Compare And Contrast Ford And Nixon Speech
President Richard Nixon resigned from office in 1974 which led to President Gerald Ford taking his
place. The day of Nixon s resignation he made a speech to the American people. This speech was to
let America know that this was the best thing he could do for the country. The next day Ford was
sworn into office and he also gave a speech. This speech shared a similar purpose to the speech given
by Nixon the day before. The purposes of these two speeches, although were given for different
things, were very similar. Nixon was involved with the Watergate scandal which led to his
impeachment. Nixon s speech to America was given a purpose, and this was to let the people of his
country know that this may not be ideal, but it was best. It states

Hazard Mitigation Case Study
1) What mitigation processes have been implemented (if any) since the disaster occurred? (If no, or
very few, mitigation processes have been implemented, explain why you think this is the case.)
In 2014, after what was arguably the most devastating natural disaster to impact the Northeast coast of
the US, the Village of Freeport, NY Planning Committee reviewed previous hazard data and
conducted a risk assessment to identify and profile those hazards that pose a risk to the Village (All

Moíses Kaufman s Work
Moíses Kaufman was born on November 21, 1963 in Caracas, Venezuela. He was born to his parents

religion and academics all in one. Even though Moíses would eventually cease to practice Orthodox
Judaism, he valued its lessons on Talmudic scholarship, especially taking a sentence from the Bible
and analyzing it twenty different ways. He used those skills to help write his plays later on in his life.

Valley Of The Kings Essay
The Valley of the Kings is a valley in Luxor, Egypt, built by the Ancient Egyptians. These tombs
houses many of the kings and powerful nobles of the New Kingdom. Ancient Egyptians are known
conserving and protecting the bodies of their kings. In order to conserve their kings, queens, and
nobles the people built the solid rock tombs of the Valley of the Kings. It is believed in the ancient
Egyptian mythology that the dead should be buried in a place that could connect between this life and
the underworld, the world of the dead. This is the place where the transformation and regeneration of
the king will take place. The location of the Valley of the Kings is perfect for this purpose. It also
offers an excellent environment for mummification. In order for dressed pharaohs to get to the
underworld a number of text were written on the walls of his or her tomb such as excerpts from the
Book of That Which Is in the Underworld, , the Book of Gates, , Book of Day ,the Book of Night, as
well as the Book of the Heavenly Cow, All the tombs in the valley were cleared out in antiquity.

Cost Allocation And Cost Management
Cost Allocation Almost every single company that is in business faces a serious problem called cost
allocation. Every company no matter what they sell or what service they provide faces the problem of
allocating costs to defined cost objects. The cost allocation process is a very hard process for most.
Cost allocation is a very complex and difficult procedure that requires the application of appropriate
accounting procedures. These accounting methods sometimes will not provide objective and fair cost
allocation because they have irrational bases that are not always reliable or appropriate. This is why
accounting theory and practice steadily try to advance upon methods that are already in place and help
develop new ones that could provide objective and fair cost allocation (Perčević Dražić, 2008). Cost
allocation is a very crucial procedure for many companies not just production companies, but also in
companies that provide service. Cost allocation has one purpose and that is to enable the
determination of the cost of a product per unit in production companies and the cost of a provided
service in service companies. Therefore, methods for cost allocation directly affect the service or
product profitability assessment and at the same time sway segment and company profitability. The
main problem is the choice of the cost allocation accounting approach. There are certain methods for
cost allocation that do not apply the same to every company. If the method for

John F Kennedy Jfk Assassination Analysis
Political assassinations tend to cause an uproar in society. They have been around since the beginning
of politics. The definition of assassination means to kill someone of importance for political or
religious reasons. Well known people that have been assassinated are Archduke Franz Ferdinand,
Martin Luther King Jr., and Abraham Lincoln. Political assassinations have also been expressed in
literature as well. Many books, recent and ancient, have been written about assassinating a public
figure. The assassination of the 35th president, John F. Kennedy, can be related to the assassination of
the fictional King Duncan of Scotland in Shakespeare s Macbeth through analysis of literature and
historical events. John F. Kennedy was born on May 29, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The biggest theory was that there were multiple shooters, one in a building and one shooting from a
grassy knoll. Other people believe that the mafia or some higher power was involved with the
assassination by making Oswald take the blame and then kill him before he talked. The Warren
Commission was in charge of investigating the murder, and ruled that there was only the single
gunman, Lee Harvey Oswald. Despite the Warren Commission s statement,Americans still came to
their own conclusions about how Kennedy s death took place,( Assassination of John F. Kennedy ).
King Duncan s assassination was similar to John F. Kennedy s, yet not so public. Duncan was killed
by Macbeth with a knife while he was sleeping after dinner. He had been visiting Macbeth s residence
in celebration of Macbeth s new title of Thane of Cawdor. Macbeth, already power hungry for the
thrown, decided to murder the king for his power. Macbeth then framed the guards and gave the
evidence to Lady Macbeth to dispose of. The next morning, the body of the late king was discovered
along with the bodies of his guards, to which Macbeth explained that he killed out of rage for killing

