size. The Integrated circuits consisting of both transistors and wires are shrunk to micrometer
sizes, compared to the millimeter or centimeter sizes of discrete components. Smaller size
components lead to smaller parasitic resistance, capacitance which in deed reduces the power
consumption and improves the speed. Speed. Signals switching between logic 0 and logic 1 is
much quicker within a chip than compared between chips. Communication within a chip is
hundreds of times faster than the communication between chips on a printed circuit board.
Generally the high speed of circuit s on chip is due to their small size smaller components and
wires have smaller parasitic capacitances to slow down the signal. Power consumption. The power
consumption in Integrated circuits can be done mainly due to switching activity (logic 0 to logic1)
which increases the capacitances value. The integrated circuit having less power consumption is
preferable and provides huge life time. INTEGRATED CIRCUIT

Character Sketch Of Draupadi
The above lines clearly elucidates the character of Draupadi as a fiery female, redefines the role
of women, issue of subjectivity can be witnessed and her psychological makeup is evident
clearly. It creates an admired feminine portrait which is both modern and timeless. Panchaali
wallows in anger and helplessness when Kunti come to a decision that all her five sons should
join in matrimony with Draupadi. She presumes that Arjun would stand up for her and speak up
for her that she is only married to him. But Draupadi is disillusioned by him for he abides by his
mother s wish and doesn t say anything. While Draupadi s father, brother and the Pandavas
examine about the practicality of Draupadi espousing five brothers, their focal point is family
honour and customs. Not even a single person gives eminence to Draupadi s desires. The depiction
of Draupadi as an angry woman in a man s world brings out the status of women in a patriarchal
society where women s wishes are not considered as important. She justifies this lifetime sentence
by remunerating that probably this was her punishment for treating Karna unfairly.... Show more

miserable situation. However, she fulfils the sentence. Therefore, one sees her bound by duty to her

Persuasive Essay On Dental Care
We all have 32 teeth in our mouth and they are indispensable. The tooth, in itself, consists of two
parts: the root buried in the bone and the crown that is in the oral cavity. In addition, the cost of a
quality brush is now quite low compared to the many benefits.
Dental care can help in many cases: to restore a devitalized tooth, to cover and support a tooth
that has a large filling when there is not much left healthy material, to protect a weakened tooth,
to cover a dental implant it is fixed with cement or is glued, to restore a broken cracked or very
worn tooth and to cover a poorly formed or discolored tooth. Dental care is usually reimbursed by
insurance.
The gum is the part of the oral mucosa that covers the maxillary bone and the mandible at the
level of the tooth implantation area. First of all, let s give you a little reminder of what dental care
is and why it is needed. Remember, many dental practices also offer periodontal dentistry, which is
gum care.
Regular brushing of the teeth allows removal of plaque. Today, the brush does almost everything
alone. The purpose of these devices is to eliminate food residues and dental plaque in the most
inaccessible areas of the mouth.
Different instruments allow to get rid of tartar. That s why dentists today almost unanimously
recommend the use of the electric toothbrush. Its micro pulsations and rotational movements are the
enemy of tartar. The tartar is then taken off. It is therefore an effective preventive weapon

The Transition to Parenthood Essay
The Transition to Parenthood Section 1: The case study Today, in western industrialized nations,
the decision whether or not to have children is, as Berk (2004) describes it a ....matter of
individual choice (p.460). This contrasts with many non western nations where what Michaels
(1988, cited in Berk, 2004) describes childbearing as, ...an unavoidable cultural demand (p.460).
Research on the New Zealand population suggests that couples are having children at a much
later phase of life. The median age for a woman to give birth is now 30.3 years, compared with
her counterpart in the early 1970 s who gave birth at 24.9 years. There is also an increasing amount
of individuals foregoing parenthood altogether. Statistics also show a... Show more content on

Sally developed a relaxed routine of cooking, cleaning, reading and resting and Harry enjoyed
Sally s happy disposition and became accustomed to the routine. The couple rarely discussed
how a new baby would impact their lives. Baby Edward was born two weeks past his due date
and had initial breathing difficulties. Although doctors stated there was nothing for them to
worry about, Harry and Sally still felt anxious about their child s health and felt it their
responsibility to be proactive and keep Edward close to them at all times to monitor and tend to
his needs promptly. They decided to place his bassinet alongside their bed at night and kept him
in the lounge during the day so when he cried they could attend quickly. Sally spent the majority
of her time inside the house perfecting the art of breastfeeding, bathing and getting to know and
care for her baby which she enjoyed. In support of this Harry tended to the cooking and other
domestic duties both inside and outside the house. Harry stayed at home for the first week after
the birth, but difficulties his company was facing left Harry feeling obligated to return to work.
Sally s mother Dot (aged 66) offered to stay for a few weeks and help out. Dot cooked, cleaned,
offered praise and encouraged Sally to rest. Although enjoying time with her daughter and grandson,

