- 2. Why Nitrox? • Fewrecent advances have had as much as impact on divers as: – Enriched Air Nitrox. – Nitrox programmable dive computers. • Nitrox lets divers enjoy: – Longer bottom times. – Shorter surface intervals.
- 3. Nitrox Dive Computers •Greatly simplify planning for and tracking Nitrox divers’ exposure to: – Reduced levels of nitrogen. – Elevated levels of oxygen. • At the same time Nitrox computers provide all of the other benefits associated with dive computers.

- 5. In This Course… •You’ll learn to use Nitrox mixes with oxygen content of 22%-40%. • You will not be limited to just one or two specific Nitrox mixes. • As with all SDI courses, you’ll learn to use dive computers as your primary planning and recording tool.

- 10. 1. Among theterms divers may use when referring to Nitrox are: •Enriched Air. • Oxygen Enriched Air. •Enriched Air Nitrox. • NOAA Nitrox I and II.