Examples Of Structuralist Film Theory
B. Theories From a different angle of view, the ultimate aim of culture/media theories is to provide
theoretical/academic foundation to different genres within art and media. Likewise, there are several
film theories aiming to provide theoretical framework to different genres within motion picture.
Besides, these theories help to perceive the relationship between other genres within art and
Hollywood movies.
Structuralist Film Theory One can easily identify that this theory is interconnected with structuralism,
especially related to structural linguistics. This theory claims that directors basically make use of
different codes to construct meaning. For instance, different scenes are combined into a single story
with the help of editing. If editing is not done, the viewers cannot perceive the directors codes or
ideas. But in Hollywood films, utmost importance is given to editing because the directors know that
editing can provide spontaneity to their films as a whole.
Post structuralist Film Theory One can see that Post structuralism is basically an extension of
structuralism, but with differences. For instance, a viewer ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The films produced during this time period provided ample importance to group activities related to
Marxism. For instance, films produced under Marxist influence provided ample importance to
working class struggles and related class wars. So, one can see that Marxist Film Theory tries to
explore the scope of group mentality, providing less importance to individual heroism. On the other
side, corporate overtone can be seen in Hollywood movies, which is totally against Marxist ideology.
Still, some traces of Marxism can be seen in the movies by Hollywood directors like James Cameron.
In short, Marxist Film Theory attempts to evaluate the scope of motion picture from Marxist view

Fundamental Principles of Adult Education Essay
Fundamental Principles of Adult Education

Abstract
Part of being a good, quality educator is to learn the learning styles of the students and adapt to those
forms of learning. Adult learning is growing, more and more are going to college at later stages in life.
Out of the 35 people, there will be many different learning styles. Malcom Knowles is known for
defining characteristics of adult learning.
Malcom Knowles
Malcom Knowles studied in the field of adult learning. His main goal was to develop a theory about

To learn is obviously a mental process, but how a person learns needs to be determined. Some people
have a more hands on approach to learning, while others are visual learners. An example would be
someone who had dyslexia and sees things backwards; they need different instructions to take in the
information. Also, people act differently. An example would be myself, I have ADHD. I do not like to
sit for long periods of time because I just can t keep my concentration. Keeping the attention of such
an age span could pose problems. Keeping lectures short, mixing things up, taking a break could all be
ways to make sure everyone s able to pay attention and get the most out of the teachings.
Sociocultural
The world that we live in shapes the people we are, how we do things, and how we live. Cultures
dictate a lot of learning, as does family status. People that have families live busy lives. A traditional
family today now has two working parents, along with kids. If they are taking classes in addition to
their hectic schedule they don t have time to waste, are focused and determined. Whereas, a twenty
year old with no wife and no children is more likely the one to put less effort into the homework, more
likely to miss class, and more likely to do the minimal amount of work to get by. Teaching methods
must encourage all ages, cultures, and races.
Cognitive
Cognitive learning is how the brain processes information. All ages

and one woman are very different from the previous team. One of the new team members Dr. Kutner

characteristics not associated with masculinity are observed in him. The episode revealing his death

not show his vulnerable side because it is interpreted in our society as feminine and getting help for
personal problems is not the manly thing to do. Because Kutner did not show his problems he pushed
himself to suicide. The other members of the team are Doctor Hadley and Doctor Taub. Dr. Taub is a
short balding doctor. He frequent cheats on his wife, but not because he believes that he should,
instead Taub is not strong enough to stop cheating. He is seen as weak and very often both he and Dr.

Politics And Power Motifs In Julius Caesar
Abraham Lincoln once stated Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man s
character, give him power. In Lincoln s statement a key term is power, which means the ability or right
to control people or things. Another important term in Lincoln s statement is adversity, which means a
difficult situation or condition. Taken as a whole, Lincoln means that all men can handle a difficult
period by themselves easily, but when someone has power and battles a situation it makes a person
corrupt and harder to handle situations. This is because when you have power it is easier to do the
wrong thing. Furthermore, Lincoln implies in his statement that power defines a person and power can
change a person, most of the time for the bad. Finally, when looked under the lens of William
Shakespeare s tragedy Julius Caesar, Abraham Lincoln s statement can be proven true through
Shakespeare s development of the politics and power motif. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

not see the bigger picture and he believes he is more rounded than Cassius. Brutus should not be the
one to make that call since he does not know politics he knows law. This affects the work as a whole
because when Brutus let Antony speak he turned all the people against the conspirators and made the
conspirators run away in fear for their life. This example clearly shows that the Lens is true because it

Pros And Cons Of Dystopian Novels
A perfect society, where nothing bad ever happens, and within the blink of an eye and one false move,
it all collapses. This type of novel is called a Dystopian, or bad place in Greek. The premise is to have
what seems like a perfect society, but because of the rules that make it perfect, it all falls into chaos.
Some such stories are The Hunger Games , and The Time Machine , because there is a set of rules that

happen if certain events continue to happen. Dystopian novels might impact the future, be it positively