These claims on banks can act as money because they are negotiable or repayable on demand, and
hence valued at par. They are effectively transferable by mere delivery, in the case of banknotes, or
by drawing a cheque that the payee may bank or cash. 2. Netting and settlement of payments banks
act as both collection and paying agents for customers, participating in interbank clearing and
settlement systems to collect, present, be presented with, and pay payment instruments. This
enables banks to economies on reserves held for settlement of payments, since inward and outward
payments offset each other. It also enables the offsetting of payment flows between geographical
areas, reducing the cost of settlement between them. 3. Credit intermediation banks borrow and
lend back to back on their own account as middle men. 4. Credit quality improvement banks lend
money to ordinary commercial and personal borrowers (ordinary credit quality), but are high
quality borrowers. The improvement comes from diversification of the bank s assets and capital
which provides a buffer to absorb losses without defaulting on its obligations. However, banknotes
and deposits are generally unsecured; if the bank gets into difficulty and pledges assets as security,
to raise the funding it needs to continue to operate, this puts the note holders and depositors in an
economically subordinated position.

Similarities Between Headmaster And Frederick Douglass
Struggling with Slavery: Life of Frederick Douglass vs. Roots
Kunta Kinte and Frederick Douglass with extremely contrasting backgrounds, resulting in
different lives down the road. Although they are not very similar in results or background they
are both explaining how slavery worked and why it was wrong for people to have slaves.
Frederick Douglass had a privileged life because he was a house boy, but Kunta as a field hand
did not have many privileges. For example, because Frederick Douglass was a house boy he got
better clothing, food and shelter than Kunta who had rags as clothes and very little food. On a
completely different note, the gist of both stories include facts about the harsh punishments created

On one hand, Frederick was born a slave in America and raised as a Christian on a plantation
without knowledge of his family. Douglass stated, I was born in Tuckahoe, near Hillsborough,
and about twelve miles from Easton in Talbot county, Maryland (Douglass, 1). This piece of
evidence is showing where he is from and where his journey began. But on the other hand, Kunta
was born free in Africa within his Mandinka village of Juffure, he was raised learning the muslim
faith living off the Gambia River and he knew his family. At the beginning of the movie they had
shown Kunta Kinte in his Mandinka village going through man training, this also showed his
family which tells you that he knew where he was from and the people surrounding him.
Furthermore, Kunta had to cross the Atlantic Ocean and go through all the stages of becoming a
slave and Frederick Douglass was just born into slavery. As a matter of fact the movie showed the
journey for Kunta and how tough it was for him while the book portrayed a subtle more laid
back city slave lifestyle. Also, in the movie Kunta had fiddler to rely on and to act as a best friend
but in the book it did not speak of any friends for Frederick Douglass. This was probably because
he felt he was higher up than the other slaves and he even made them feel inferior or it is simply
because nobody wanted to be associated with a troubled

acceptable measurement based on the evaluation from different sources. By analyzing the
Derogative Stress Profile, this is the possible test and obtains a source of information in
assessing the homeless people in regarding their psychological situation. Homeless people are in
a distressed situation, in the sense; they have to think how they will survive each day. They do
not have a source of income, a place to live, are unkempt, and no stable place to stay or sleep.
Based on their situation, their psychological situation appears compromised. The second tool
that is also appropriate for homeless people is the Beck Depression Inventory. Beck Depression
Inventory is a series of questions developed to measure the intensity, severity, and depth of
depression in patients with psychiatric depression . (Beck, 1984). This measurement consists of
21 questionnaires and each with 4 responses needed. Each response corresponds to a score, from
zero to three, to indicate for the severity of depression. The questions consist of an assessment of
self dissatisfaction, pessimism, mood swings, the feeling of failure, guilt, dislike of oneself,
blaming one s self, the feeling of punishing self, suicidal ideation, irritability, crying spells,

