The verbs ending in -e
the "-e" end is replaced by "-ing“

Construction of the gerund
Bending of the final consonant in
the formation of the gerund
For the bending is made must be fulfilled these three
conditions:
1. The word ends in a single consonant (other than r, w, x or
y) [example: set]
2. The last consonant is preceded by a single vowel.
[Example: let]
3. The word is monosyllabic or falls the accent on the last
syllable or word ending in "L“