Trust can be defined as assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or

There are in Othello, as in life, many different types of love, with some characters displaying different
sorts of love depending on with whom they are sharing their love. Probably The Senate scene should
be studied carefully in order to reach an adequate appreciation of the frankly declared love of these
newly wedded people. Only by realizing the great depth of their love can one grasp the enormity of
Iago s hideous crime against them. Some of the commentators tell us that it was a love in which one
great soul called to another, but each reader must find his own evidence of such a love in the lines of
the play. Careful study will convince him that theirs was a greater, deeper love than the impetuous
love of Romeo and Juliet or the impassioned love of Antony and Cleopatra. (82)
Daringly, Shakespeare opens this tragedy of love not with a direct and sympathetic portrayal of the
lovers themselves, but with a scene of vicious insinuation about their marriage. The images employed
by Iago to describe the coupling of Othello and Desdemona are revoltingly animalistic, sodomistic. [. .
.] This degraded view reduces the marriage to one of utter carnality, with repeated emphasis on the
word gross : Desdemona has yielded to the gross clasps of the lascivious Moor, and has made a gross
revolt against her family and society (II.129, 137). (218)

there were also lots of historically accurate events that occurred throughout the book. On the contrary,
though, there were also a couple of dull and fictional events throughout the story. Anyhow, I would

went blind afterwards. As described in the book, the Church bombing happened in Birmingham,
Alabama, 1963 and well as the four girls who were killed. Hereafter, I also discovered that the racial
events in the book to be true. According to socialwelfarehistory.com, the 1950 s and 60 s were a time
of segregation. Specifically, it was a time where slavery was ending, but the whites were not satisfied,
so they decided to pass laws that mandated Separate but equal ; likewise, the laws meant that black
people had to attend separate schools and churches, use public bathrooms marked for Colored Only ,
ate in a separate section of a restaurant, and had to sit in the rear of a bus. As described in the book,
the father mentions a Coloreds Only bathroom, but it would ve been nicer if the author mentioned
about the segregation to better explain the timeline. Though the author did a very well job on using
history throughout the book, there was still some parts that are quite indeed fiction. For example, the
main characters, Kenny and his family (the Watsons), are pure fiction. To summarize, I believe that the

announcements. Everyday they say Please all rise and stand a respectful, silent attention for the
playing of our national anthem. This has been routine for years. During a conversation between Dr.
Palleni and Philip in the assistants principal s office shows that he could have owned up to his actions,
but decided to stand next to his decision. ...What do you say, Phil, you get up, go back there, and

Life In The Middle Class
The life of living in the middle class can be stressful. There are so many ways that middle class
parents raise their children. I see the middle class being like a club. If you want in here are a few
things you have to do kind of club. Middle class is defined either by education (college degree) or by

Chapter 5 Questions for Thought 1. Explain the reasoning behind the wintertime expression, Clear
moon, frost soon ? On clear, calm nights, objects and the earth surface cools off by emitting infrared
radiation. This cooling effect is more rapid on clear night than cloudy nights since there is no clouds to
emit back to the surface. Hence the phrase clear moon, frost soon . The cool surface is then mixed
with air above it, which will eventually cool to the dew point and water vapor will appear on the
cooled surfaces. If the temperature continues to fall in the freezing range then the dew will freeze and
frost will form. 2. Explain why icebergs are frequently surrounded by fog? Fog surround icebergs due

advection fog in early spring? During autumn in the northern hemisphere it is safe to say the air is
likely to be cold while large body of water such as lake are slow to emit their heat away. When the
cold air moves over the warmer water steam fog is produced. In early spring, if there is significantly
cooler difference between the cold surface and the air above the cold surface then the warm air is
chilled and advection fog is created. Pg120 122 11. The air temperature during the night cools to the
dew point in a deep layer, producing fog. Before the fog formed, the air temperature cooled each hour
about 2 C. After the fog, the air temperature cooled by only 0.5 C each hour. Give two reasons why
the air cooled more slowly after the fog formed? During the night the air is cooled more slowly
because the fog traps the infrared energy that is emitted from the earth and secondly, latent heat is
released as fog is formed.pg 124 12. On

God, God And The Creator Of The Earth And Living Things
The definition of the word religion is known as the belief or worship of a superior power, which can
be known as God. God plays a major role within many different religions. However, religions with
similar beliefs can differ in numerous ways as well. For instance, both the Jewish and Christian
scriptures share a few beliefs in common. Both scriptures identify the belief of one God, who is
almighty and the creator of the earth and living things. Both scriptures express the understanding that
the Earth is God s domain in which God demands that all humans act according to God s
commandments and they will be redeemed in the eyes of the Lord. They also follow the belief that
there will be a coming of the Messiah, along with a doctrine of ... Show more content on

