This document outlines a landscape construction project done by a group of students. It includes an introduction to the project, site analysis of a 10m x 10m area next to the library selected as the site. It describes the irregular geometric garden concept and includes a master plan. Planting plan, costing details for hardscape, softscape, electrical and maintenance are provided. Construction details and a maintenance plan are also included, along with references.

2. INTRODUCTION
The aim of the project is to introduce students to Landscape
Project from ideas stage to completion.
Students will have basic exposure to concept, analysis, master
plan, costing, planting plan, construction and maintenance.
Student will be given a small site within campus to study and
apply the anatomy of project accordingly.
We’ve decided to choose 10m X 10m area next to the library as
our site.

3. SITE
ANALYSIS
Site analysis is an inventory completed as a preparatory step to site
planning, a form of urban planning which involves research, analysis,
and synthesis. It primarily deals with basic data as it relates to a
specific site.

5. CONCEPT
A concept is a general idea derived or inferred from specific
instances or occurrences. A concept is also something formed in the
mind, a thought or notion. The improvement will be a garden, the
garden concept is an irregular geometric garden. These irregular
shapes fills the space of 10m x 10m with ground covers and timber
decks. There is also a pond designed from an irregular shape.

7. MASTER
PLAN
A master plan is an evolving, long-term planning document. It
establishes the framework and key elements of a site reflecting a
clear vision created and adopted in an open process. It synthesizes
civic goals and the public’s aspirations for a project, gives them form
and organization, and defines a realistic plan for implementation,
including subsequent approvals by public agencies.

9. PLANTING
PLAN
A planting plan is a construction document that shows the location,
quantity, and other characteristics of vegetation to be planted in the
landscape. It should be easy to read and understand. Choosing the

13. CONSTRUCTION
DETAILS
Construction details show a small part of the construction at a larger
scale, to show how the component parts fit together. They are also
used to show small surface details, for example decorative elements.
Section drawings at large scale are a standard way of showing
building construction details, typically showing complex junctions
(such as floor to wall junction, window openings, eaves and roof
apex) that cannot be clearly shown on a drawing that includes the
full height of the building. A full set of construction details needs to
show plan details as well as vertical section details. One detail is
seldom produced in isolation: a set of details shows the information
needed to understand the construction in three dimensions. Typical
scales for details are 1/10, 1/5 and full size.

15. MAINTENANCE
PLAN
The process of identifying and arranging, in an orderly manner, all
required elements of the maintenance/repair support capability
necessary to ensure all are capable of performing their operational
missions.