  • 3. Lactase Experiment The results of the experiment vary from what is reported by previous studies (Curry, 2013, Enattah et al., 2002, Tishkoff, 2007). The experiment was conducted on students currently in the Biology 225 course in Schenectady, NY. The class was primarily composed of individuals whom are descendants of Europe. Therefore, an assumption was made that by in large, the percentage of lactasepersistent in the class that was expected was going to be near 95% (Curry, 2013). However, such a high percentage was not found. Of the class, only 49.3% of individuals were determined to possess a genotypethat results in a phenotype of lactase persistence. Conversely, 40.8% of the class was found to carry the genotype lct/lct which results in the phenotype of lactase non persistence. Therefore, the results are nearly 50% off from what we expected initially. This could be for numerous reasons, but perhaps the assumption should not have been made. The results fit much better when compared to the world average occurrence of lactase persistence. Curry notes that out of all individuals over the age of 8 years old, only 35% still possess the ability to digest and breakdown the lactose in dairy products (2013). The results do fit closer to the world average, therefore indicating that the assumption may have been wrong, the results of the experiment still do not necessarily indicate whether the total population of students in the Spring 2016 Biology 225 class fits the societal model where there is a ... Individuals who are against this choice in life say that the thirty percent statistic is flawed because it was calculated by a man who was a known homosexual. Historians are concerned with the continuous, methodical narrative and research of past events as relating to the human race; as well as the study of all history in time. History, in its broadest sense, is the totality of all past events, although a more realistic definition would limit it to the known past. Standard reference works are often used to check facts. Scientific facts are verified by repeatable experiments. E. H. Carr in his 1961 volume, what is History? argues that the inherent biases from the gathering of facts makes the objective truth of any historical perspective idealistic and impossible. Facts are, like fish in the Ocean, of which we may only happen to catch a few, only an indication of what is below the surface. Even a dragnet cannot tell us for certain what it would be like to live below the Ocean s surface. Even if we do not discard any facts (or fish) presented, we will always miss the majority; the site of our fishing, the methods undertaken, the weather and even luck play a vital role in what we will catch. Additionally, the composition of history is inevitably made up by the compilation of many different bias of fact finding all compounded over time. He concludes that for a historian to attempt a more objective method, one must accept that history can only aspire to a conversation of the present with the past and that one s methods of fact gathering should be openly examined. As with science, historical truth and facts will therefore change over time and reflect only the present consensus (if that). A historical fact is a fact ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