The Law, also known as the Torah contains the Five Books of Moses. These stories are about God s
creation of the world, and the relationship between God and Israel or God and man. One of the central
points in the Bible s account of the relationship between Israel and God is known as the covenant. The
word covenant can be translated to mean treaty or alliance. For example, in the book of Genesis, God
had promised Noah he would not send another flood to destroy the world. God throughout all of these
stories has a personal name, represented in Hebrew by four consonants: YHWH. Since there are no
vowels, no one is certain on how to pronounce it. Many Jews consider the name too sacred to
pronounce. In the Ten Commandments it even states that God s name should never be taken in vain.
Most modern Jews today when reading the Tanakh substitute the word Adonai for YHWH. Compared
to the Christian scriptures, Judaism does not believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah. Judaism follows
the beliefs that God is a higher being. Judaism uses its sacred books to understand the teachings of
God and what he requires of all of his people. For Christianity, the sacred books of Judaism are taken
as a precaution for the divination of God through Christ that is portrayed in the New Testament. The
Christian Bible consists of both the Old and New Testaments. A term known as Gnosticism influenced
many Christianity beliefs. This affected the way that the

Critical Thinking Skills For Nursing School Essay
INTRODUCTION
Organizational effectiveness depends upon the internal components of a business. For a hospital or a
health care organization the internal components are the nurses and healthcare workers within the
hospital. Business rely on their employees to make the business successful. For a healthcare
organization of any kind to be successful their nurses must have and maintain critical thinking skills.
Critical thinking skills often evolve over time with past experiences. This is why there must be a nice
blend of new and old employees within a unit to make the organization effective and to keep the
patients safe. However, critical thinking skills must being in nursing school. Institutions must help
facilitate higher level of thinking to help evolve critical thinking skills in order to have the best
outcomes for their patients. Better outcomes equal higher payouts for the business, so it is in everyone

The Importance Of Love In Just Kids By Patti Smith
For being different, easy. But to be unique, it s a complicated thing, said Lady Gaga. As a young child,
I have always been different but creative. My vigorous thirst of art making fostered by attending the
Langley Fine Arts School and all women s college Moore College of Art and Design. This might
sound atypical to any other story of a young artist, but I am going to explain why my story is unique.
A friend once said to me An artist sees the world in a different way. It was uncanny to hear this
because I have only known the world through my artist eyes. My story is different because my first
love was unique. Do you remember your first love? Why is your first love, so different from all the
other loves? It s because it s your first. It s that love that you can never let go because it was built on
friendship, laughter, and connection. My first love was an unrequited love, when I was eleven years
old for a gay boy. At the time I assumed nothing of it because I was just being a kid. This story is akin
to Patti Smith, author of the remarkable novel Just Kids. This honest story that tells the tale of two
friends, soul mates, roommates, lovers, and muses. Patti Smith speaks about her relationship with
Robert Mapplethorpe, a young gay photographer. This extraordinary novel reveals how Patti Smith
saw the world; how through her youthful eyes, she thought Mapplethorpe was her creative soul mate.
Nevertheless, since I was 18 years old, I have struggled with accepting and

Behind The Bedroom Wall Discrimination
There Is Only One Race, And That Is Human
There should be no discrimination against languages people speak, skin color, or religion.
Discrimination has been a problem for centuries, but just because your a different race or nationality
doesn t mean we are different. There is only one race, and that is human. The text, Behind the
Bedroom Wall talks about a girl named Korinna who is growing up during the holocaust. She has been
taught that the Jews are enemies and that she should not go near them. When she finds out her parents
have been hiding Jews behind her bedroom wall she has choose between what she has been taught or
what she knows is right and what she believes in. The text, Racism in schools is pushing more black

Even though her sample size was not representative of the whole population it was enough to
determine that the main reason why black students are starting to do homeschool is because of racism.
Many black parents describe the white teachers through negative commentary due to their children
being discriminated. There are many white children who have grown up around stereotypes, just like
Korinna in the book Behind The Bedroom Wall. They have been taught to stay away or bully black
children. In the Washington Posts article, Racism in schools is pushing more black families to
homeschool their children the text states, Furthermore, the attitudes and actions of white teachers
(who make up 85 percent of all public school teachers) were questioned by many of the African
American parents with whom I spoke. They consistently portrayed white teachers as overly critical,
unresponsive, unqualified, insensitive, offensive, mean, hypocritical, and using double standards.
Parents of black students are noticing changes in their children s behaviors. Research shows that many
black students are coming home, crying, due to discrimination. This is the reason that black students
are starting to be homeschooled. Further in to the article the text mentions, Certainly, the parents I
interviewed were very much aware of and concerned about the

Blankets In First Nation Connotations
Throughout the centuries, the gift of a blanket has been associated with feelings of warmth, respect
and kindness from those giving a blanket towards those receiving it. Our article below covers just a
few of the aspects that come to mind when we give a blanket as a gift or even when we dream about
blankets in a dream or see one in a vision of sorts.
Blankets In First Nation Connotations
Depending on the particular first nation identity, such as Dakota, or even down to specific tribes
within a first nation, the blanket may mean something different from one national identity to another.
Moreover, they may be given during different times for various reasons.
For instance, a respected Teton Sioux elder may choose to wrap a wool blanket around ... Show more

