2. Location 1 This location shoot was for the narrative shots in my music video. I decided to go here because it
has views and sights that can portray what my music video and song is also portraying – love and
romance. This was a successful shoot and this is a good possibility for my video
I decided to use my
mum as my actor to
see what the location
would look like with
people in the shot. I
feel that it would
work well, although
the quality will be
improved massively
Although all of these shots were taken with an iPhone, they
have all been exported with good quality and the shot to the
left shows this. I can have my actors walking down the steps
whilst I stay in one place to make them enter the scene.
This location also worked well because there weren’t any people walking in
the shot. This is beneficial and I will try to shoot when no one is in the shot.
This can make the overall music video lose quality and professionalism
3. Location 2 In my opinion, the shots taken in this location are
successful in this shot too. I believe that this is the
case because I have included two actors (my mum
and dad) in the shot which can portray the shots
that I could possibly use.
These shots also work due to the fact that they are
in focus and have been taken naturally. There is an
equal length with head space, although when it
comes to filming the actual video. I will be using a
wide variety of shots in order to make my video as
professional as it can be.
Inserted below this slideshow will be a few panning
shots that I took. These can be inserted with the
establishing shots or when I start to introduce this
exact location.
One problem that I may face when using this
location is that it’s a very iconic landmark in Bristol,
and so is very busy at all times during the day. I
cannot help this but will have to find a time in the
day where there aren’t many people in the
background. This may look more professional when
being at an iconic landmark. I shall have to fin this
out when filming.
