This document provides a comparative analysis of the urban spaces of Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Colaba Causeway in Mumbai, India. It analyzes the social activities, contact point types, contact intensity, and human-scale design between the two areas based on Jan Gehl's theories of urban design. The analysis finds that Jalan TAR has more pedestrian-focused contact points and human-scale design compared to Colaba Causeway, which relies more heavily on public transportation and has fewer provisions for pedestrian comfort and activity between buildings.