In other words, the spirit of the father transfers to the younger who then passes it on to perhaps a
misunderstood child later on in life. Essentially, with the mere laying on of a blanket on their
shoulders or on their backs, an adoption process takes place; moreover, the family and tribe grows
with subsequent members who then become part of the community.
Blanket Giving In Other Cultures
Once again, depending on the culture in which blankets are given, blankets become talismans and take
on a spiritual dimension especially when worn in some dance ritual. Blankets can symbolize
transitions in life such as weddings, graduations or new additions to a family. They can also mean
legendary events, stories and the culture s heritage.
As such, they express a form of craftsmanship, artistry, history and the represented culture itself.
Blankets can even facilitate travel by transferring the spirits of those who gave them as companions on
a distance journey.
In some South African and Lesotho cultures, blankets mark rites of passage. In certain parts of China,
blankets are among the most cherished gifts that are commonly given. For the Australian and New
Zealand Aboriginals, they believe that the giving of blankets initiates a stream of good dreams and

Oedipus, A Tragic Hero
Oedipus, a Tragic Hero
Bob Livingston
Liberty University Sophocles presented the world with Oedipus around 2500 years ago. Never the
less, the story remains among the most riveting of all time. He was, in fact, a man that was driven by a
very high internal moral standard. It was that internal moral standard that ultimately entwined him in a
sequence of events and circumstances that placed him in the spousal relationship with his mother.
Oedipus, in fact, can truly be regarded as a tragic hero as Aristotle himself defined the term.
Considering Aristotle s definition of a tragic hero, it can be found that Oedipus fits the character
description flawlessly through various traits that he displays and the foundation of his tragic fall:
Just as tragic heroes and heroines have been identified with different eras and cultures, the classical
ideal of the tragic hero will be incomplete if the concept of tragedy is not focalized. This paper,
therefore, looks at how the classical period defined and delineated its tragic hero based on the action
and the plot of the play. The paper provides extracts from Sophocles King Oedipus as the main text
and Euripides Iphigenia in Tauris as a supporting text to present Oedipus as the tragic hero. Textual
analysis shows that the delineation of the tragic hero lies in the source or context of the tragic
situation. Sophocles and Euripides views on the tragic hero are similar to Aristotle s concept of
hamartia of the classical period.

Component infantry formations should be able to achieve proficiency at collective training tasks much
more easily than armored formations that must perform complex mounted maneuvers and routine

with training facilities and will require less full time support to maintain vehicles. (3) Incorporation of
the National Guard requires legislative action. In order to avoid a potentially difficult and lengthy fight
to change existing laws, the Army could create multicomponent BCTs composed of Active Duty and

the parents to understand it is a team working as a unit.
Space Furniture
As both teachers should have a desk to complete work, the desk should be on opposite ends of the
classroom for instance, one in the back of the classroom and one in the front as each teacher should be

The Characteristics Of Max Weber s Bureaucracy
Merriam Webster Dictionary (online) defines Bureaucracy as a government characterized by
specialization of functions, adherence to fixed rules, and a hierarchy of authority and a system of
administration marked by officialism, red tape, and proliferation . It also implies administration by
bureau, which is an administrative unit in an organizational setup and mechanism to realize rationally
ordered social action. It comprises non elected officials, be it a public or private sector organization, is
often viewed as an apparatus or entity that rationalizes power, authority and decision making in a
society. Max Weber, a German sociologist and economist, conceived the Bureaucratic Management
Theory and believed it to be more rational and efficient. According to Weber (1946), there exists a
trichotomy of power: traditional, charismatic and rational legal or bureaucratic. Weber believes the
bureaucratic type of power to be the ideal one. Max Weber s illustrious and influential work on
bureaucracy was a substantial contribution to the discipline of public administration. He presumes
bureaucracy to be an efficient and rational organizational structure. Brian R. Fry (1989) considers
Weber s bureaucracy to be rational one the basis of it being well conversant with rules and procedures,
and possessing the specialized knowledge of the bureaucratic domain. According to M. Crozier,
(1964), key characteristics of the ideal type of bureaucracy that Weber ideates include fixed official

Active Learning Is The Best Option Of Learning
Active learning is productive, enhances opportunities and is supported or directed by technology.
However, that is not to say that active learning is the best option of learning for all. To determine how
well students learn while not physically in a classroom we need to evaluate how well learning takes
place in on line classroom environments. Skorton (2013) documented that an online course has the
potential to transform higher educations with substantial benefits for students, their eventual
employers, and participating communities. Therefore, evaluation of learning environments indicates a
real measure of the effectiveness of what is learned. Experiments have shown the way that it is
beneficial to a person s daily activities or student however; from experiences, there should be a means
to demonstrate what is learned. Did learning take place, at least to meet defined objectives from a
class or other learning environments? To me learning via collaborative, instructional, and with a team
of mixed backgrounds can promote a higher degree (Jones 1995). My initial thoughts on this subject
were that active learning seems to be a bit more difficult in an online course that it would be sitting in
an actual classroom with the personal and physical interactions of others. That is unless there are
sessions providing interactive, near real time or live online classes. Learning in a classroom or while
sitting at home on the couch accessing classrooms through online resources is

