Reflect on knowledge gained from Professional Study and provide information on how to improve the process Explore opportunities to use the results of the year-long study to develop a plan individually, or for your school/district, for future improvements. Purpose ofPhase III:  Evaluation/ Reflection
Effective School Leaders To be effective, you must learn from experiences.  This requires the ability to look inside yourself and deal with your own feelings and motives.   To be effective, experiences must be related to your strengths, shortcomings and defenses.   Successful leaders know themselves.   Self-knowledge comes from seeking feedback from others, reflecting on what you are doing, and being honest with yourself.

Ensuring management of the organization, operations, and resources for a safe, efficient, and effective learning environment.A school administrator is an educational leader who promotes the success of all students by:

These statements describe the knowledge, dispositions, and performances contained within the ISLLC Standards for School Leaders.
Respond to each statement by reflecting on what you have learned, what you believe and value and what you are accomplishing as a school leader. Self-Assessment Inventory
PLU Process Phase I Content and Knowledge Participate in approved activities described in the PLU.   Activities vary based on the standard. Phase II Implementation and Embedding of Learning  Implement learned strategies at school/district; Evidence may be: log documentation; blogging Phase III Evaluation and Reflection Reflect on knowledge gained from Professional Study and how the process can be improved Evaluation/Reflection may be at Convention round tables, CLAS office, or via webcast. **ALL PLUs have three phases but different requirements, a specified PLU number, and a distinct expiration date.

To be effective, experiences must be related to your strengths, shortcomings and defenses. Successful leaders know themselves. Self-knowledge comes from seeking feedback from others, reflecting on what you are doing, and being honest with yourself.

Phase II Implementation and Embedding of Learning Implement learned strategies at school/district; Evidence may be: log documentation; blogging Phase III Evaluation and Reflection Reflect on knowledge gained from Professional Study and how the process can be improved Evaluation/Reflection may be at Convention round tables, CLAS office, or via webcast. **ALL PLUs have three phases but different requirements, a specified PLU number, and a distinct expiration date.
