What is the Clinical Supervision Model?
 This model mostly consists of the Cooperating Teacher
and the Student teaching Candidate.
 LAYOUT:
 Modeling

 Data is collected on Student Teacher and his students
 Post-teaching conference
 Rationale:
 Bigger learning Curve for TC
 Allows more teaching to the TC
 Allows TC to actively see lessons being taught before
teaching
 Quicker transition into Student Teaching
 Collaboration takes place after lesson rather than
before.

What is Reflection?/Why is it important?
 Reflection – a fixing of the thoughts on something; careful consideration
thought occurring in consideration or meditation.
 We all have different ways of reflecting
 Journal entry’s
 Meditation
 Audio/podcast
 Etc.
 Why Reflect?
 We can make our thoughts and ideas concrete.
 Allows us to analyze the situations we encounter.
 Allows us to remember how we felt, what we did and what we could change in past
lessons.
 Reflections should take us in the moment of what we are reflecting about.