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Dishwasher Detergents
If you ve ever attempted to churn out homemade dishwasher detergent and have ended up
disappointed with the outcome, the possibility is that you were very close to creating a superb recipe
than you had expected of. Majority of the DIY formulas are done with the very same components,
however, there lies a trick that you can leverage to make it work.
The thing is, cleaners like washing soda are taken under consideration as a base, while the
accumulation removers such as citric acid happen to be... well.. acid. Though both of these ingredients
are crucial for a quality recipe, they will neutralize each other if you use both of them simultaneously.
Several homemade recipes blend them together, though they are peak performers when used

Let me show you an analogy: Hot water happens to be relaxing and soothing, while cold happens to be
invigorating and freshening. But, while you blend the two, you get the outcome tepid water and throw

Peer Group Belonging Research
The peer group is viewed as a microsystem because it is made up of roles, relationships, and activities
(Berns, 2016). Peers are individuals who are of approximately the same gender, age, and social status,
and who share interests. When children share different experiences with their peers, it allows them to
obtain a number of skills, attitudes, and roles that will guide their adaptation throughout life. Peer
groups are important socializers. Peer groups contribute beyond the way that families and school
affect socialization. Peers contribute to the socialization process by satisfying certain basic needs: the
need of belonging to a group and interact socially, and the need to develop a sense of self (Berns,
2016). Belonging needs and socialization develops throughout the childhood. In the infancy stage, the
sense of belonging develops first within the family. An example of this would be when my mom
would comfort me when I was a baby during thunder storms because I was terrified of them. With my
mom comforting me at this stage, I felt a sense of belonging. In the early childhood stage, preschool

Symphony No. 9 Summary
The concert I watched online was Symphony No. 9 From the New World composed by the great
Antonin Dvorak. This performance was done by the New York Philharmonic and launched the New
York Philharmonic s 175th anniversary season. This concert was performed by an orchestra and was
definitely a performance I enjoyed to watch and listen to.
In the beginning of the performance, the orchestra begins with an adagio tempo, using instruments
such as cellos and violins. The tempo is very slow and soothing until it suddenly interrupted by the
sound of trumpets. This is setting a tone that something very dramatic is about to happen. After the
trumpets sound, oboes and flutes begin to play using the same adagio tempo as it was used in the
beginning of the performance. As the flutes and clarinets slowly stop, you can see the conductor, Alan
Gilbert, slowly move his arms apart to instruct the orchestra to get prepared. Gilbert then swings his
arms up and the orchestra switches to an allegro tempo by using crescendo. Violins, cellos, drums,
French horns, tenor trombones and bass trombones are now used to create a suspenseful tone as if
something tragic has just happened. It then changes back to the adagio tempo using instruments with
low pitch and then transfers back to the oboes, flutes and violins. The first ten minutes of the
performance is a wide variation between adagio and allegro and molto allegro and basically switches
tempos between the three which is why I really enjoyed

What Is The Priority Between Registered Interests In Real...
Introduction to determining priorities
Generally, notwithstanding that a security interest has been granted, the lender must ensure that the
security will grant it priority over unsecured creditors, liquidators or trustees in bankruptcy and other
secured creditors who may have a security in the same asset.
Priority between mortgages over real property and between mortgages and other interests in real
property (for example, leases) will be determined by the time of registration. This is explained in this
guidance note.
By contrast, while priority between security interests in personal property will usually be achieved by
registration, however, how priority is obtained will depend on the nature of the secured asset, the

Priority agreements
Interest holders can make private agreements between them in relation to priorities.
Commonly, in the case of mortgages, two or more mortgagees will enter into a priority deed agreeing
contractually the order of payment of money from the sale of one or more securities. Such agreements
are binding between the parties even if the priorities therein recorded are different to the priorities
registered on title. It is useful to note that such a priority deed often simply reiterates the priorities as
they existed as a matter of law (in which case the deed is, strictly speaking, unnecessary), but
sometimes, the deed accords the first mortgage additional rights.
It is not unusual for a first registered mortgagee to refuse to permit the certificate of title of the
security property to be used to enable a would be registered second mortgagee to register its mortgage,
unless that second mortgagee has first entered into a deed of priority with the first mortgagee making
the priorities clear.
Occasionally, to encourage a second mortgagee to advance a sum of money to the mortgagor that it is
in the first mortgagee s interests to see advanced (for example, funds necessary to complete a property
development that will greatly increase the value of the security property), the first mortgagee will
enter into a deed of priority with the second mortgagee according priority to the second