However, there is a form of discrimination that is often invisible to the public eye and did not even have a proper name until 1981 (FWD Forward). This form of discrimination affects many Americans everyday. This type of discriminationis known as ableism. Although the characters are faced with a horrific dilemma in two very different settings, the techniques used to create suspense can be similar. In The Shining the hotel is mentioned within the first chapter, as Jack is being interviewed. However, it is only until chapter 4 that the reader is allowed a glimpse of the terrible things to come. Delaying the suspense allows for proper character development which will prove important in the long run. The word REDRUM, as stated previously was shown in chapter 4, it is a key word in the book that is repeated countless of times. Every time this key word appears it is accompanied by fear, Danny s fear. By introducing it so early into the story it pushed the reader to ponder the words meaning and because of its sinister association every time it was brought up more suspense was built up. It is later revealed that it was murder spelled in reverse. In both texts the authors use an anti climax principle that is highly effective in creating suspense in the viewer. It works for a system of false alarms followed by the real danger. An example of this is during Jacks possession and he remembers that he had forgot to dump the boiler. There is a race against the clock to save the hotel, which is already building up suspense with questions of will he make it. His father had started the fire and the barn begun to burn. The men showed up at the barn firing at Abner. knowing it was too late yet still running even after he heard the shot and, an instant later, two shots, pausing now without knowing he had ceased to run, Pap! • 26. The Act Of Resistance Of The Unseen I believe it is better to do what pleases the real you before doing what would please a hypothetical other. Because of this, the act of resistance that I most identify with is in Alif the Unseen, with the choice of Dina to reject what she is supposed to do, and instead dress as she pleases. Her decision to wear the Niqab as an expression of her devotion to sainthood, despite the fact that it would make her worth less to others is a powerful one. Unlike Intisar, who veiled herself elaborately as a mark of high class, Dina chose to do so to resist her expected role as the bare faced, underpaid ornament to someone s office or nursery, and create for herself a world that she finds beautiful (Wilson, 2012, p. 30). This relates to my life in how I reject the obligation to always dress in a way that is expected of my gender, and instead present myself in a way that pleases me, even if to others it may make me less valuable. Dina and I both place importance on being our most authentic selves, even if doing so is not consistent with what our cultures would want of us. When I came to college, I wore my hair in long, caramel ringlets, often with a faux rose clipped in the front. Within a few months, I donned a brushed back undercut, frequently accompanied by my favorite button down and bow tie. I worked out as I had before; although now my goal was to become stronger, not thinner. Soon, as many college students do, I became the proud owner of a permanent piece of body art. As I ... I understood that we had left our small village of Bogoso, Ghana to escape harsh conditions and to cultivate a better life here in the land of the free. I would be lying if I said that I immediately developed a genuine appreciation for my Ghanaian heritage. The truth is, it took several years for me to appreciate the cultural, religious, and ethnic aspects of who I was. Fearful that it would become an outcast amongst my American peers, I spent the earlier parts of my life resisting my Ghanaian heritage and running from diversity. As years went on, I realized that fitting into America meant being yourself and celebrating how you got to where you were. By high school, fitting in meant experiencing more diversity and determining what my convictions were. • 29. Taking a Look at Bacterial Gastroenteritis 1.The diagnosis is bacterial gastroenteritis, commonly known as food poisoning or the stomach flu . Gastroenteritis is inflammation and swelling of the gastrointestinal track. Gastroenteritis can usually caused by ingesting food contaminated with some bacteria. Furthermore, some common causes of gastroenteritis include, shigella infection, cholera, and salmonella infection. There are many symptoms of gastroenteritis, including diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain and vomiting (Guerrant, Bobak, 1991). In addition, vomiting and diarrhea can cause dehydration, and children are likely to get dehydrated more quickly. Thus, it is crucial to look for the signs of dehydration, such as dry mouth, dry skin and decreased urine output. The doctor initiates the diagnosis by performing a abdominal or rectal examination in order to eliminate the possibilities of pelvic abscesses and inflammatory bowel disease (Guerrant, Bobak, 1991). In addition, the doctor uses a stool culture to determine what bacteriaare responsible for causing the gastroenteritis (Guerrant, Bobak, 1991). 2.The organism responsible for this disease is a strain of E.coli called E.coli 0157:H7. E.coli is a gram negative rod that inhabit the human gastrointestinal track and mostly harmless. We all know the retainer is an important part of the teeth straightening process. If you do not wear the retainer prescribed by your orthodontist, your teeth will go back to their earlier placement. Your teethwill line up exactly as they looked before you got braces. Your teeth are held in place by periodontal ligaments. This relates to multitasking. Multitasking is the practice of doing multiple things at the same time (SGWN pg 135). Theme four can relate to multitaskingbecause having agency implies not only we make choices but also that we can change ourselves in some way. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This involves the ability to chose, but it is limited. I agree with that when it comes to multitasking because you can chose what two tasks you re going to try to accomplish at once. For example, if you chose to text and drive acting as agents in this world, that is your choice but it is limited because you are limited to paying full attention to the road if you text and drive. For example, as mentioned in SGWN with texting and driving, the drivers trying to multitask like this become so engaged in their conversations that their minds no longer seemed to be in the car (SGWN pg 135). This is a good example for the limited agency of theme four because the texting and driving limits the driver from paying attention to what they need to. Likewise, I agree with theme five as well. Theme five states that we are meaning seekers and we always make sense of things. Also, we seek meaning through experience. I agree with this relating to multitasking because people seek meaning through experience. With the example of the texting and driving, someone could seek the meaning through the experience of texting and driving. As mentioned in SGWN, legislature is trying to ban using mobile devices while driving (SGWN pg 135) and this is all because of experiences and personal experience is a part of theme ... At the start, Oktoberfest main focus was on horse races, however, more and more beer stands were popping up and then beer tents started taking their place. The power consumption in NOC is caused by the links, routers and network interfaces. The proposed scheme does not require any modifications in router and link architecture and there is no network performance degradation. • 43. Persuasive Essay On Dental Care We all have 32 teeth in our mouth and they are indispensable. The tooth, in itself, consists of two parts: the root buried in the bone and the crown that is in the oral cavity. In addition, the cost of a quality brush is now quite low compared to the many benefits. Dental care can help in many cases: to restore a devitalized tooth, to cover and support a tooth that has a large filling when there is not much left healthy material, to protect a weakened tooth, to cover a dental implant it is fixed with cement or is glued, to restore a broken cracked or very worn tooth and to cover a poorly formed or discolored tooth. Dental care is usually reimbursed by insurance. The gum is the part of the oral mucosa that covers the maxillary bone and the mandible at the level of the tooth implantation area. First of all, let s give you a little reminder of what dental care is and why it is needed. Remember, many dental practices also offer periodontal dentistry, which is gum care. Regular brushing of the teeth allows removal of plaque. Today, the brush does almost everything alone. At the beginning of the movie they had shown Kunta Kinte in his Mandinka village going through man training, this also showed his family which tells you that he knew where he was from and the people surrounding him. Furthermore, Kunta had to cross the Atlantic Ocean and go through all the stages of becoming a slave and Frederick Douglass was just born into slavery. As a matter of fact the movie showed the journey for Kunta and how tough it was for him while the book portrayed a subtle more laid back city slave lifestyle. Also, in the movie Kunta had fiddler to rely on and to act as a best friend but in the book it did not speak of any friends for Frederick Douglass.