The Great Famine In Ireland
The Great Famine is often referred to as the greatest tragedy in Irish history (The Great Famine,
2012). In 1845 one third of Irelands population was dependent on one crop, the potato. This crop grew

no income for the people of Ireland.
Ireland under the British rule was subject to the harsh treatment of the English government. The
liberals, Whigs, in office were of the mindset that it was not the governments place to intervene (The
Great Famine, 2012).

to Israel in exchange for alliance in fighting the British. In the weeks before the Independence war The
Irgun and Lehi groups entered neIghborhood Deir Yassin and killed 254 arab residents. This event
would be knows as the Deir Yassin Massacre. The founder of the Lehi as Avraham Stern a long time

  • 6. Cost Allocation And Cost Management Cost Allocation Almost every single company that is in business faces a serious problem called cost allocation. Every company no matter what they sell or what service they provide faces the problem of allocating costs to defined cost objects. The cost allocation process is a very hard process for most. Cost allocation is a very complex and difficult procedure that requires the application of appropriate accounting procedures. These accounting methods sometimes will not provide objective and fair cost allocation because they have irrational bases that are not always reliable or appropriate. This is why accounting theory and practice steadily try to advance upon methods that are already in place and help develop new ones that could provide objective and fair cost allocation (Perčević Dražić, 2008). Cost allocation is a very crucial procedure for many companies not just production companies, but also in companies that provide service. Cost allocation has one purpose and that is to enable the determination of the cost of a product per unit in production companies and the cost of a provided service in service companies. Therefore, methods for cost allocation directly affect the service or product profitability assessment and at the same time sway segment and company profitability. The main problem is the choice of the cost allocation accounting approach. There are certain methods for cost allocation that do not apply the same to every company. If the method for ... Theories From a different angle of view, the ultimate aim of culture/media theories is to provide theoretical/academic foundation to different genres within art and media. Likewise, there are several film theories aiming to provide theoretical framework to different genres within motion picture. Besides, these theories help to perceive the relationship between other genres within art and Hollywood movies. Structuralist Film Theory One can easily identify that this theory is interconnected with structuralism, especially related to structural linguistics. This theory claims that directors basically make use of different codes to construct meaning. For instance, different scenes are combined into a single story with the help of editing. If editing is not done, the viewers cannot perceive the directors codes or ideas. But in Hollywood films, utmost importance is given to editing because the directors know that editing can provide spontaneity to their films as a whole. • 24. The Importance Of Love In Just Kids By Patti Smith For being different, easy. But to be unique, it s a complicated thing, said Lady Gaga. As a young child, I have always been different but creative. My vigorous thirst of art making fostered by attending the Langley Fine Arts School and all women s college Moore College of Art and Design. This might sound atypical to any other story of a young artist, but I am going to explain why my story is unique. A friend once said to me An artist sees the world in a different way. It was uncanny to hear this because I have only known the world through my artist eyes. My story is different because my first love was unique. Do you remember your first love? Why is your first love, so different from all the other loves? It s because it s your first. It s that love that you can never let go because it was built on friendship, laughter, and connection. My first love was an unrequited love, when I was eleven years old for a gay boy. At the time I assumed nothing of it because I was just being a kid. This story is akin to Patti Smith, author of the remarkable novel Just Kids. This honest story that tells the tale of two friends, soul mates, roommates, lovers, and muses. Patti Smith speaks about her relationship with Robert Mapplethorpe, a young gay photographer. This extraordinary novel reveals how Patti Smith saw the world; how through her youthful eyes, she thought Mapplethorpe was her creative soul mate. Even though her sample size was not representative of the whole population it was enough to determine that the main reason why black students are starting to do homeschool is because of racism. Many black parents describe the white teachers through negative commentary due to their children being discriminated. There are many white children who have grown up around stereotypes, just like Korinna in the book Behind The Bedroom Wall. They have been taught to stay away or bully black children. In the Washington Posts article, Racism in schools is pushing more black families to homeschool their children the text states, Furthermore, the attitudes and actions of white teachers (who make up 85 percent of all public school teachers) were questioned by many of the African American parents with whom I spoke. They consistently portrayed white teachers as overly critical, unresponsive, unqualified, insensitive, offensive, mean, hypocritical, and using double standards. Parents of black students are noticing changes in their children s behaviors. Research shows that many black students are coming home, crying, due to discrimination. This is the reason that black students are starting to be homeschooled. Blankets In First Nation Connotations Throughout the centuries, the gift of a blanket has been associated with feelings of warmth, respect and kindness from those giving a blanket towards those receiving it. Our article below covers just a few of the aspects that come to mind when we give a blanket as a gift or even when we dream about blankets in a dream or see one in a vision of sorts. Blankets In First Nation Connotations Depending on the particular first nation identity, such as Dakota, or even down to specific tribes within a first nation, the blanket may mean something different from one national identity to another. Essentially, with the mere laying on of a blanket on their shoulders or on their backs, an adoption process takes place; moreover, the family and tribe grows with subsequent members who then become part of the community. Blanket Giving In Other Cultures Once again, depending on the culture in which blankets are given, blankets become talismans and take on a spiritual dimension especially when worn in some dance ritual. Blankets can symbolize transitions in life such as weddings, graduations or new additions to a family. They can also mean legendary events, stories and the culture s heritage. As such, they express a form of craftsmanship, artistry, history and the represented culture itself. Blankets can even facilitate travel by transferring the spirits of those who gave them as companions on a distance journey. In some South African and Lesotho cultures, blankets mark rites of passage. • 27. Oedipus, A Tragic Hero Oedipus, a Tragic Hero Bob Livingston Liberty University Sophocles presented the world with Oedipus around 2500 years ago. Never the less, the story remains among the most riveting of all time. He was, in fact, a man that was driven by a very high internal moral standard. It was that internal moral standard that ultimately entwined him in a sequence of events and circumstances that placed him in the spousal relationship with his mother. Oedipus, in fact, can truly be regarded as a tragic hero as Aristotle himself defined the term. Considering Aristotle s definition of a tragic hero, it can be found that Oedipus fits the character description flawlessly through various traits that he displays and the foundation of his tragic fall: Just as tragic heroes and heroines have been identified with different eras and cultures, the classical ideal of the tragic hero will be incomplete if the concept of tragedy is not focalized. This paper, therefore, looks at how the classical period defined and delineated its tragic hero based on the action and the plot of the play. The paper provides extracts from Sophocles King Oedipus as the main text and Euripides Iphigenia in Tauris as a supporting text to present Oedipus as the tragic hero. Textual analysis shows that the delineation of the tragic hero lies in the source or context of the tragic situation. Sophocles and Euripides views on the tragic hero are similar to Aristotle s concept of hamartia of the classical period. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

However, that is not to say that active learning is the best option of learning for all. To determine how well students learn while not physically in a classroom we need to evaluate how well learning takes place in on line classroom environments. Skorton (2013) documented that an online course has the potential to transform higher educations with substantial benefits for students, their eventual employers, and participating communities. Therefore, evaluation of learning environments indicates a real measure of the effectiveness of what is learned. Experiments have shown the way that it is beneficial to a person s daily activities or student however; from experiences, there should be a means to demonstrate what is learned. Did learning take place, at least to meet defined objectives from a class or other learning environments? To me learning via collaborative, instructional, and with a team of mixed backgrounds can promote a higher degree (Jones 1995). My initial thoughts on this subject were that active learning seems to be a bit more difficult in an online course that it would be sitting in an actual classroom with the personal and physical interactions of others. Peer groups are important socializers. Peer groups contribute beyond the way that families and school affect socialization. Peers contribute to the socialization process by satisfying certain basic needs: the need of belonging to a group and interact socially, and the need to develop a sense of self (Berns, 2016). This performance was done by the New York Philharmonic and launched the New York Philharmonic s 175th anniversary season. This concert was performed by an orchestra and was definitely a performance I enjoyed to watch and listen to. In the beginning of the performance, the orchestra begins with an adagio tempo, using instruments such as cellos and violins. The tempo is very slow and soothing until it suddenly interrupted by the sound of trumpets. This is setting a tone that something very dramatic is about to happen. After the trumpets sound, oboes and flutes begin to play using the same adagio tempo as it was used in the beginning of the performance. As the flutes and clarinets slowly stop, you can see the conductor, Alan Gilbert, slowly move his arms apart to instruct the orchestra to get prepared. Gilbert then swings his arms up and the orchestra switches to an allegro tempo by using crescendo. Violins, cellos, drums, French horns, tenor trombones and bass trombones are now used to create a suspenseful tone as if something tragic has just happened. It then changes back to the adagio tempo using instruments with low pitch and then transfers back to the oboes, flutes and violins. The first ten minutes of the performance is a wide variation between adagio and allegro and molto allegro and basically switches tempos between the three which is why I really enjoyed ... Priority between mortgages over real property and between mortgages and other interests in real property (for example, leases) will be determined by the time of registration. Commonly, in the case of mortgages, two or more mortgagees will enter into a priority deed agreeing contractually the order of payment of money from the sale of one or more securities. Such agreements are binding between the parties even if the priorities therein recorded are different to the priorities registered on title. It is useful to note that such a priority deed often simply reiterates the priorities as they existed as a matter of law (in which case the deed is, strictly speaking, unnecessary), but sometimes, the deed accords the first mortgage additional rights. It is not unusual for a first registered mortgagee to refuse to permit the certificate of title of the security property to be used to enable a would be registered second mortgagee to register its mortgage, unless that second mortgagee has first entered into a deed of priority with the first mortgagee making the priorities clear. Occasionally, to encourage a second mortgagee to advance a sum of money to the mortgagor that it is in the first mortgagee s interests to see advanced (for example, funds necessary to complete a property development that will greatly increase the value of the security property), the first mortgagee will enter into a deed of priority with the second mortgagee according priority to the second ...
